    Thai Thailand Ice Cream

Very clean place and friendly staff and the ice cream amazing. 100% recommend. They have a kiosk where you can pay with card and a register where they also take cash.

Oreo's Secret Ice Cream and House Milk Bubble Tea were both fantastic. So happy we made the trip over here - we will be back!

Delicious and great service. The place was clean the sweets were fresh and we left smiling!

This review is overdue. Due to an injury I'm just now able to type this up. Back on June 5th my girlfriend took me to Fanny's Thai Rolled Ice Cream. I love me some ice cream and had never had it before. Parking is a little bit of an issue. There are some limited spots in front of the store shared with other stores on this access street/side street. We ended up parking a couple blocks away and walking. If you're lucky enough to find a parking spot near the front of the store, take it. Other ways you'll probably have to park on one of the bridges and walk, but it's not far. The inside of the shop is kind of small. There were only 4 tables, and they were pretty close to each other. You have to walk past them to the back of the store to place your order. All the orders are done via an automated system. At the time we were there it seemed only one person was working, and she was making the ice cream. After figuring out we had to place our order and pay via the kiosk we were on our way. For those that are technology challenged, this might be problematic. If you were like me that day and a little slow on the uptake, then you might get frustrated until you figure it out. I think it's a good system, just not clearly explained. I don't remember what my girlfriend ordered but I had the double Oreo with Nutella. After we placed our order we grabbed the only available table and waited. The employee was making orders placed before us. The process of making this ice cream is done right in front of you. You get to watch from start to finish, it's really fun to watch. It's very satisfying to watch the ice cream freeze on the stone and then be rolled. Even though there was only one employee, the wait wasn't long. Sure the ice cream is a little labor intensive to make, but it was so very delicious... Seriously you're paying for ice cream and a show, it's a total experience. Definitely worth the visit.

First time trying Thai roll ice cream and it was nothing like I expected. You order at a kiosk and can customize your order by adding on toppings. Then when your order is up, it is literally made right in front of you. Yes, when we went they were busy on a cold and rainy Sunday evening. But they were very diligently getting orders through and kind service. It is just big enough for a parlor a few tables but cute decor. There was even a wall with markers my toddler loved. We will be back!

This place is so YUMMY. Delicious ice cream and so many cool different flavors. Really hard choices. They also have Bubble Tea. FYI they are only accepting card right now. You order at the kiosk. No human contact just when you pick up your ice cream. Can't wait to stop back. Just the parking sucks. It always has. Not their fault.

THIS IS MY HOLY GRAIL ROLLED ICE CREAM. The ice cream has always been soooo good. Never went to a different rolled ice cream store anymore upon finding them. Plus the owner who also does the service most of the time is very very nice, always smiling and gives great service. Ambience is also very cute, a nice place to eat ice cream and not get bored. I come here at least once a month!!! Thank you for the great service and more power!!!

En route from Madison to Detroit, we got off the freeway to try this place and so worth it! The ice cream is made right in front of you... not like ta Stone Cold: they start with ice cream, these guys are starting with liquid. This is like ice cream as art. And it's not so over sweet like typical American ice cream... the key lime really tastes like lime first, ice cream second. Same for avocado. Gorgeous end product and extra stars for mochi topping! My favorite! ( chewy and sweet rice balls... kind of like marshmallow) We will stop here every time we drive through until there's one closer to home!

I had the strawberry banana ice cream and it was delicious. The only negative thing would be it didn't last long. It was fine in a few bites that's how delicious it was...l wanted more when I was done. Definitely will try the other flavors .. they all looked good!!!

We here with my niece on a cold weeknight in January. All 4 tables were full with an additional 2 people waiting on the bench along the window. There was one person working so it was clear that everyone arrived around the same time, so the employee was working tirelessly to get each order prepared. We ordered two rolled ice cream specials & one bubble tea. We waited about 20 minutes, but we enjoyed watching the employee create each individual order through the glass. Let me tell you, this guy WORKED HIS BUTT OFF. He didn't act stressed or rushed, even though he was a bit outnumbered by the waiting customers. He took great care to prepare each order beautifully & as the customer requested. He smiled everyone and cheerfully thanked each guest for their patronage. I also loved how immaculate it was behind the counter and in the dining area. It was extremely clean. When we finally got our order, they were beautifully crafted. I never had rolled ice cream before so it was a new try. I wasn't a fan of the bubble tea, but I've only had bubble tea once before in my life and it's just not my thing. Nothing against how this company made it though. Anyway I was so impressed at how hard this man worked so I left him a $20 tip and wished him a happy new year. I would definitely come here again and try another rolled ice cream special. The only downside that I could think of is that they do not have a bathroom for guests .

Service was good. The ice cream was tasty. The bad was no bathroom my kid had to go. We had to go elsewhere it was bad.

I really loved my experience here. The "show" of making the ice cream, the warmth of the man making the ice cream and the care that goes into making it into art. My young niece and nephew thought it was so fun watching and they loved the ice cream. We got a strawberry/nutella ice cream and I love that they go overboard with the toppings: whipped cream and marshmallows and sprinkles and a beautiful fanned-out sliced strawberry and a chocolate-covered pocky! All of this just makes you feel more special, like you're really getting a treat. It's not the BEST ice cream I've ever had but no complaints at all! On the taste! We also shared a Thai iced tea flavored ice cream that was so interesting and delicious, I love trying new things! Bring on the sweetened condensed milk!

We had a great time watching him make the ice cream and it tasted amazing. I tried the Oreo and it was so, soo good. He puts a lot of detail into making his product look and taste great. Worth the try!

2 left are Oreo. Right is banana

Ask the Community - Fanny's Thai Roll Ice Cream

Does anyone know if there are vegan options here?

I was wondering the same thing now that I've switched but no unfortunately. Now I just make my own. One day I'll ask if they'll make it with almond milk for me! Haha if I bring it with me

Would not reccomned here is why: Customer service: One specific employee was rude to my older parents and I. My parents andI went in and an employee, and older ladyolder lady asked me what I wanted. I said I was still deciding. My parents were standing next to me and instead of asking them for their order she just walked away. Another employee told her we were trying to order. She waved her arms in the air to that employee and said "they don't want anything." Right in front of us and loud enough that we heard her. She looked annoyed and walked away. We then had to wait a few minutes while the other employees helped other costumer. Then when the lady saw another customer come in, she came out, ignored us and went to help them. I told her, "but we were here first (still need help with order)," and she said "somebody else will take your order." That's just disrespectful, unprofessional. The paletas are very good! However, it's a shame that the customer service, from this one employee, was so bad. A product being good is not enough to keep people coming back. Customer service is the greatest factor in the success of a business. I know La Michoacana is a big chain and it will not fail as a company from one bad review, but good reputation needs to be sustained.

Gee N Jay's is one of the cheap Americanized Chinese classics. Only has orders to go. The majority of customers wouldn't want to eat inside thankfully. Found out about this after going past it a few times and after that we got curious. It's a pretty crappy looking building that even has a drive thru if you can believe it. This certainly isn't authentic stuff. A typical place with the big pictures of the entrees. They only had a few listed. Also has kiosks. These had the full menu though. It's about $13 for an entree. There's a few okay for vegetarians. I got the Kung Pao Tofu. This is a pretty standard version. Has a pretty good hotness. There's mostly tofu along with a few pieces of baby corn and peppers.
