The french toast croissant was probably good, if we had an opportunity to eat it while it was hot. The real insult was that the syrup arrived with a layer of water on the top!!!! Ambiance - why on earth do they need a live DJ playing the music way too load. Maybe it is to distract you from the excruciating long wait :-( Without the DJ, they could another table for 4. Have been coming here for years at their different locations. They have always struggled with timely service. Even from scratch, there is no reason orders any order should take nearly 2 hours. Overall, the food is very good. The owner has ALWAYS struggled with getting orders out timely. If anything it has gotten worse. Would STRONGLY recommend: - getting rid of the DJ - adds nothing to your bottom line and uses space that could generate revenue with a table for 4. - get a qualified restaurant busines consultant to assist with timely processing of orders and efficiently turning over tables. - faster service and bussing of tables could easily result in doubling revenue, just from the turnover - train staff - tables should be cleaned before seating customers, should check in every 15 minutes on requests or other needs. There is a 20% gratuity automatically added ti the bill - yet the waitress had the unmitigated gall to suggest a "cash tip". - STOP cutting corners by taking shortcuts like watering down the syrup. Makes one wonder what else you are doing that diminishes the quality of the food. We have patronized many time over the years and brought friends. Sad to say, can't imagine returning.
