Delicious beef pho! Great warm meal for the winter. I love the market items too, great little spot in Freeland!

We got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and beef pho. Very good, easy online ordering system and adorable items to look at while waiting.

This place is a great addition to Freeland! The inside is clean and appealing, and there are a few cute tables outside too. You order at the counter from a friendly and knowledgeable cashier, and can also order cocktails or pick from the sizable and creatively curated cold storage shelf of alcoholic and NA beverages. We ordered to go as we had our dogs with us and got a tofu banh mi within 15 minutes. The banh mi was everything a banh mi should be. French bread was crispy and soft at the right time. Tofu was also crispy and soft (I'm sending a theme?) and well seasoned - we got the sesame tamari time. I loved the addition of a mushroom pate - with most veggie banh mis you miss that pate texture so it was great to have it here. The rest of the menu looked great too - can't wait to come back!

    Welcome to FARE MARKET

Returned to FARE MARKET in hopes to post a better review. Today is SUNDAY three quarters of the menu was sold out at 4 p.m. We were the only customers arriving at FARE MARKET. Even though we were the only people, we were forced to go to the counter to place our order! Again, we were the sole customers and the staff insisted on giving us a TABLE NUMBER in order to find us to serve our order. From time of order to delivery of food; 45 minutes. Portions are minuscules, barely enough for a snack. Pork Hum Bao is okay but tiny. Pork and rice dish arrived 12 minutes AFTER the Hum Bao! Again, we were the only customers,it seemed odd that our dishes were not delivered at the same time. Six people on staff, cannot understand how FARE MARKET continues to operate, If you are truly hungry; GO ANYWHERE ELSE, several restaurants are near Freeland and will certainly provide faster service.

A friend and I stopped by here while visiting the area. So I was told this was a pan Asian place. I wasn't feeling too hungry so I settled for something light. I ended up having the calamari, spam musubi, and basil lemonade. The lemonade has a unique flavor, I'm not sure what to think of it, but I didn't hate it. For someone who was feeling for something light, both the calamari and musubi did it for me. The calamari was served like fish sticks with spicy sauce and remoulade sauce. I preferred the latter over the former. I liked the simple plain yet modern vibe of this place. There were some cute merch available. Service was pretty decent. Staff was generally friendly. Would recommend if you're looking for something different and unique on this side of the world.

Joan, the owner and chef, is absolutely amazing. She made me feel like a genuine guest in her home rather than just another customer, checking in with such warmth and care throughout the meal. You can tell how much passion and skill she pours into every dish. If you love sushi bowls and sushi rolls, this is an absolute must-visit. Everything came out fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Between the food and Joan's hospitality, this easily earns a 10 out of 10 in my book -- I just wish Yelp let me give more than 5 stars! Can't wait to go back.

The Seared Tuna Bowl tasted sooooo fresh I wish I had more! The ginger dressing really added an extra element of flavor to what was already such a yummy tuna. This was wonderful in both flavor and texture. I also tried their Cantaloupe Spritzer. A refreshing drink that was sweet and bubbly! Service was friendly and I was checked on to make sure everything was satisfying to taste. There's a mix of bar and table seating with nice music playing in the background making this a great stop to chat for lunch or enjoy the garden views if you're taking yourself solo.

The outside is repainted and the inside looked wonderful! It's just tacky to still have the statues outside, but that's okay. Some things just need to stay as is because it's history. We were greeted and got to sit anywhere we wanted. I was there for Pho so that's what I got. The house special. It was so delicious! Also ordered an order of spring rolls and a matcha strawberry latte. All so very delicious. The server was kind and attentive. Checked in on us. We both devoured our meals. I would definitely go back again!

Both were good and flavorful although served in a take out cups. We also ordered chicken wings which were crisp but mostly flavorless and may have taken a second trip in the fryer. Again served in a take out box without plates. The sampler of spring rolls were also lacking flavor and were a bit small on added main ingredient such as shrimp. We finally had to obtain a separate plate to eat off. It seemed that neither owner/operator was friendly and had the wrong demeanor to operate a restaurant. We did not order the hot dogs but someone near us ordered them and they seemed like corn dogs like you buy at the grocery store. Ambiance was clean but somewhat sterile and seemed to lean towards fast food . Parking was plentiful. Try it you may like it....
