Consistently great food at a decent price point for the region. It's the ONLY place I will eat chicken tenders or fish and chips, as I'm super picky about meat. Everything tastes like it was cooked fresh and not frozen. The onion rings are some of the best I've ever had. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal here!!! Service is also great, although it is helpful to remember that servers are hard to come by for even the very best restaurants, and this one is never lacking for customers. They hustle and do their best to keep you informed when there's a delay on your food, which is more than most restaurants are doing these days. We spent the night in Ringgold on our return trip to Chicago from Florida last Saturday. The Farm to Fork restaurant is very convenient to both the Hilton and Marriott properties that are within walking distance from the hotels. Their reviews looked good and we were looking forward to dinner at F to F. Sadly, the restaurant fell far short of the reviews for us. Consider the following: 1. Farm to Fork ran out of Onion Rings on Saturday night at 6:00 PM. Not a big deal, but if you have a taste for Onion Rings...it is a big deal! Better inventory control in the kitchen would be a good solution. 2. After placing our order, the extended wait for delivery of our dinner began...25 minutes later, we were told that our dinners would be "right out"...another 10 minutes and our orders were "right out" (35 minutes is a bit long to wait for your dinner). Here is a benchmark: 10-15 minutes = Excellent 15-20 minutes = Borderline 20-25 minutes = "Did they forget our order? Everybody else around us is getting theirs." +25 minutes = "Why did we come here?" 3. My wife began to enjoy her dinner (scallops and steak), but since my utensil kit only included a napkin and a fork (no knife), I had no way to begin eating my Open Face Prime Rib House Special. After repeated requests for a knife, I figured it best to eat what I could with my fork (Mac/Cheese and mashed potatoes) and borrow my wife's knife when she wasn't using it. Midway through the dinner a knife was presented to me. I am normally big on extending compliments when I dine out and only in the most extreme case do I post a negative comment on Yelp (perhaps 2 prior to this one). I've worked in the restaurant business and understand it. I am more likely to show sympathy than criticism...it's fun, but it can also be a grind, especially on a busy Saturday night. I left a note outlining all of the above along with my name and phone number for the manager/franchise owner. Thia place was a pleasant surprise. The food selection is diverse. The waitstaff is great and the food was spot on. The burgers are the bomb (I have eaten here twice in the past month). I just happened to stop at this exit for gas on my way back to Atlanta. When I walked in, it was 15 minutes before they closed; but the hostess said I could still order to-go at the bar. I ordered the BBQ meatloaf with grilled squash and fried okra. Everything was good and high quality, even though it was the last meal they prepared for the day. This was our second time going and will be our last. We waited for 45 minutes on a wait list; which was to be expected on a Saturday night. Then we waited another 20 minutes before I flagged down a server and told him we had not been waited on yet. He very graciously picked our table up since "the new" guy missed us. He took our order and we waited another 25 minutes before getting our meal. While waiting I observed around 10-12 servers going in and out of the kitchen...most of the time empty handed. So it was not a staffing on servers issue... The food, no worth a TWO hour wait! Quality wise it is in line with Cracker Barrel. Certainly not worth the price or wait. read more

Great locally owned restaurant! We had wings and fish (cod) tacos. Very tasty! We were especially happy to see Coca-Cola products on the menu-Diet Coke is our beverage of choice. Staff handling food with bare hands and just generally unconcerned. Shrimp cooked until it was the consistency of tire rubber and generally just disappointing. Notified the manager who offered a refund. Fine. I understand temporary mistakes. Two weeks pass. No refund. Called back. Manager stated that sometimes it takes two weeks to process. Fine. I understand credit card companies and policies. That was January 3. Still no refund. Still no follow up. I'm usually hesitant to leave bad feedback but in this case I'll make an exception. Not friendly and Poor management. Power went out and Resturant filled with somke from their smoker. People had to leave unable to stand the smoke. Manager told everyone to give her their credit card numbers and she would run them later, she insisted to pay full price to food you were not able to eat, if you did not have enough cash, she wanted you to wait in the darkness and smoke. If you are a local then I recommend it for the food. I had a great Mahi Mahi. Fantastic. The sautéed cabbage had sooooo much bacon which I was not expecting since the menu did not elaborate. The banana pudding dessert rocked! It was thick and served on 'Nilla wafers! Five southern stars for the food. Service was a three at best. Atmosphere was a two for me. Since I was traveling, and staying at a nearby hotel, I tried to engage the server and asked her to tell me about the place. She looked like a dear caught in the headlights of a 16 wheeler. So I said "Farm to Fork" the history or concept? She replied "yeah, it is." Now I didn't need a a white paper on it but some enthusiasm and engagement would have been appreciated. And they forgot half my order (I was not going back to get same). I highly recommend you find you another place to eat. read more

I've eaten there three times; the food is good, and the prices are what you would expect to pay. But, they are constantly apologizing for the slowness of their kitchen. Because they are very slow, and today, I noticed they snuck an additional charge on my bill. The additional charge was for using a credit card. I know of no other restaurants that do this, at least not in North Georgia. I won't go back due to the way they snuck the additional charge onto the bill. read more

4 adults and 2 kids showed up at 10:50am. The doors to the restaurant were open so we went in. We were greeted by a sweet waitress when I asked what time they open. She stated they start serving at 11. At that moment a women came bounding in to let us know they were in fact not open. When I asked if we could wait at a table until they were ready she answered with a "No ma'am you can't" and was ushering us out the door where she immediately locked it when we all got out. We all looked at each other in amazement. This was Tuesday, October 1st. Not sure what problem she had that morning but I wanted to let her know she missed out on at least a $100 lunch bill and we are very good tippers as we were all servers at one time. We went to a nearby Mexican restaurant that didn't open until 11 but sat us immediately and we enjoyed our lunch. We ate their once before and I believe it was breakfast so that's why I assumed it was open. Needless to say, we will never go back and I feel sorry for anyone who works for her. read more

Good American eats! Big restaurant with a big menu. There's something for everybody - burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, steaks, and seafood. Plus, good beer and a fine whiskey selection. I came in for lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich. Tender pork topped with slaw and a sweet and smoky bbq sauce. Perfection between buns. Excellent service. Dylan is the man! This was a big disappointment. The name made it sound so fresh and vegetal, and being in the south, that is expected anyway. My daughter ordered the wood fired pizza, She ate half a slice and declared it a frozen pizza possibly cooked in a wood fired oven. I ordered the prime rib open face sandwich. It came on 2 slices of Texas toast with only enough meat for 1/2 a slice. There was hardly any gravy which it desperately needed because the meat was tough and loaded with grizzle. The mashed potatoes were good and the cole slaw was acceptable. The place was packed so it may be a local favorite but it was also located by several motels so it was close and convenient for travelers. I say head to Ft. Oglethorpe where there is a good selection of known restaurants where you know what to expect. Overpriced for the quality. read more

Call ahead order for pick up: I came here on a Saturday to get my call in order before going to the races. The owner races cars at the track just by coincidence I just heard. I describe this as an up scale country restaurant. Unbelievably I was their only customer but I think it was because it is so close to the track and I came here mid day. menu items ordered: Grilled corn, green beans and country fried steak. It was very good and was so delicious while I was watching the drag races. Now, for some reason, I have become very interested in going to races all over the South. What I learned? Unfortunately this establishment disappointed us during a recent visit. While traveling through Georgia over the past several weeks, this was a let down. We stayed at a hotel nearby and walked to the restaurant. While we understand the struggle with Reopening and operating during COVID-19, the lack of cleaning was shocking. We should have turned around at that point. We did order dinner togo. The orders were wrong and no utensils were invluded. The inattentive non-mask wearing staff did not take, deliver, or package our order appropriately or corectly. However, we did overhear all the gossip on who is irritated at who among the staff who work there. Overall, disappointing and will be stopping there on future visits through. read more

While in Ringgold, GA on business, Farm to Fork was across the street from my hotel (the only other restaurants within 10 minutes of my hotel were fast-food chains). I ate there 4 nights (due to convenience). Interesting place- the bar and restaurant sections are like 2 different worlds. I only ate in the restaurant section 1 night because I had a bit of work to do and needed to spread out- I was easily 20 years younger than everyone else in there (&! I'm no spring chicken). However, the bar side is quite lively (not at all a bad thing) so it wasn't conducive to getting work done. With that said- great food (though one night I got the pulled pork platter and it was lukewarm) so I made sure to bring just a little bit of work that I could finish up. We were at Home Depot in Fort Oglethorpe and decided to grab something to eat. I checked the Yelp app for restaurants near me and Farm to Fork came up! I had never heard of this place but the pics of the food looked great! When we arrived, the ladies up front were so welcoming and polite! It was me, my husband, and two boys and we were seated immediately! When we got to our table, our waitress followed shortly after! We ordered the wings for an appetizer with Tai chili, sweet peach, and bbq sauce on the side! The wings were cooked to perfection & the sauces just put the sprinkles on top!!! I ordered the loaded BBQ chicken with a loaded potato cake and greens, my sons ordered the Java Brisket Tacos and the chicken strip plate & my husband ordered the smoked chicken tacos! All of them were great (i know because i tasted everyone's food lol). The boys later ordered milkshakes which were massive! But they too were delicious! I'll def be back to this spot!! read more

I want to give 5 stars but I have not always had a positive experience. It TOTALLY depends on your server. I have gone and had an amazing server who was attentive and made sure our experience was great, but I have also gone and felt like I was ignored the entire time. Salads were totally forgotten, sides wrong, no refills on drinks. The manager did offer a free appetizer to make up for it, so great customer service there. The atmosphere is alright. Where do I start? The host up front was very irritated to have customers coming in. Every time someone would come up to his podium he would sigh and act very rude. We've been here before and each time we get a little more disappointed than before. I ordered the vegetable plate. The menu says pick 4 veggies $9.5. What they don't tell you on the menu is there is an upcharge for a lot of those items. Salad and loaded mashed potatoes. Be careful what you order. My pinto beans were meh. But the fried green tomatoes were VERY DISAPPOINTING. They were too hard to cut with a fork. They were also not done on the inside because the breading was still raw in places. My husband ordered smoked wings. When they came out the fries he ordered were hot. But the wings were cold and greasy. We paid $35 plus generous tip for fries that were hot. The rest wasn't really good. I left most of mine on my plate. Just be careful what you order or your 9.5 veggie plate will end up being 15! read more

Surprisingly great restaurant if you're headed to or from Atlanta on I-75. It's right off the interstate, but it's a little tricky to get to, so follow the signs. They have an extensive menu of everything from sandwiches, to salads, to entrees like grilled salmon. I had a salmon salad, which was great other than the sweetened strawberries on it. Just fresh berries, please. I'll be sure to specify next time. They had lots of milkshakes, if that's your thing. I also saw a full bar in the other room. We stayed at the hotel next to the. Farm to fork. We were very disappointed. It is not farm to fork meatloaf was processed meat served with canned green beans gravy was from a package as was told us by our sarcastic waitress. The only time she was nice was when she brought us the bill. We asked for butter she said she" will try and find some" ask what kind of soup they had she was walking away and said "none" Never asked if anything was needed . We have been traveling and after checking into our Hotel the manager recommended Farm To Fork! I really, really wish (for the servers sake I could give this 5 Stars!!!! I want to start with the positives... Their grilled chicken is AMAZINGLY Delicious!!! We went for Lunch and I had the Strawberry Fields Spinach Salad and added the Grilled Chicken Breast! My Mom had their Grilled Salmon Salad, both were delicious! Mom stayed In tonight while I went sightseeing! I wanted dinner and was pleased to see they were open at 9:30pm! I only ate one, as I realized I was served "whipped Margarine" not the Real Butter I requested!!! Highly disappointing.... The Coleslaw was Very Good and a nice serving portion! Okay... that's the Good part about the food! Before I go on let me say that the service both times was OUTSTANDING!!! Gracie waited on us for lunch... She was superb!!! I rarely eat Mashed Potatoes... my server said "Yes, they make them here" ... well, made here and 100% peeled, boiled, and mashed here is very different than a 50/50 blend! I ate them ONLY because I was very hungry... they were seasoned well, but I would never order them again! 4th: COST.... Though overall We/I had a good experience... our two Salads we ate for Lunch, (waters only to drink)... with Tip totaled $45! My Grilled Chicken dinner was a little better, (drank water only) with tip $21. I know costs keep going up... but I felt it was about 15% too high! If I felt we would not freeze in the place... we would go back... primarily because that Chicken and Salmon were OUTSTANDING!!! And because of the EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!
