Dinner service was great in that we were sat almost immediately after arriving on a Friday night. Our servers got switched at the last minute, but it turned out to be a great switch. Service was efficient and accommodating. We have a family member with a shellfish allergy; it should be noted that this location does NOT differentiate their fryers between shellfish and non shellfish items. First our server, Hannah, was a delight! She tried her best to get me what I wanted regarding my steak. ( I bet the restaurant would love to clone her) Sadly my steak came out too cooked for per my request, Hannah caught it. She was ready to take it back. Because I like my steaks "mooing & walking off my plate"..... No lines at all. What I got was not even their 'Rare' , it was pink (not "cool red center) it clearly sat on the warming shelf too long. The side of Blue Cheese was on my steak , and melted so much that I thought it was a 'cream sauce'. Thus it was clear it sat and continued to cook under the warming lights. Because we had someplace to get to, and HH (hungry hubby) had his food I went ahead and ate the steak. It was tasty though not the rarest I wanted. (The stars could have been 5 had it was what I requested) HH had a burger and he really enjoyed it! The salad before was a big size and with the burger had had a loaded baked potato. (Oh, I had a sweet potato side that was very good) We spoke to the very nice Manager (John) and though he wanted to comp us the steak I said no, because I did eat it and didn't send it back because HH has his food and we had to get to an event. My daughter and I decided to treat ourselves after a long day this past Monday night. We've eaten here a few times and have only had positive things to say about the food, service...everything. This time, however, I was really disappointed. We ordered both of our steaks medium. My daughters was perfect. Mine was well done. Not even a little pink. This is a big no for me so I told the waitress who apologized and immediately took it away. It took so long to get the replacement steak that by the time I got it, my daughter had already finished her meal and was ready to go. The restaurant wasn't even a little busy so I'm not sure why it took so long. After so long, my waitress asked me if I just wanted it boxed up to go. I said yes. By this time, I was not happy at all. She brought me our ticket and I was thinking they'd offer at least to compensate in some way for such a terrible experience but nope...nothing. I'm not one who likes to complain. I'd been a waitress back in the day and I know how things can go and things happen...so I have a lot of room for forgiveness. To make a guest wait so long after a botched order is never okay and the least they could've done was to offer to compensate in some way. I don't feel this is the fault of the waitress so we still tipped her well. Just a heads up if your meal isn't what you ordered. You may want to ask for management. read more

Prices are affordable for a chain steakhouse. If you don't like steak, the menu includes options chicken, pork ribs, pork chops, fish - salmon and many more tasty options. This is our "go to" steakhouse for an early dinner! Restaurant is new and clean. The service is very good and they have a full bar! I get the Flo's filet or the top sirloin. They are always cooked it to perfection and with a loaded baked potato and salad with house made blue cheese dressing you won't be able to order dessert. I would suggest you try to get there before 5:30 (as the place is a bit smaller than others I've been to) and fills up quickly. read more

New location for this area. Hopefully they are getting out the kinks. We had to sit at the bar, no tables with a 2 hour wait. Food took a long time to come out. I love Longhorn but got there at 6pm on a Friday night & was quoted an hour & forty five minute wait. I wouldn't wait that long for resturant, even if Elvis were walking around serenading while I ate. I'll try again when the newness wears off. read more

There isn't anything good to say about this restaurant other than the spinach dip. I tried to add us to the wait list online, but you can only do that if you have four people or less. Then I called, and you can only do that with five people or less. The restaurant says it opens at 11am, but we were there in line and walked in the door at 11:03am; people already had salads and bread. Our waiter was very nice, but never refilled our drinks once. Someone from our table actually got up and got a pitcher of water to refill our drinks. Our steaks were overcooked. We all ordered medium and could have hammered a nail with them. We didn't get a kids menu, although we had two kids. Only two of our four salads came with the right salad dressing. Our two kids ended up on chairs at the end of a booth. I'm not sure how six people are set at a four person booth. We had to move one of our kids out of the way that was in a high chair to let the people beside us out of their booth. Go down to Dalton, they have it much better together. read more

We went to the Gunbarrel Rd location tonight and had a horrible experience. The women's restroom was filthy: backed up toilets, toilet paper in the floor, no paper towels. Our waiter could not give us drinks when we arrived because there were no clean glasses. There was a whole contact lens on top of my salad. The waiter could not locate the manager. We waited for sometime for the manager to come to the table and he never did. The staff had no idea where he was. We ended up leaving before we got our entrees. Our first time at the new Longhorn on Gunbarrell Road. The food was delicious! The service was outstanding! Really enjoyable evening.

They are unable to handle large parties without breaking them up. POLICY prevents them from putting tables together (though when almost all your seating is booths, it's hard to have enough tables). That alone is enough to warrant ZERO stars. I expect the food and service to be standard LongHorn. But their inability/unwillingness to accommodate a party of eight together is enough not to come back there with a family group. read more

Excellent food and service. They have the best filet in town. Flo's filet. I think I could eat it every day. Also they save a "Wild West Shrimp" appetizer that I get for lunch with either a side salad or baked potato. It is very tasty as it has peppers cooked with it and a ranch dipping sauce. My wife and I decided to go to lunch at Longhorn on Gunbarrell Road after church.today. We arrived around 1:15 and only had to wait a short time before being seated. Our server, Lauren, was exceptional. She was friendly, professional and very attentive. My wife and I split a ribeye, had salads and baked potatoes. My first experience & was horrible. Found A hair in my salad, poor customer service. My meat Was very rare b/c he never asked how I'd like it & by the time I got it back it was closing time.
