Such GOOD Southern fair! My wife and I shared some pimento cheese and tots. It looked smaller then it was but I could not be more wrong. We could not finish it; I wish I could have eaten it all it was so dat gum good. Summer was our server and was a pleasure. She took care of us incredibly well, offered suggestions, and told us about the history of the restaurant, the owner, the story, and anything else we wanted to know! Our entrees were crab cakes and hamburger steak. They were good; however the real stars were the vegetables. I had green beans and potato without gravy, but they were like REAL potatoes. I don't know if I can make it come across how homemade they seemed. My wife had spinach and fried cabbage. She loved them. We both agreed to get a vegetable plate next time because they were THAT good. Good food for a very fair price. If you order an appetizer and/or dessert, you WILL pay over 30 something bucks for it. Heard some good things about this place and it didn't disappoint. Pretty nice set up with the eating spaces, TVs, bar and stage. Food was a bit slow in coming out but we weren't in a hurry anyway. Every thing was very fresh and cooked just right. Great variety to select from. Sharp plastic in the banana pudding! Was excited to try this restaurant. Thought it would be more organic, truly farm fresh food. Turned out to be more old school southern cooking--lots of fried food and overcooked vegetables. We were ok with that and having a good meal until we found a sharp piece of plastic in the banana pudding. The manager came over to apologize, explained a container had broken, etc. When we got the bill, the banana pudding ($5) was still on it. Was pretty incredulous and they did take it off after I asked. Great service (super sweet waitress), ok food, overpriced deserts (my piece of chocolate cake was $6 and was pretty taste-less and cold). Upon walking in it was a lack luster greeting....as if I disturbed their leaning on the counter. Since I wanted my order to go, I meandered over to the bar to make my order. I love this place! Everyone was very friendly. I was there on a very busy Friday night, and we were told there would be a 25 minute wait, but we didn't have to wait that long. Today was our first visit. For some reason, based on word of mouth, it wasn't really what I expected. I've heard they are building a new location, and I'm excited to see what that will be all about. The theme of the restaurant verses the first impression doesn't fit, as it is now. The inside is cute, still not "farmy" or rustic like I imagined. Also, needs a little work in maintaining cleanliness. Our waitress was good. Never ran low on drinks and brought everything with a smile. Again, the environment and dry personality of the staff just didn't seem to have that "southern charm" I was expecting. But still, service was good. The food was great. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. My grand slam grilled cheese was delicious. My family all enjoyed theirs, as well. I also like that there's so many different choices. No complaints at all with the food. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and trying something different. Overall, though we had no real complaints, I just don't feel a 5 star review. We came to GA to visit family and everyone raved about this place. On our last night in town we finally decided to stop by and it was even better than we'd been led to believe. The wait staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were enjoying the experience. There was a live band playing on one side of the restaurant, there was a wall so that we could have some peace and quiet, but we could still hear the band and they were lovely. I ordered the black and bleu burger and it was absolutely mouth watering. I hope that we get the chance to come visit again because we will definitely be eating here. read more

Smoked meats. Every meat including meatloafs, burgers, & steaks are smoked. So if you don't like a heavy string smoke flavor to your food, just go somewhere else. I like smoke flavor but, this was just too much. I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich, very smoked & extra thin sliced & lots of bread. The bread/roll was excellent but could have used either more meat or a thicker cut. I ordered the fried picked & they are Spears not chips which are good but the breading falls off after the first bite. My husband ordered the Sirloin. It was pretty chewy & tough, and had this weird reddish/pink like a smoke ring look to the outside not the inside. Not sure it is was smoke or a colored marinade. Either way it was very Smokey flavored. The Mac & cheese was ziti noodle soup (white milk liquid w/ ziti footing in it) & unmelted shredded cheese. We both had tots. My tots were great just like Sonic!!!!! Like the exact kind! My husband had tots but later said he was sick. The next morning I have the left overs and had his left over tots and got sick. Some type of cross contamination going on. The waitress was 10/10!!! Just wish the food was going to be great because of the reviews. Service was fine BUT I ordered meatloaf...instead of the traditional meat, it looked and tasted like some type of processed meat. Very much like the consistency of spam. I ordered the half chicken and waffles for 8 dollars and got an undercooked waffle with two measley chicken strips. I wouldn't have minded the meal being overpriced if it had actually been tasty. Went in on a quiet Monday morning. The place looks like a modern diner. We ordered a veggie platter, eggs benedict, chocolate chip pancakes and a waffle. The veggie platter (eggs basically) comes with two sides- I asked for fruit and sweet potato hash. But the menu and waitresses failed to mention the hash are half sweet potatoes half sausage... and they are also one dollar extra, again not mentioned anywhere. Waffle was bland (from a box?), eggs benedict ok and pancakes relatively better. No espresso machine. Just your ordinary diner, nothing too fresh/exciting, waited quite a while for food considering we were almost alone there. Menu items are not the item they claim to be....... never seen a royal red shrimp so small....... makes you wonder if they are actually royal red shrimp. I feel like I need to say that this is the first review I've ever written in my entire life. I like to read restaurant reviews but until now I've never been compelled to actually write a review. Anyway, so today was my second time dining at Farm to Fork. My first visit was about 6 weeks ago and it was great, 4 stars for sure. Now today's lunch was a completely different experience. We came in around 1 just 3 of us and were seated immediately. Our server was courteous and took our order right away, no problems. We ordered a sirloin steak, medium rare, grilled chicken and a kid's hamburger. Now here's where things started to fall apart, the food was taking an unusually long time to come out and after about 35 minutes out server informed us that our meals would be out shortly. Apparently a large party came in right before us so the kitchen was running behind, no big deal. About another 10 minutes goes by and she comes by again and tells us it's coming out soon. Around 10 minutes later our food finally comes out and we're starving at this point. At first glance the food looks okay but once we start eating we all notice that our meals are totally cold. I don't know what happened in the kitchen but it's obvious that the food sat a long time before making it's way to our table. The steak that was supposed to be medium rare was medium well and dried out. The grilled chicken was flavorless and dry as well. All of the sides were cold. I was so hungry so I ate some of my cold vegetables and a few bites of chicken and when the server came by to check on us I was hesitant to complain but I did tell her everything was cold. She offered to remake everything but at this point we had been there so long with an antsy kid I just wanted to leave. She said she would send the manager over and I don't want to be that lady but our meal was so terrible I said okay. Another 10 to 15 minutes goes by and we're just sitting there waiting for the manager. I'll add that I only ate about a quarter of my cold dry chicken and half of my cold vegetables and my partner and child ate about half of their cold meals. So finally the server comes back by with the check in her hand and tells us that she's sorry that she can't comp or discount the check (I never asked) but her manger (that never bothered to come to our table) wanted us to have a $25 gift card for our next visit. Say what? Next time? Why the heck would I want to come back? Seriously a gift card for next time? How about an actual manager come by our table and apologize and give us a little discount on the terrible meal they just served up. I don't expect a free meal but a gift card expecting me to return and spend more money is kinda insulting and I have low expectations. I'm a nice person and I used to be a server a million years ago so I don't blame our server for what happened today. We didn't complain about the gift card and we tipped our server the basic 20% but I definitely would never step foot back in that restaurant. It's a shame because the first time was so good. Obviously this restaurant is suffering from issues with management. I gave it 2 stars just because our server was nice and seemed liked she was doing her best and the guitar player was cool. read more

Our food was delicious, the shrimp tacos were better than a seafood restaurant in Key West we visited recently, the steak was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection, the onion rings may have been the best we have ever had - so good, taste was not an issue. But, but service, though quick and polite it was forgetful. Everyone ordered drinks and five to ten minutes after they all got their beverages we had to ask where the beer was, (yes, that same beer out server had talked up and even brought a sample of). Our salad and onion rings arrived without cutlery, eventually we tagged Brittany (our server) and they came (with one set that may have come off another table, with a big chunk of someones past dinner attached!) The wings we ordered, we were told were delicious and could come with buffalo sauce or dry rub, and will have to take that as fact. We never got our order, evidently the hen flew the coop. Speaking of fleeing the coop, we followed the traffic flow around the back and bottled our dually pickup at a thing they built and had a time passing the restaurants vehicle with the Farm to Fork logo. We would have given this place, even though big a five star rating if we had tasted the wings and sipped the cold beer, which was thirst quenching just a little sooner. We would go back. read more

After looking at the menu, and seeing mostly bar-type, American pub style food, I asked the server what made this a "farm-to-table" restaurant. He said, I quote "we smoke our own meat." ????? Well, I'll be. Farm To Fork in little-old Ringgold knows how to crank out a menu -- replete with fried pickles, mind you. Where I was a bit skeptical of the locale, the charm of the interior and friendliness of the staff totally made up for any mistrust. The menu is relatively straightforward and extensive. Average pricepoint is fair and nothing outside of the realm of expected lunch prices. Burgers seem to reign supreme and my colleagues seemed to tremendously enjoy theirs. I went a different route and ordered the Steak Philly. Not a overwhelming size, which I appreciated, and it was on-par with just about every other Philly I've had in my life. The fried pickles were excellent. It was nice to see spears instead of the typical pickle chips. Nice amount of breading and the pickles themselves were fantastic. The fried mushrooms? Notsomuch. I wouldn't order them again based off of the inconsistencies in texture and number-of-mushrooms-to-fried-bits ratio. No harm, though. The one criticism I have is that the staff did seem a bit cavalier, but they were having fun and everyone seemed to have full glasses and their food was brought on-time. Should I find myself in Ringgold again in the near future, I'd totally revisit Farm To Fork in a swift heartbeat. read more

I've been here a few times with mixed results. The food is usually very good, but the prices are a bit inflated. The spicy peach wings are just how they sound, a little sweet and a little spicy. I enjoy them very much. 6 wings $10. My favorite item is the Salmon BLT. Wow what a delicious sandwich! It comes with a fried green tomato on it and it's a great combination of flavors and textures. Tried a pizza one time, but it was mediocre. The crust wasn't crispy in the middle of the pie so it required a fork to eat. It wasn't terrible, but I've definitely had better wood fired pizza before. The most disappointing time was a recent attempt at brunch. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Let me start by saying the chicken fingers on it were delicious. That was the only good part. The waffle did not taste like it was just made. It was not crispy and barely warm. It also came out before we even got our coffee, like it was pre made and waiting to go out when someone ordered one. The menu states that it comes with cinnamon butter, but that is not the case. I asked just to get some cinnamon and was told they don't have any cinnamon in the restaurant . Then it comes to the coffee. I asked for an iced coffee with almond milk instead of cream. The waitress listed a few different flavors to choose from, and I chose caramel. It's definitely not cold brew coffee. It's coffee poured over ice. They charged me $1.50 extra for the splash of almond milk, and another $0.50 for the caramel syrup, which wasn't mentioned when she listed the flavors. Ended up paying $4 for a coffee in a cup of ice. Hugely underwhelming. I won't return for brunch anymore. They have music at various times and it's fun to sit at the bar and listen.
