First visit under new management. I have not been since pandemic. I used to go here all the time for an order to go. The Chef is the new owner and his menu is definitely a delicious twist on local Mexican food. The aesthetic is beach surf culture meets Ikea earthy comfy. They do not offer rice/beans on entrees. Everything is basically ala carte. I had one asada baja taco, an order of chicken taquitos and they were fried lightly and had a good crunch but not too dry which they can be when overcooked. I split an order of buffalo cauliflower and it was so good. The sauce that accompanied it was very flavorful. The winner of my meal was definitely the chimichuri sauce. It was definitely packed with flavor and I put it on everything. I had the special featured strawberry cheesecake recommended by our server. The presentation was pretty and the cheesecake was good but I was so full from my meal I only had a small bite. Will come back very soon. Range: $$

A better variety of choices, especially vegan.

I haven't been here since they changed ownership. I asked our amazing server Natalie and she said it was the same chef who now owns the restaurant. He actually brought out the cauliflower and was very kind when serving our dish. Cauliflower was amazing! Cooked just right. Not too mushy or over battered. It had a perfect amount of heat with a perfect amount of cotijo cheese sprinkled on. $10 Steak taco was delicious. Tortilla seemed homemade and the chimichurri sauce was amazing. I definitely could have eaten 10 more. A little pricey for a small street taco but worth the price for the flavor. $6 Potato taco was a fried taco with vegan chorizo and plenty of pickled onions on top. I used my friend's salsa from her chicken taquito plate. It was a flavorful fire roasted salsa and made the potato taco even better. $5.50 I only went once before the new owner. I wasn't in love and thought it was okay. I like all the vegan options on the menu. Full of flavor and a fantastic meal. I love that it's close to home and supporting a small business. We got ADA parking right in front of the restaurant. There are other businesses in the same strip mall so parking could be a little hard. There is additional parking behind the building. Everything was very clean. Alex was constantly cleaning the menus when he had a chance. We ate at 5:00pm. The perfect time on a Friday night. There are a few tables outside. I saw they do have dog bowls for water for your fur babies. The true test is to take my soon to be 99 y/o mom to try the shrimp tacos. She "only" eats Del Taco ‍. I'll keep you posted.

Cozy and inviting interior.. Friendly and quick staff, and a very yummy menu. I wasn't able to find a parking spot but thankfully I just did a pick-up order that I placed online. (Small parking lot) I got the baja shrimp tacos and the ingredients topped ontop of the battered and fried shrimp was super fresh! The creamy sauce was plentiful as well as the tomato salsas. It was sadly only one shrimp piece on it.. Like really only 1 piece for 1 taco? I wish there was at least 2 pieces of shrimp. I don't think it's worth $6 that was on DD? Maybe the platters or other plates will be more worth your money!

Great place to grab lunch and eat some amazing ceviche and fish tacos. Shout out to Brian for the great service and recommendations. The place is a little on the small side but the food comes out quick and it has a great vibe. The older gentleman behind the counter was also very hospitable. Moderately priced 80 dollars after tip for my meal.

We went for lunch on a Thursday. The restaurant had a great vibe and was immaculate. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The waitress/host was extremely pleasant and explained the menu options to us. Our drinks and our Chips and Salsa/Guacamole arrived first. They were delicious. We received our food fairly quickly and the Tacos were soo good! I highly recommend the Fish Taco but everything was amazing. I will be returning!!! Enjoy!!! #jsho

Food was great. We tried the 4 ceviche sampler and they were all excellent. The tacos were tasty. Big portions. We were stuffed. Two tacos per person and the ceviche sampler was a lot of food. It was nice to be able to order each item independently so we could mix or match our tacos. We are definitely going to go back.

The Service- Friendly and attentive. The Place- Cute The Food- 1) Tuna Mango Habanero Ceviche- This was delicious and I would highly recommend. Please note that it does have a kick to it. 2) Chips and Salsa- The chips were very good and so was the salsa. 3) Guacamole- Good and recommended. 4) Steak Tacos- Street style tacos that were very good. Would recommend that they lower the price a little bit to be more competitive.

BBT sets the tone right outta the gate with crispy fresh-out-of-the-oven baked TORTILLA CHIPS. Combine that with their delicious GUACAMOLE and out of this world SALSA and, mi amigo, you are off to the right start. This place rivals much larger and more-monied hotspots and is, in many respects, far better because they're small and more personable. The quality and care they put into each dish resonates. For example, you won't find a better BAJA FISH TACO near here. Not at LURE, not at El Torito. And when you factor in the price point and tender love they put into each of those tacos, forget it, BAJA BEACH TACOS wins hands down. What we had: BAJA FISH TACO POTATO & CHEESE TACO BAJA AVOCADO TACO (you MUST try this! only $5.50!!) GUACAMOLE SALSA CRISPY HOT TORTILLA CHIPS Parking is usually enough to get by as 5 businesses share the tiny strip-mall lot. They do not serve alcohol. Don't let that stop you though...this place is an incredible score.

Hands down THE BEST FISH TACOS in the valley. It's a must try for sure! I always get a fish taco on every visit. Honestly all their food is amazing and fresh but their tacos are on another level. Chef G in the back is always cooking up new and creative dishes so whenever you go, there's always new things to try. They have everything for everyone. Vegans welcome too! Service is always great and fast. %100 recommend to everyone!

Baja Beach Tacos is one of my favorite spots, especially on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when it's happy hour all day. You really can't beat the deals and the food is always on point. I usually go for the fish and shrimp tacos. They're sooo good every time. The fish is crispy and flavorful, and the shrimp is always cooked just right. They load them up with toppings too, so every bite is packed with flavor. I recently tried the spicy tuna crunch taco and wow, that one really surprised me. It's got that sushi-style flavor but in taco form, and the crunch just takes it to another level. Super flavorful and definitely something I'd order again.

I've been meaning to try the other items on their menu, but it was so good the first time that I had to order it again. The portions are *very* generous, and they had the usual sides readily available on the side: lemons, cucumbers, sliced radish, grilled onions and peppers, etc. Also had a bite of their corn quesadilla... the tortilla was soooo good. They had the masa on the side and were making the tortillas fresh and by hand. Yum. Payment: - They take Apple pay! :) Parking: - We found street parking nearby thankfully, but it might be hard to find in general due to the area. Seating: - They have seating to the left of their grill (tables, folding chairs, a tarp overhead). Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

It took me longer to decide what I wanted to try than what it took for the line to move and for it to be my turn to order. So yea, these folks are FAST and very courteous as well. They have real Al Pastor on the trompo (the spit) so of course I ordered pastor tacos and a pastor mulita. I also ordered a few SUADERO tacos which you don't find just anywhere. I am still raving about the amount of meat and flavor of the food here, it's insanely delicious. Once you get your food you make your way down to the end of the taco stand where you are met with an amazing array of fresh taco fixings and salsas.
