We have been coming to this cleaners for years and enjoy their reliability and turnaround time. Good hours and for the most part friendly staff. Although in a pandemic with multiple variants present currently, the staff member while I was there did not wear a mask and the customers did not wear masks while going in. There also was no enforcement of masks nor signage anywhere visible that said they were taking precautions or following any guidelines of the CDC. Myself and one other customer, out of five people that came in, were wearing masks. I'm not sure if other employees on other days may possibly wear their masks and follow proper guidelines, but today was definitely not the case. Laundry service is good and always has been but I definitely didn't feel too safe and/or assured that the employees and the establishment as a whole was doing their part to stop the spread of this ugly virus. read more

This place is a gem and I'm so happy that it's near by. They'll refer you down the street for alterations, I think it's owned by another family member. They always do a good job at removing hard stains from my the garments. They're glad to receive all your dirty laundry. Stains, they have a magic red tape to tag all stains. My favorite part and the best thing is cleaned by the next day after 4pm which is awesome. 2.25 cash or check. Pay in advance. Make sure to bring back the wire hangers because the recycle the wire hangers. One of my great friends told me about a dry cleaner that charged $1.75 for dresses. Of course I didn't believe it. She took me and it was true! It's located in a building that is in a nice shopping center with plenty of parking. The attendant who took my vintage treasured dresses was very nice and it only took a few minutes to be in and out. You do pay ahead so remember to bring your cash. My favorite thing about them is that your clothes will be ready the next day after 4pm! Good cleaners at a fair price, but you have to pay in advance to get the deal. Actually, that's the only way to pay. They usually have your garments cleaned by the next evening, except for white shirts which get sent out and large items like comforters, area rugs, etc. Easy on street access and friendly counter staff. read more

$1.75 per garment - how do you beat that?! I accidentally spilled some hair oil products on my dress and they were able to get it all out! I will admit I was a bit worried that a place that offers $1.75/garment wouldn't do a great job, but they got it all out! I would've spent 3x the amount elsewhere. The owner (I believe) said they tried three times to get it out. There's a reason this place has great reviews. They do more than expected. Dropped off the dress Monday 11am and the dress was ready for pick up Tuesday after 4pm. I'm going to bring all my clothes here to get dry cleaned! read more

This is a solid establishment. This business has been in La Habra for as long a I can remember. Even though dry cleaners are a dime a dozen Rivera Cleaners prices are unbeatable. The owners are very kind and take great care of your clothing. They always have my clothes ready on time and neatly stacked. The only thing I dislike is that fact that Rivera Cleaners does not accept any items with fur or fur trimmings; aside from this little inconvenience. This is a solid establishment. read more

When I first started taking my cleaning to this location, they did a good job. But now something has changed and the work done is not good. Every time I pick up my clothes there is much to be desired. Sloppy pressing. It's obvious someone doing the pressing just does not care to do a good job. No way to reach the owner either. I would give zero stars if I could. I took a new dress worn only once to them and they steamed the zipper shut and a little tab broke off so would have to get a whole new zipper put in. When I complained I was told that they couldn't help me out. This was told to me by the owners son who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. After visiting again, and getting the owner son again I asked if there was anything that his father would do. He said to leave my name and number and I waited one month and was never called. I have been going TO this cleaners for the last 10 years, today I rushed TO Take my clothes, I was the first one there, they nicely asked me if another customer could go before me, I said Yes, they took forever TO give him his items, then Two ladies showed up and they took Care of them before me!! You can't beat the $1.95 a piece price. The staff is friendly and helpful. If I take a delicate piece they let me know if the are able to do it. Sometimes the suggest for me to take it to another cleaners for a second opinion. I love this place! read more

It's very cheap to get your clothes dry clean here. It only costed $1.95 to dry clean my heavy coat and it took only 1 day. The staffs are friendly. I did notice a bunch of lint on my coat and a strain of long hair that isn't mines. It would be nice if they could use a lint roller after dry cleaning. Ample parking. read more

My boyfriend brought some of our clothes here and we got one of his $40 shirts back with a big black spot on it! It was NOT there when we dropped it off. He pointed it out to them, and they took it back to try and remove the stain. When he went to pick it up again, the spot was still there. He asked them what happened, and they told him the stain was there when we dropped it off. Uh, no. He told them he wanted to be reimbursed for the price of the shirt, and they told him there was nothing they could do and we should wait for a call from their owner. Days later, still no call. Also, one of our jackets came back with a button split into three pieces. What the fuck are they doing back there? Spring the extra 25c per shirt and make sure your clothing isn't destroyed. read more

I've been a customer of this business for many, many years. Recently I had issues with some shirts but my complaints were met with a "nothing I can do" attitude and it was not worth fighting for, they were old shirts, etc. The reason I am posting this review is because of a issue with a new shirt. So I purchased new shirts a couple of weeks ago. Got one of them back with a square on it that looks like a burn mark from the iron. When I first complained, the employee told me that if they could not fix the shirt (how could anyone fix a burn mark) that I would get a claim form. Then on second visit said he was wrong to suggest that I would get a claim form and that the owner said they don't burn shirts. I went back to check on this and I was told again by an employee who took it personal and said "We don't burn shirts". Well, this one must be the only one they have ever burnt in their entire life because every employee tells me the same thing. I understand they are not in the business of burning shirts but anyone can have accidents and I am 100% sure that I did not burn it either because I don't iron my shirts I get them pressed here. An employee also said "we don't even have a machine that could leave a mark like that" then I went ahead and let him know I could actually see a machine back there that could leave such a mark on my shirt... speechless. The shirt was just purchased for about $100 and it seems like they would rather be "right" and lose a long-time customer than admit the mistake and reimburse for the shirt. My family brings so many clothes here that in a couple of weeks they would make their money back. If this issue is not resolved satisfactorily, my family and I will take our business elsewhere. read more
