I went in with apprehension, most of the Chinese places in the whole area. Don't serve Chinese food like I'm used to. I have the chow mein with pan. Fried noodles was pretty good. It was lacking a little flavor. I had a egg roll with the egg was very unique. I think it was one of the better eggrolls. I've had handmade not a little round one. It was fluffy like a pastry and pretty tasty, that was mistake. I'm supposed to get young so I got young and young usual brown sauce. It was a brown ginger sauce which was really good soup pretty much typical had a great waitress. She buried with me with all my indecisiveness. I'll try something different in service was really good prices reasonable for lunch, nothing beats San Francisco Chinese food

Pros: lunch comes with soup and tea. Cheap. Mysterious veggie noodle sauce is better than expected. Deep fried items extra crispy. Cons: soup is so so. "Crunchy noodles" are more like salad condiments. Red sauce is too sweet and fruity.

    Yes. She's mopping the floor.

I wish you could vote 0 stars on Yelp. This restaurant would been the first '0' for me. I don't even know where to begin. Given it was 9:00PM in Ontario... Should of went fast food, Anyways. I walked in thinking it was going to be a little hidden treasure, looking past the previous helpers, i mean yelpers... It was not. I figured I would order what the waitress suggested. I do that a lot, but here, I figured I would get the best meal they had to offer. I ate half of my meal and actually had to ask the waitress if I could have another Tsingtao after waiting 5 minutes. Maybe it was because she was too busy mopping the floor in front of all the customers, reaching over them to close all the blinds. I couldn't wait to leave also! CHECK PLEASE!! ! !

Owner Liliang Sun operated his restaurant in Council for five years before moving to Cambridge in 2022. He's a one-man band, serving as host, order-taker and cook. The menu isn't extensive but offers a good variety. I ordered Kung Pao chicken while my wife and her friend ordered the general's chicken. The Kung Paolo was ok, but lacking the flavor and heat of the traditional dish. I liked that he added in-season asparagus, even though that's not a traditional ingredient. The dishcame with a choice of white or fried rice. The only diffwas a splash of soy sauce and a bit of scrambled egg. It didn't look fried and lacked green onions, meat and mushrooms. The general's chicken, an American-Chinese invention, was coated with a sweet sauce reminding me of 1960s sweet and sour. Mr. Li is nice and there were a number of customers who came in to eat and took orders to go while we were there. This isn't the greatest Chinese food in the world, but it was ok for three hungry campers.

Like nothing nothing.....100% no exaggeration.... I don't even like telling anyone about this because it's so unbelievable that I feel like nobody will believe me. We said we didn't like the spring rolls and we wanted the egg rolls and the server said that the egg rolls are prepared the same way, to which I replied "oh with nothing in them?" And he just walked away. I can't emphasise enough on the fact that I was served empty fried spring roll shells. No cabbage. No onion. No carrots. No celery. I am not playing around with you folks. Nothing inside.... Nothing. The cashew chicken was only boiled chips of chicken and boiled frozen vegetable medley from the food bank with corn starch thickened water and a few cashews on top. I felt so bad about the food quality and was so embarrassed for the server that I said nothing and left a big tip and left hungry.
