Came here around 2 on a Saturday and it was pretty empty, only 2 other tables were there. After about 25 min the restaurant completely emptied out! I was kind of surprised that no one was there on a Saturday afternoon! Our waiter was also the bartender and was pretty fast. We ordered apps and drinks right away and they came out quickly! We later ordered our meal and it seemed to take a bit longer. Everything came out as ordered and delicious!! Farm town brew hall is one of my favorite stops for date nights! When my husband and I lived closer to town we used to come once a week but now we try our best to stop in when we can with living on the other side of Minnesota. We always enjoy our chit chats with the man GARY! Honestly he was the reason we came back so often, super knowledgeable on the beers they have on tap and on what foods pair best. He's always been super friendly and engages well with the customer but also keeps on his tasks throughout the night! 10/10! read more

I recently came here with friends and had a great experience! I didn't take any pics but they had some yummy appetizers all doe $8 I think - they also had a happy hour draft bogo deal going on when we went which was great! We were there probably between 4:15-6:30 maybe and it wasn't too busy so it was easy to find a table. We were in the back so not a ton of natural light but still a nice, chill environment for catching up with people read more

This brewery is part of Bourbon Butcher but it's focus is on beer and hand held foods. We found a barrel table in the window. I had a hoppy IPA beer as recommended by our bartender and it was very good. For dinner, I choose the Cobb salad and it was HUGE. So full of cucumbers, feta cheese, tomatoes, guacamole, hard boiled eggs, and bacon. It was excellent and so big I had lunch the next day. Husband had the Farm Town Classic burger with onion rings. The onion rings could have been cooked a titch more but everything was good. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Great stop. read more

We went here on a Friday night with another couple for dinner, drinks, and axe throwing. We made a reservation for the axe throwing which made it simple, $25/person. When we arrived, we head to the back where the axe throwing is and the group ahead of us finished right on time. They have an employee there the whole time who teaches you and can offer advice to improve your throwing. The employee we had was friendly and super helpful! I had the You're So Naugh-tea drink which I would totally recommend. After axe throwing, we got a table for dinner. They share some of the same food as next door's Bourbon Butcher (like the delicious cheese curds) but overall have a mostly different menu. I got the Latin Burger which was good (though the chicharrones on it didn't really add anything and made it harder to eat). Hubby had the fried chicken sandwich which he also liked a lot (just wished it were a bit crispier). Service was friendly as well! We'll be back, a fun place to have locally! read more

Popped in on a Saturday date night to check out this brew hall that is attached to the Bourbon Butcher. Neat concept of axe throwing + beer/craft cocktails with a small menu. We sat in the bar and we were served by the bartender. After ordering the poutine and a couple of brews we were a bit dismayed at the poutine. There was literally no meat on the plate, when we asked, the bartender, he was just as shocked as us. He was quick to the plate away. Manager came out with a fresh plate with loads of brisket. She apologized and mentioned training new staff. I get it, we were grateful for the revised plate. Great flavor! We will be back since I have seen one of my Instagram foodies post an updated menu. More than three years ago, a young host of the place next door- B&B suggested for a small party just go next door. Dumbfounded? Oh yes, back then was. Please don't take as long as we did to figure out, what a great little venue, this is. My favorite same good food same good kitchen. So as another option, we went to see the best service ever. See personalities of a Bar staff at work. All interactive bartenders, a favorite. Mostly witness the opposite when in big venues. The small thriving town has it-Love it. So by taking a chance, and doing something different, had one of the best experiences in years with this little small venue. Don't judge, and you receive the unexpected. Great food great service great ambient feel. Most entertaining was AX Throwing Cage. Can register online or certainly worth watching. Remember to keep closed toe shoes handy. Enjoy! read more

Located right next door to Bourbon Butcher, and part of the Tony Donatell group of home town eateries, this is a nice place to go for a favorite brew and a burger. Food is excellent, service is great, there is a huge selection of brews, and a play area for the kids. Picnic table type seating makes it a very casual place. Been here a few times with family members and had great meals at reasonable prices. read more

Been going to Farm Town and Bourbon weekly this winter and love the new square cut pizza. Beyond disappointed today, arrived at 4pm when they opened and told it would be a few minutes while they set up. This place had a soft opening last weekend that I missed but I stopped by on their first official day open, Sept 2, 2020 to try it out. I was excited to see the new place and share with the Yelp community. One of the unique things about this place is they have axe throwing. Currently they have 2 indoor lanes open with more lanes outside planned soon. This is a sister of the Bourbon Butcher and is right next door. They actually use the same kitchen but they have different food and drink menus. They do share some of the popular food items like the fresh-cut fries and the fresh beer battered onion rings. Who likes frozen onion rings? You will not order frozen onion rings after you try these. They have a good beer selection but the beer that we had last night wasn't very cold. We also had several specialty drinks that you can see from the photos that I took. I also took pictures of both the drink menu and food menu for this place. Tony and his team have several successful restaurants id Eagan and Prior Lake as well. They take a lot of pride in what they do and they take the time to design each place to give you the feel of the concept that they are creating at each place. They do much of the decor themselves and it looks great! They have expanded the outdoor seating for both restaurants to make people feel safe and the staff wear masks. We had the Guadalajara bacon wrapped hot dag with kettle chips that was very good, but the bread was over toasted and a bit hard, which is easy to fix. We also had the Three Little Piggies with the fresh-cut fires which was also very good. The drinks at both places are interesting. I wish they gave a discount on the specialty drinks during happy hour, I would likely have more! We didn't actually do the axe throwing, but it can be booked online and i hear that it can only be reserved during the week. I also heard that it is $25/ person per hour. Ordered apps and burgers. Over an hour later we had nothing. We left after 80 minutes. They at least refunded the food. Won't be back.

Pull tabs, a full bar plus some, and delicious French toast. I love the atmosphere, the ruggedness, the service, it's all great! Only slight downfall was getting plastic silverware for our meals, it felt out of place. But I'm sure they have good reason. read more

My boyfriend and I heard about this place opening up and decided to check it out. I have mixed feelings about the place. 1. It was very crowded. No social distancing and really no mask enforcement. (I do understand you don't wear a mask while drinking and eating, but people were just hanging out with no mask). The place is small, but they need to do a better job of social distancing during this pandemic or they will have MDH checking into it. 2. Service was slow. Counter service, line was confusing and all over the place. People would just budge and order in front of you. Need a better system, also everyone stands in front of the doorway. Again, crowded and no social distancing AT ALL. I think the most disturbing part was one of the drinks I ordered had coffee in it and my drink was brought from the bar through all the people to the kitchen and back again to get the coffee for it. Not cool during Covid times.... While beer is quick, cocktails are another story. Took over 10 minutes for them to make my drink. Not exaggerating. I tried two different ones and it was slow slow slow! The cocktails were fine but nothing amazing. My boyfriend got their old fashioned and it wasn't good at all! Weak and had a weird flavor. Doesn't compare at all to Volstead's Old Fashioned!!! 3. Food was alright. We started with the cheese curds, these were typical. Not super crunchy but fine. Dipping sauce was good. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was fine too. Nothing special about it and really not too spicy. Just tasted like it had buffalo sauce drizzled on it. Not sure the Queso is necessary as I didn't really notice the flavor given the buffalo and pickles. Plus it made the crispy chicken kind of soggy. My boyfriend got a burger and said it was alright. Not amazing but not bad either. 4. We didn't participate in the axe throwing but it looked fun. Although when you sit in the back room where it is, it's noisy and sometimes the crack the axe on the wood is startling. 5. It was also very hot in the back room. Like we needed some air flow. Bad. It was likely due to the crowd, so that wasn't comfortable. 6. We happened to sit at a table without glass on top of it and it kept snagging my sweater. Not sure why our table didn't have glass and all the other ones did, but just something to be aware of. The rustic wood isn't sweater friendly. Overall, could be a fun place but appears to be a 21 year old hang out. Very small and crowded with a young crowd (not that a young crowd is bad just the vibe I got). We are regulars at Volstead and have eaten at Whiskey Inferno many times so we were excited to check it out. Unfortunately, it won't be the place for us. Too crowded, slow and nothing amazing about it. read more
