This place is ok at best. It has really dropped since it opened. The service is very inconsistent. Our server was nice, but it took three tries to get our drink order correct. Two people at the table got one refill, but my glass sat empty for over half the meal. (That shows how often she checked on us after the runner gave us our food.) The food is extremely bland. My son had a steak that was a very nice cut of meat, but he had to spice it with salt and pepper to be able to eat it. The menu seems to have gotten smaller, but the prices have gone up. Went to Farm to Fork and ordered Chicken Green Beans and White Beans. Chicken was dry. White beans was nothing but bean juice with no beans. Waitress seemed to think this was okay when I discussed it with her. Serving bowls are small. Went back several times and restaurant has got worse instead of better. This place was conveniently located right next to my hotel and the late night crowd of cars on a Thursday had me intrigued. Went there for dinner on Thursday was crowded but service was still quick and Leanna our waitress was great and the management staff checked on us multiple times sitting on patio. Food was great good selection of items on the menu. Highly recommend the pork nachos they were awesome. At my table we had burger and fries and the brisket plate. Both items were great but not as good as the nachos. Would guess the brisket would have been better as sandwich w the melted cheese which is on the menu. Didn't stick around but they had a band coming on and guessing they have band multiple nights a week and had a full bar with many wines beers and liquors to choose from. Good chance I will be back again for breakfast just to try it but if not that for nachos for sure. After left review clearly yelp has some things wrong they have outdoor seating area not a ton about 8 four tops and they have multiple TVs though none outside. read more

I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars because the waitress was really great and the live band was very entertaining. However I had the crab cakes, loaded mashed potatoes and vegetables medley. The crab cakes had far too much filler in them. It was like eating a jiffy cornbread cake with a little crab meat. The vegetables were boiled and had so much water on my plate that it soaked my crab cakes. And the loaded mashed potatoes were tasty but cost me an extra $1.50 and I had cheddar cheese and sour cream on them. Was coming back to Chattanooga and needed to stop to eat. The location is in a strip mall and is hard to get to without GPS, although they do have signs up as you get closer. This is going to sound weird, but it does have a slight barn smell when you first walk in. Not disgusting or overwhelming, but a unique smell. Maybe it's the woodfire grill?They have a gluten-free menu (regular menu but someone put dots on the stuff GF people can eat). I ordered the loaded chicken breast -- an 8 oz breast with bacon, BBQ sauce and cheese. It was nicely cooked (butterflied) and the sauce was a bit sweet and not smoky. My two sides were the green beans and mashed potatoes. The beans were a bit bland even though there were onions and bacon in them. The potatoes were typical mashed potatoes with skins. The whole meal was less than $12, so not too bad (water - no drink). I'd stop again if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Update 12/1/2018: We heard they changed their management and the service was better, so we stopped by again. I had the Java Coffee Brisket with cole slaw and a salad. The brisket was a bit too salty for my taste, while the cole slaw needed some pepper added to it. The brisket also could have been a little more pink for me and cut a little thicker. My mate had the Old Faithful burger with cheese, ordering it medium well. The burger came out with the perfect amount of pink inside with a little crisp on the outside. The service was much better than the last time we were here, so it is noticeable that they changed something (and we were there during the Georgia - Alabama game, so it was busy!)We will probably come again, mostly because we now live in Ringgold. read more

Our whole table ordered either a sandwich or vegetables, none of which should have taken more than 10 minutes. Food was cold when it reached our table. Asked for the manager 3 different times but never saw one. Instead our server was sent to our table to tell us that the manager didn't have time to come see what the issue was and the meal would be comped so have a good day. It took almost 58 minutes before we served our meals. We were with friends and good conversation distracted us for most of the wait. At least everything was fresh and tasty when it did arrive. I was adventurous and tried the Smoked Java Brisket. There was no coffee seasoning, but rather flavorful and savory tender brisket. The tots I had on the side were decent although a tad pale and the bottoms had soaked up the au jus so you might ask to have them plated separately. The small cheese sauce had a good flavor and the pinto beans were average (not nearly as flavorful as they could be). Service was friendly and refills were prompt. We also stopped by the creamery which was understaffed (the employee at the drive-thru sat on her phone talking to a friend while the employee at the counter struggled to serve the long line of waiting patrons). Delicious food and friendly service. They offer burgers, fancier fare (crab cakes, beef medallions), and specials every day. Or, you can do as I did and create a "vegetable" plate from the many sides they offer... Mac 'n' cheese, turnip greens, potato cakes, beans, creamed corn, etc. The pimiento cheese and chicken salad combo appetizer is delicious! Save room for dessert... lemon, double chocolate, and strawberry cake are all wonderful. We stopped by for lunch today (Saturday). Everything was just okay. I had the grilled cheese, which was more like a club sandwich and the onion rings were non-substantial. My friend's order was put in wrong and she was taking her first bite when I took my last. We were in a group of five and it was not busy. Not mad, just not impressed. Last year they served breakfast and it was awesome! Breakfast is no longer served here. My friend did receive an extra taco for the inconvenience, so that was nice. Went Sunday March 1 2020 for lunch and was thoroughly disappointed! Aside from the TERRIBLE service, was the RIDICULOUS wait time of over an HOUR for our food (3 plates) and not a single apology even after voicing our aggravation to our non-existant server. We watched as 3 other tables that arrived and ordered after us were served and finished their meals before ever receiving ours! This was our first visit to their new location and were excited to eat there, but don't have any desire to EVER spend our hard earned money there again! There is obviously some major managing issues here as NO attention was given to us and other tables that also were waiting an eternity for a meal with their families. I live by this location. And been here twice. Came here first time at night. They have weird hours that arnt clear. The door said they were open until 1030. So i go in at like 9:30. There was no one at the counter. So I walked in and sat myself . Theyre was a bunch of people at the bar. So i thought it was fine. Then a server comes to me and said they were closed. I told her that the door said they closed at 1030. She was like well thats wrong. I asked why the door said that and she walked away. she was very ditzy and weird too. the second time was for breakfast. Came in woth my wife and were sat no problem. I wanted coffee and they said they had switched over to lunch ( this was like 10:30-11am mind you). But the waiter said bed find me some. He comes back like 10 min later with a broken mug with cold coffee in it. I told him could i get a warm cup? He said that wasnt a problem then came back 10 minutes later with a dirty mug and the same cold coffee. The food wasnt rememberable. He was offering a new desert and trying to name it and take pictures to post the website. He gave us the desert for free to try and it was Delicious! This is a follow up to my previous review from last year. I had originally raved about this place but now, not so much. We have eaten at Farm to Fork over 20 times and recommended it to several of our friends. My parents had a bad experience here a few weeks ago so we thought we would give it another go. Unfortunately, we went Saturday night and took some of our friends that had never been. We got our food except our friends didn't. The waitress said they kitchen had messed up their order. They had to wait 5-10 minutes to have their food brought out. Three of us ordered steaks, none were seasoned. This was a first, 9 out of 10 times we order steaks and had never experienced this. My wife's steak was rare, she ordered medium. She had to send it back to get fixed. The mashed sweet potatoes (which are my favorite side) tasted like it had been watered down. Barely even eatable. Our friends ordered a fruit up, which consisted of cantaloupe only. I thought fruit cup meant a variety of fruit? Just saddens me that our favorite restaurant could go down this fast. We have had a few bad experiences the last few times we have went with long waits to order, ect, but figured it was just because of the transition with new owners and new staff. I will note that the waitress was exceptional; she was very attentive and apologetic the entire time. She did offer us a free slice of cake. Also, the food prices have increased by 20%. I understand costs go up but some of the pricing on the menu doesn't even make sense. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, now they only give you four and they are $6.50. Fried greed tomatoes are offered as a vegetable side, you can get two for $2.50. So I could've ordered two sides of those for $1.50 less or even better ordered a vegetable plate at $5.95 for 3 sides of fried tomatoes. Unfortunately, I didn't expect them to give me less for more money so I didn't think to just order a few sides of tomatoes. I understand people have to make money, I don't mind paying for good food and good service. I just hate to see food prices go up and food quality and service go down. I doubt we will be back and I won't be able to recommend this to my friends and family any more. read more

Music is way to loud to even carry on a conversation. Great for people that don't like to talk to each other or BBQ sandwich was completely soggy. Took 15 minutes to get the waitress back and then took 10 more minutes to get another bun for the BBQ. I had to wait another 15 minutes just to get the. Check. My wife and I tried this place based on all the positive reviews. It is a no frills restaurant tucked away in the corner of a strip mall next to the highway but it was bigger than it looked from the outside. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. So it was crowded with people coming from church. Due to the Sunday crowd we waited for around 45 minutes to get our food. I had the hand breaded chicken tenders with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and my wife had the beef medallions with fried green tomatoes and mac and cheese. My chicken tenders were the biggest chucks of chicken I've ever seen used for this purpose and plump and juicy. Honey mustard sauce was served on the side. My wife's beef medallions were also two big chucks of meat. Very flavorful but I'd say a little on the tough side. Everything was freshly made...farm to fork...as the name states and I could taste it. All in all it was simple southern style cooking and delicious. read more

Skip the other options along the highway and eat in this charming, tasty and yummy cafe -- your taste buds will thank you! They have a menu and a chalkboard with daily specials. The options a southern with a healthy, fresh twist. Ask your waitress/waiter for suggestions if you can't narrow your options down. During my lunch visit, I feasted on the special beef vegetable soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. It came with corn bread (homemade and fabulous). I ordered a side of grilled asparagus - not because I was extra hungry but it was the beginning of asparagus season and they were super fresh and yummy. I wish Farm to Fork was closer to home cuz I'd eat here more often and I could rave about the decedent looking desserts. Other pluses: clean bathrooms, easy parking and friendly staff. read more

What a great surprise! We had tried Farm to Fork a few years back at its old location and were not impressed. In fact, I thought it was terrible. So when we were out today and my wife suggested Farm to Fork for lunch I probably groaned audibly. She wanted to try it so I begrudgingly went along. From the road, the new building looks sort of prefabbed and nothing special. The front of the building actually faces away from Highway 2A. Pulling up front I was surprised by the nice building with outdoor seating and a nice decorative fire pit. Once inside, the hostess gave us a sincere welcoming and promptly sat us. The dining room is quite spacious with a cool open bar and lots of TVs. There are gigantic black and white historical prohibition photos high up on the walls. In one corner there is a stage where they have bands and karaoke. After we had sat down in our booth a server pretty quickly checked in and let us know our server would be along shortly. Talk about team work--even though it wasn't her table she made sure we did not feel ignored. Our server arrived promptly and walked us through an introduction to Farm to Fork. She was not only knowledgeable but also a great ambassador for the restaurant. Her name was Chasity or Cassidy or something like that--ugh I am horrible with names. We ordered fried mushrooms with horseradish dipping sauce. The mushrooms were delivered with a basket of fresh rolls and cornbread muffins. The mushrooms were awesome. The breading was delicious and they were perfectly fried and not greasy. I am generally not a big bread eater but the rolls were very good and the cornbread muffins were slightly sweet and very tasty. My wife ordered a vegetable plate. One of her items was a baked potato and it was perfect. Stay with me here. Yes, lots of places serve baked potatoes but this one was great. The potato was cooked to perfection and served with real sour cream not "sour topping". It was as good as homemade. I chose the mahi mahi tacos with a lemon garlic aioli sauce. Oh my gosh, they were an oral delight. Definitely would have them again. One word of caution: a lot of their items are smoked so if that is not you thing be careful what you select. Even my wife's pinto beans had a smoked taste. My mahi mahi also tasted slightly smoked but it was really good. I will definitely be back! read more

Had to stay overnight in Ringgold GA. Farm to Fork was basically in the parking lot of the hotel I was at, and it was raining so who wants to drive to dinner alone in the rain, so I stepped inside. OH SO GLAD THAT I DID. The service was quick, very friendly, and professional. Christy was awesome. I don't believe I was sitting at the table for more than 2 minutes before my drink order was taken, and maybe another 3 or 4 minutes before my order was taken (most of this time was my fault trying to decide what to eat). I wasn't that hungry so I went with one of their many sandwiches, the Cajun Chicken Philly with fries. A few short minutes later and it was already on the table. It was considerably larger than I expected so I considered cutting it in half and taking half back to the hotel for later......but then I tasted it. Chicken, loaded with onions and peppers and cheese. Absolutely delicious! Not to mention that I'm pretty sure this is the FIRST AND ONLY time I've ever ordered anything from any restaurant menu that had the word "cajun" in it that actually contained enough spice to be considered "cajun". There was enough heat to slightly loosen my sinuses a few minutes later. I would become a regular visitor to Farm to Fork if I lived anywhere nearby. read more
