Not sure if I came in on a bad day or something but this was not it. The noodles was tasteless and were soggy. The Alfredo sauce was clumpy and looked more like a gravy than a sauce. The chicken was cooked well but the shrimp made me sick not cooked long enough or there's a temp issue with where it's being stored. The fried rice was more like a seasoned boiled rice and not fried and was tasteless as well. Finally gave Pasta Bowl a try. Several people from work ordered different variations of rice bowls. I chose Chef Tiff's Seafood Fried rice bowl. It has Garlic butter fried rice with shrimp, lobster and scallops, onions optional. The entire bowl has a mild spicy seasoning. The portion size was average. Smaller than expected. Disappointed that my shrimp still had the tails on them so I had to pick them out individually , sort of takes away from enjoying it. Looks like they have tons of options available including pasta selections as well as Lasagna choices. I will go back and choose something different. read more

Wow, The Wood was amazing! From the Fresh ingredients to the creamy texture. The Woods has crab meat, shrimp and scallops in it. It's tossed with spinach and a creamy alfredo sauce. My only suggestion would be to add some additional seasoning, but then again, that could be my preference. I would have loved to taste a hint of old bay...that would have set it off. Relating to the wait, I called my order in and they stated it would take 30 minutes...it took about 45 and it seemed people in the lobby were complaining about the wait as well. Very satisfying and different pasta creations ahead! Pasta Bowl has some seriously good comfort food that include mostly pastas dishes and even some rice bowls too. I've been here on several different occasions and each time is pretty consistent. Parking absolutely sucks, you can either park in front on 6 mile, or on the side street that it sits on, Lindsay. It's not located in the best neighborhood, not terrible but you definitely need to be very aware of your surroundings. This is a carry out only spot, so the inside is small and offers limited seating as you wait for your food, but you can stare into the refrigerated section where all the A-Team Cheesecakes are located. Drool worthy, I guarantee it. A couple of my favs from here include the lobster mac and cheese and "The Wood" that has alfredo sauce spinach, shrimp, scallops and crab. The mac and cheese is always spot on, amazing and cheesy. The Wood is more touch and go it seems. I will say one of their downfalls is sometimes their alfredo sauce is really creamy and flavorful and other times it's watery and just not... But good thing that didn't stop me, and Pasta Bowl had so many other options I still wanted to try. They also carry some of the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life! A-Team Cheesecakes makes, wait for it... Superman... CHEESECAKE! Like Superman ice cream but only in cheesecake form! How brilliant is that?! And it's insane how good it is! Not sure if it was just something I ordered, but this was absolutely the worst pasta I've ever had. I was very agitated that I spent money or this cheap pasta. The only seasoning was on the chicken, the pasta was just boiled regular, the sauce taste similar to a can of Alfredo, and broccoli was overdone. Tried pasta bowl on a weekend out in Detroit. I ordered with Uber eats and the delivery time was pretty decent. I had Chef Dee fried chicken rice, Wanda grilled salmon Alfedo, and the woods seafood overload. Everything except the rice was basically bland. No salt or pepper or anything resembling it. It wasn't bad but it didn't have the best taste. The salmon itself was cooked to perfection but again the pasta sauce and noodles had no taste. The portion sizes were good for the dollar. Heard about the Pasta Bowl from a few people and decided to try it for myself. The photos will make your mouth water with anticipation of what you are about to eat. I couldn't resist the smells of the dishes we got when taking the photos for this review. As I took my first bite I was in love. I have never had pasta with so much flavor and balance of tasty shrimp and vegetables. The other dish we ordered was the lamb chop dish which instantly made the list of great pasta dishes as well. I was a little disappointed about this place. Placed a carry out. (Uber eats) I ordered the Valaise Amare which the spinach was a tad bit over cooked and the entree was very oily. I added mushrooms, peppers, etc and the items were no where to be found in my meal. The flavor wasn't too bad but, I'm not a huge fan. *Warning* entrees contain imitation Krab. The very first time I went to Pasta Bowel the food was very good! The next time I ordered Lamp Chops and Shrimp Pasta. The lamb chops was so small, and they were also extremely salty. Not a fantastic experience. None of our group of four felt good after eating here. The flavor was okay; the food was greasy and not easy to eat. The depth of their menu is amazing. So many types of pasta dishes. And they offer lots of veggies and meats in amazing combination, and you can order extras if your an extremist. It's ok for a quick lunch in the area. Just call ahead and it will be ready in 15 minutes or so. The two pastas I have had; the shrimp alfredo and the cajun crab had very similar sauces. The cajun sauce was just the alfredo with some cajun seasoning on top. The crab was krab and at 14.50 not worth the price. It was actually very fishy. The shrimp alfredo was really good though and the shrimp were nice sized. Maybe some of the dishes are to be avoided. Ive only tried a few of the menus items but I definitely can say try the lamb chops. Its not a place to dine in however you will enjoy your meal somewhere comfortable where you can eat and let loose anyways because the portion sizes is comfort food ready ( you can eat on it a couple times in my opinion) . My bf got shrimp Cajun Alfredo, he said it was to thick and his dad got bbq Mac and cheese he liked it too but it was "pretty good". I hate to do this because the customer service was great and the customers waiting we even nice but the sauce literally tasted like it came straight out a can of Kroger brand Alfredo sauce and the only thing that had seasoning was the shrimp which was chewy.
