I get my hair cut and styled by Danny. I usually request a fo-hawk or something urban with a little length in the back. He always cuts and styles my hair just the way I ask and it always looks great. They have no idea what they are doing. I went in to get my hair fixed (I usually cut it myself, tried something new but couldn't get the back right). So I walk in and no one even bothered to talk to me...all they wanted was to get me in the chair. I should have known at that point that they didn't really care. So I told the guy I just needed the back cleaned up. I tried to do a long aline and the back looked choppy so I just wanted it to look better. I told him not to cut the front because I wanted to keep length and it looked good in front. So of course he cut the front...and it's not even! One side is shorter than the other! And it's also choppier than before! I'm so pissed. I don't go to salons for that exact reason. Hair stylists NEVER listen! Now my hair is too short and I have to hope it grows fast. Until then it'll be in a low pony. I'm so mad that I actually paid them. My hair was half wet half dry when I left so I was hoping once I styled it that it would look ok. Might go back tomorrow and ask for a refund. NEVER going to a "Professional" again. read more

Kevin is the only person I'll let touch my hair. He has never done me wrong. My aunt had recommended him and I've never been sorry. He has dyed my hair, styled my hair, and recently chopped my hair. And each time I've gotten nothing but compliments. Emily does my manicure and pedicure, and she's super sweet and super talented! I forgot to mention how reasonable their prices are! Idk where else you can find a full gel manicure for under $23, I mean a good one at least. I decided to go to this salon after seeing a few of the reviews here. They were all positive and since I live like 2 blocks from it, I decided to give it a try. I walked in and immediately got seated. I needed a haircut badly and it showed; I hadn't had one in about 3 months. I get my haircut and it looks decent, and she offers to style it for me right away. ....needless to say, I should have been more observant when I was getting it cut. I came home to shower off all the extra hair, and once it dried, I began to notice all the things wrong with it.... I asked for my hair to keep the same shape that I already had, and just to make the front shorter and to thin the rest out. The stylist (whose name I can't remember because she had a really thick vietnamese accent) barely thinned my hair, and didn't even texture the front, so now I look like I took a bowl and just followed the rim. It looks like a 6 year old cut my hair. If I could post pictures, I would. I'll be heading back tomorrow and demanding a re-cut by a different person. After that, I doubt I'll be going back. I never had such a bad haircut. Even my mom gave me better haircuts, and she has no formal training! read more

Worst haircut ever. I asked for a wash and trim, but the "wash" consisted of him dousing my head in ice cold water, then 10 seconds of shampoo being rubbed roughly into my scalp, and no conditioner at all. Then instead of squeezing my hair dry with the towel, he roughly rubbed the towel into my hair (which is terrible for your hair and was quite uncomfortable!). I told him I just wanted a trim, no layers, with a center part. He quickly cut my hair with the part on one side, then the other. I finally asked him a second time to trim with a center part, and he acted all put out, and spent another 30 seconds trimming with a center part - that was still off center by at least an inch! He spent a grand total of about 8 minutes trimming my hair. Absolutely awful. I will NEVER return here again! read more

This place is so awesome ! They have a cool flat screen tv and dance music videos playing upbeat hits so you feel like you wanna dance. I went in late on a Friday evening and I got a cut, color, highlight, and tried a supreme French pedicure while sitting in a leather large cushy high back reclining comfortable massage chair. The pedicure I got included a salt scrub, cooling gel and a 10 minute deep tissue foot massage. She also designed my nails with cool flowers and a nice glittery design, I also had an eye brow and lip wax all for $136.00 It's a fun place to hang out, listen to the cool music, get great fast attentive service and experience friendly staff. The lady ( I believe Rose or Rosa was her name) made a mistake and acted as if nothing happen then tried to convince me to cut the top of my hair shorter to cover her mistake :/ needless to say I said yes. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I took my daughter to get a haircut to remove all of the damaged hair from bleaching. Kevin was recommended by my sister so we asked for him. My daughter proceeded to show him two pictures and then he proceeded to give her a crappy haircut of his choice! After I noticed that he was completely going in a different direction, I told him to stop and I showed him the picture saying the haircut looked nothing like it. He brushed me off and said something I couldn't even understand and wanted to keep cutting. He asked her how long she wanted the bangs and she showed him with her finger where and of course he cut five inches above that. I told him no and that it did not look anything like the picture. He continued to brush me off so I held the picture up to him and said "her hair looks nothing like this". He said that the hair was different and that it would not look like that. I replied that he should have told us that in the beginning and not give her the haircut he wanted. He then started to make excuses and basically didn't care. I argued with him saying it was a perfect haircut and I was so mad that I kept holding up the picture and I told him it looked like I had cut it myself. I would have done a better job with absolutely no training. You know Chucky from the movies? That's what the back of her hair looked like. I was so angry I was trying not curse him out but I fully stopped him. So then he gets indignant because he realized I wasn't going to let him do it and calls a coworker over and asks her to fix his awful mess because he wasn't "comfortable" anymore. I told him that was fine cause I wasn't comfortable with the crap he had done. The other girl told me she couldn't do much and just trimmed the back of Chucky's head, didn't help. As a last minute idea we went here to get hair and make-up done for prom. I requested a simple hair style and natural-looking make-up as I'm not really a salon person. Danny was the guy that did my hair and although it came out beautifully he was very insensitive about burning my hair with his hair dryer! It legitimately hurt my scalp. This other girl did my make-up and paid absolutely no heed to my request, piling on eye shadow when I requested minimal. She was horrible, seeming rushed as new customers checked in. Being as I've never shaped/waxed my eyebrows she refused to do anything with them but proceeded to violently pluck them--without telling me beforehand! They still charged us a ridiculous amount of money for the quality of their services. Needless to say, beauty doesn't come cheap (or painless). A piece of my skin near my eyebrow is now a scab, and I have resolved to never return again. read more

I don't even know what to say. I went in on my lunch break just to get my hair washed and blow dried because I wasn't going to have time between work and getting ready for my Xmas party tonight. (My hair is about half way down my back) Just a simple wash and blow dry THAT'S IT! Didn't know someone could so badly ruin that. I had a bad feeling when I realized that she didn't even get the bottom of my head wet with water but figured it's just a wash, you can't mess that up. Then she takes me to the chair and immediately takes a blow dryer to my hair. Didn't try to towel dry for a min or even brush it for that matter. Just went straight for the blow dryer. The. Her coworker came with another blow dryer. So now I have soaking wet hair and two blow dryers going in opposite directions. Ultimately making the biggest ball of tangled half wet half dry hair. She couldn't get a brush through it at this point...OBVIOUSLY. Then tells me " ok you're done $15 please" left with extremely tangled hair that wasn't even dry. I shouldn't have even paid and I can't believe I did! Can't even begin to think of the mess that would have happened if I actually went in to get my hair cut, colored and styled! read more
