I Needed a quick trim before I go out of town. I had a busy week prepping and had no time to make an appointment anywhere. I decided to swing by and see if I could get a quick trim. I was greeted very friendly by staff and assisted by Val. She took me and gave me a nice shampoo and asked me what I wanted. She took care and did exactly what I wanted. After a year I decided to give it another try and again different hair dresser cut it too short I don't understand how cutting the ends translates to cutting off half the hair. I also booked with gohar and received someone different. After telling the hair dresser I choose gohar in my appointment she said that I was in the wrong . I showed her my confirmation and still said I was wrong. As someone who typically doesn't feel compelled to leave reviews, even for objectively poor service, this experience truly pushed me to speak up. I deeply regret giving this place a second chance. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here-- both this time and during a visit two years ago. With all due respect, I would not recommend this place to anyone who values clear communication or precise results. It is not worth it. Firstly, the pricing is misleading, and it's clearly a recurring issue with other customers as well given the reviews. The website lists haircuts at $30, but I was charged over $40 in person (both times I went). It's even more upsetting to pay more than expected after such a poor outcome. Despite providing very clear and simple instructions, the stylist failed to follow them. I specifically asked for a light trim--no more than 1 inch off--and to maintain a V-cut style. Instead, she cut off three inches and left my hair uneven on the left and right sides. This isn't even the first time this has happened. Two years ago, I asked for a trim and left with my hair cut to shoulder length, undoing years of growth. It's frustrating that such a recurring issue has not been addressed. read more

I had been seeing Zara for the last few years and she moved away. I went so so long not knowing what to do because I really loved her. Today I saw Nancy/Nazeli and I was nervous because I have really thick long shaggy hair. Nazeli cut and blow dried my hair like it was the easiest thing she ever did. Very annoyed right now. I didn't have an appointment anywhere the other day ,and needed a last minute place that could style my hair for an event.. I disclosed over the phone that I have med-long length hair and extensions, mind you it's only 1 row, my hair isn't crazy thick or long. They quoted me $65 but told me it could be less or more, I agreed. When I finished, I go up to pay and the owner tells the hair dresser to increase it to $150, mind you I was in the chair for maybe 35-40 min, there was no wash or blow dry, and I could of done this myself... the hair style was very bland and I could of done it myself, I was super disappointed but didn't have time to argue or start over. I told the owner I'm not paying $150 for this, maybe $80 which would still be way too much for curls and a little teasing... she acted like she was doing my a favor by dropping it from $150 to $100. At this point I just need to leave so I paid it, but everybody who saw my hair said even $50 would have been too steep for what I got.. I feel scammed. No wonder they always take walkins and are never fully booked. Also makes sense on why Jessica and Mary left . Never coming here again. read more

I made an appointment on Saturday September 7th. I went in, but another customer went in in front of me. She said she was there for a cut no appointment. I said I had an appointment. They asked us to have a set. About 10 min later a stylist asked who was there first. The other customer said she was. The stylist asked for her name and then told her she didn't sign in. I stood up and said, I didn't sign in either, but I have an appointment. She asked for my name and said I wasn't in the system. I told her I had received a confirmation text. She then told me she was going to take the other person first. It upset me,so I told her I was leaving. She said it wouldn't take long, I told her not to worry that it was okay. I believe appointments come before walk-ins or else what's the point of making an appointment. I was there on time. I will not go back. read more

Today I returned for a haircut with Shaima and brought my wife as last time I was pleased for the price. We both asked for the same thing "trim with layers kept long". Under no circumstance was that followed. Our layers are shorter than chin length with gaps all throughout and cut very bluntly. We both cried instantly upon arriving home. My wife has been growing her hair for 4 years and it was very long and healthy, now it looks like an absolute rats nest. My hair is choppy. Our haircuts are so bad that we went to 2 other salons today and both refused to fix our hair as "there was no salvaging". I will not be coming back. We were also overcharged for the haircuts as my haircut was priced as (x-long haircut) and my hair is armpit level at longest. read more

I went to Fantastic Sam's as I needed to find a new place to get my hair cut. Was able to walk right in on a Sunday early afternoon and Nancy cut my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she feathered and layered my entire head of hair and it looked great. When my husband saw me he had tears in his eyes and said "That's the best your hair has looked in a long time". It made me feel so good when he said that. Nancy took great care of me.
