Nice atmosphere. The savory crepes lacked flavor and presentation was unattractive. Excellent service.

Not only do I look forward to the gardens right next door but I crave the menu at flower house cafe. I am quite obsessed with the London fogs and the variety of flavored tea bag options they have. I have yet to try a different drink but my man enjoyed their ice caramel latte. But the bakery items is truly where they shine. All of the pastries I have tried have been phenomenal. My top favorite are the peanut brown butter cookie, the almond croissant, the ham and cheese croissant, and the raspberry cheese croissant. Every time I've gone the staff has been very helpful, welcoming, and joyful. The environment is such a vibe and the surrounding plants and water features are the icing on the cake. It can get crowded since it's the place to be! What more can you ask for? Plants, pastries, coffee/tea, and dog friendly!

If you love flowers, plants, and that calm garden feel, this place is definitely worth a stop. It feels peaceful and relaxing in a way that makes you want to stay awhile. The mocha and cookie were just okay for me. Our cookie tasted a little dry and stale, and the mocha leaned too milky. But honestly, the London fog and the whole atmosphere made up for it. The people working there were friendly too. I'd still come back for the vibe alone.

I started with a pineapple margarita which was tasty and had a smoky Tajín rim which was a nice surprise. We indulged in the crab cakes which were very flavorful and crispy with a fantastic remoulade. These were easily my favorite item and I could have eaten 5 more orders. The squeeze of lemon was delightful and brought all the flavors together beautifully. The main dish of seafood risotto was delicious as well and incredibly flavorful. I enjoyed the oil/sauce the meal was served on and every bite was fantastic. My only disappointment was the size of the entrees as they were small portions. The burger was also fantastic although the size was on the smaller side and there were not a lot of potato wedges included. Overall I loved this place and the service was great. The atmosphere was lively as they had live music playing which was a nice touch. I'm excited to try more dishes from this cute little restaurant.

The fresh albacore brioche, rockfish taco with chips, fishwich (fresh fried fish sliders my favorite of all) pork sliders, wedge salad (amazing amount if dressing if you like it drenched), and garlic cheese fries, plus a kids cheeseburger/fries for the little one (which was a decent size) Drinks: Watermelon Mojito and Raspberry Lemoncellio (not on HH but so tasty and flavorful) All three in our group enjoyed ourselves. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. There are signs that say to expect an hour for your visit because everything is freshly prepared. We would've gladly waited an hour because everything tasted well, but we didn't have to. Items came out a good pace. There are two dining areas, the one to the right is bigger called the chandelier room with the bar, dining tables and two restrooms. Callen's is a happy medium - a beautiful view, but a casual, comfortable dining area/bar with great food. There's lots of great seafood options here and classic american salads and sandwiches. Everything is prepared well and feels fresh. The kitchen consistently is a bit slow, although service is attentive throughout. There's a notice on the menu that says to expect slower service - this isn't. 20 minute meal before you get on the ferry - it's a leisurely experience with time to have conversations. It's also very accessible - parking out front, a nice ramp, and three single stall accessible bathrooms!

When we arrived there were a ton of people inside picking up bagels to go, so it did take a while to get our order. They are constantly churning out bagels so if you don't see the flavor you want in stock, it will likely come out a few minutes later. I got the rosemary chive sea salt bagel with egg and sausage, and it was absolutely delicious! The bagel was the most perfect texture ever - a crisp bite on the exterior and a soft doughy middle, perfectly warmed up in the sandwich. The sausage was also super tasty and balanced out the egg well. I can't stop thinking about the texture of these bagels they were that good! Spicy popcorn shrimp and smoked salmon chunks appetizers, and the large front table by the window, were the highlights. To be transparent, my dad loves oysters, and the happy hour oysters were as expected. My son's muscles entree was good - but we had to drain out the sauce from bottom of pot, into the lid of pot, to enjoy the sauce with the cold sourdough bread that came on the side. Sauce was tasty, but overall it was too much work to get to the sauce, and I was disappointed the bread was right out of the bag or not warmed at least. I ordered the Cesar and added salmon. The Cesar dressing was definitely mayo based, but did contain anchovies, so likely homemade, it had potential, but it tasted mostly like mayo. If you don't love mayo, do not get the Cesar. My mom's Louie salad looked pretty boring, and she was disappointed (which is unusual). My son's girlfriend ordered fries and kids butter noodles - kids menu was great!!! Overall the food was just meh. The service was speedy, but our server had little patience for newbies with a couple questions. Since there was an hour way, we ended up at a little restaurant just up the hill, a place with a cocktail sign hanging out front, and their hummus looked homemade amazing. Great choice in beer on tap too. Just saying.
