I've been going to Farm Grill consistently for the last three years. I live nearby, which is convenient, but I would drive out of my way for the value and quality. The owner will shake your hand and is extremely friendly. The staff has always been accommodating and punctual. As far as the food goes, I usually opt for the chicken tawook sandwich or lamb shawarma. Both are excellent and satisfying. The looks of the plaza where it is located will not blow you away, but once you enter the restaurant itself, the decor is neat and cultural. Overall, it's a well run operation and I am happy to have it in my neck of the woods. read more

Both La Vie and Alexandria were closed but had craving for the middle eastern food thus trying this place. Maybe they had an off day given that it was a holiday week but the food was much to be desired. We ordered variety of stuff to try out. The appetizers were bad. Avoid stuffed cabbage (too sour and mushy) and fried cauliflowers were bland and not properly fried (greasiest soggiest mess.) The bread basket brought to the table was cold. We had to ask for the garlic sauce several times after flagging the clueless but sweet server. The lamb entree was fine but the side of the lentil soup was so bland (and Luke warm). The falafels were super dry and rock hard. The dolmas were meh. I could try again if I'm craving for the middle eastern food and there is no other alternative. read more

I have eaten inside a few times but mainly get carry out for lunch. Staff is very friendly and are willing to answers any questions for you. I have been able to find vegan friendly options with their help. My favorite is a Falafel Sandwich with Garlic Sauce instead of Tahini. Turns it into a Shawarma like wrap. I've been ordering here for years, the food is good. Picked up a carry out order and had to wait an additional 50 min plus the 20 I was quoted for the food. The bald guy who takes orders and runs the restaurant is a complete pretentious, asshole. Basically he got my order wrong, and instead of making it right he just shrugged his shoulders. The Restuarant was fine. The food was great the waiter was terrible. It took 20 minutes just to bring the water. Did not take our order for a while. We are wondering when he was going to come back. He walks by and said he hasn't forgot about us. He finally took our order. Maybe 15 minutes he brought my salad not the other one at my table, he brought one hummus but not the other some had soup they got that. I finished my whole salad before 6 people got their dinner. It took at least 30 minutes to get our meal but he only brought it to 6 of us. We had 8 at one table. He served other people when people at our table were waiting for their food. We were putting our food in a to go containers as they were getting their food. Just stupid crazy. We complained to the waiter but it did not help. When we all went up to pay the bill. I went right up to the register just myself to pay and he went around me to get someone else to cash out first, then another came up and he helped them like I was invisible. so I left. it's to bad but I will not be returning read more

I want to give this hometown restaurant a great review and on some orders I could the problem Is they are so inconsistent! Some nights the tabouli is wonderful and full of flavor but on others I seriously have just had barely ground up bitter parsley. Sometimes the chicken is dry others nice and moist and tasty. One thing that is consistent is the rude huge guy that takes orders and gives out tons of negative attitude!! He is such a jerk it has become the reason we don't go as often. He screws up orders and leaves things out. When you drive all the way back to have it corrected he gives you the attitude it is your fault and then says " so what you didn't pay for it". I don't care if I didn't pay for it I ordered it iannd it wasn't there and I had to leave my group and drive back to get someone's dinner you forgot. I don't need the attitude! He was rude over the phone and gave me attitude for no reason then kept up with the same attitude when i got there. He got annoyed because i asked for ketchup for my fries. Then i get in the car and my sandwich is the wrong type of chicken and no ranch like i wanted ... i go back in and they replace it and it was disgusting. Love this place. As soon as I moved back to MI this was the first place I went. It's in the back of a pretty rough looking plaza, but I promise it is worth it. The food is always fresh. My husband found this place and gave it good reviews. I followed his good review and went here on my own for a quick dinner. This place is towards the back of the complex it's in. It's in the complex south of the complex with the CVS and Secretary of State. It's directly next to Burrito King (which is also on my list of things to try). I walked in and the place was mostly empty, but they seemed to be doing brisk business in carry out -- which makes sense for a Thursday eventing. I ordered a chicken Schwarma sandwich and added in tabbouleh because I love it. I only waited a few minutes, but two people came in to pick up their carry out orders and one more person placed one. Like I said, brisk carry out service. I got my sandwich for less than $5 and took it home. The chicken Schwarma sandwich was delicious. Wrapped in a warm, soft pita, the chicken was tender and flavorful. The tabbouleh I added gave it a bit of acidity, and the yogurt sauce in the sandwich gave it a tangy creamy taste. For a little extra zing, there was a pickle wrapped up in it. The pickle was an odd addition, but it actually really worked. The whole sandwich was very delicious. I grabbed a menu to go and they also have all the middle eastern favorites I love: kibbeh, stuffed grape leaves, felafel, lentil soup, etc. I plan on being back! Anyone who gives this place more than 3 stars doesn't know good Mediterranean food. The hot bread was hard, the rice had hard chunks of clumped rice, the lamb with hummus I questioned if it was really lamb. May have been beef but not sure, either way it was dry and flavorless. The hummus also didn't have any flavor. My husband seemed to like his beef shawarma sandwich, but I didn't ask him. There was no one in the place except us and it was around 5:30 pm on a Friday. A group of ppl came in as we were leaving. I've had excellent Mediterranean food all over Dearborn and even had very good food in Brighton. I tried this because it got good reviews. NEGATIVE! Neither fresh nor good. Sorry. Overall it wasn't disgusting but it was nowhere near good. Edible at best. Will never come here again. My family has been coming here for years. For the most part, the food is affordable but quality. I stick to the salads, sandwiches (cheap but filling) and their juices. They can make you a combo juice of different fruits and veggies for cheaper than your typical juice place. I've tried dinners like the ghallaba and that was well done, too. When I have a late workout at the Planet Fitness on the other side of the plaza and I can still get some good food afterwards since they close at 11! Nice service :) read more

Decent place but very busy during lunch time. The waiter today never refilled our water or checked on us. Had to ask him 3 times for carry out boxes and a bag. The table we were at was sticky and questionable if you know what I mean. This is a great place for mediterranean cuisine and probably my favorite place for food in general for the Novi/Wixom border area. I moved out of state for 2 years and found myself longing for this place often. Nice atmosphere that would accommodate larger groups, very friendly waitress/cook, TV, Excellent food. The higher prices for dinner are offset by the relatively cheap prices for lunch. I highly recommend the Starter Combo for an appetizer (incredibly delicious) and lamb or chicken shawarma dinner platter. Just moved back to the area and visited again - it's been remodeled and seems more spacious, still the same friendly waitress/cook and great food. I love this place. read more

First the place needs to be cleaned up. If you're going to have a open kitchen nobody wants to see a uncleaned grill, water leaks and grease everywhere. I usually order the shish kafta which usually has decent flavor. The past two trips however I had hair throughout my food. That's repulsive. I found at least 4 hairs. I will never eat here again! The prices are not worth the food and I usually end up not eating my $20 meal because there's hair in it. Just don't bother coming here it'll just raise your blood pressure read more

The first time I tried it was awful, the restaurant was empty when I had walked in ( usually a bad sign). I had ordered the meat shawarma sandwich and the mushroom appetizer, I had also gotten a plate of hummus. when the food first came in the mushrooms were soaking in oil, the flavor, and the seasoning was disgusting. Also, the mushroom was not fresh, as I expected them to be. they taste like they were right out of a can. my shawarma was tasteless, the weird white dressing was water and did not enhance the experience at all. the actual meat was not seasoned and had a rubber kind of tase. lastly, the hummus, it was not bad, it just tasted as if it was straight out of a can. They have raw juice options which my husband really liked because he is on a juicing fad. In comparison to places like whole foods the juice was really cheap. I believe around 2.75 for a glass. They had many different options to choose from. We got a lunch special. It came with a side salad, rice or fries, and a meat. I choose a chicken option with rice and it was delicious. I came with garlic sauce which was amazing. I bought a large container of it to take home. The menu appeared to have many different options including a large vegetarian section. They forgot the soup that came with the shish tawook entree. The hummus had zero flavor. The pita bread was not the oven baked pita bread as advertised - instead it was the cold flat pita bread you buy from the store. Lastly, the chicken was dry and hard as a rock. The food here is hit or miss depending on what you order. The biggest gripe I have is the cleanliness of the business and their food handling practices. There are plenty of violations going on here. For the area, sure it's decent, but there are plenty of other much better choices for this cuisine outside of the area. read more
