Farmer Boys has never disappointed until today. I was craving and avocado cheeseburger but they were avocado. I didn't mind saving the $1.39 and accepted the money and calorie savings. Upon getting our order, we asked for catsup and was told they were OUT of THAT TOO! Imagine fries without catsup with a cheeseburger that had SHREDDED cheese on it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I understand things happen and orders get backed up but this is unacceptable. I called in my order, they said 20 minutes. I go inside to pick up my food and they tell me to go through the drive through. I go through the drive through and get to the window and they tell me to park in front and wait, LITERALLY 30 minutes later and I have to go inside to ask about my food. Had they been apologetic and compensating I would have been understanding but instead they acted as if I was the inconvenience! I live 5 minutes from this location but you better believe I will be going to any other location if I ever return to Farmer Boys again to begin with! Was at farmer boys a couple days in the afternoon time maybe around 2 ish pm. Placed my food at the store . Ordered jr cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and 4ct onion rings and used my $10.00 off coupon using my Farmer Boys App. And only have to pay 4 cents . Man, what a deal that was. So placed order etc. Waited 45 mins for them to call my name after I ordered waited it got extremely busy for lunch . A big group of church people came ordered their food and many more customers came in after that. Everyone that came in after I did, they all got their food. So I worked my way up to the counter in the front with receipt in hand as they called others orders after I placed mine. Finally some employees there asked hi u been helped. Yes , I replied can u check up in my order ok sir. It will be 3 mins waited another 10 mins or more for them to remake my food. This is unbelievable. Again . I visit this location at least once a month. The food is always perfect and I especially love their Southwestern grilled chicken salad. What stands out about this location, however, is the staff. My last five visits were always handled by smiling and courteous staff members. On my last visit, Cassandra took our order. Horribly slow service. I tried going through the drive thru last night. The car in front of me placed their order and moved up a couple of feet. That was the last time the line would move. Farmer Boy makes excellent food. Usually. So I don't know what happened today. Perhaps it was the brand new and totally inept girl taking orders on the drive thru. She even had the manager out there coaching her through every step. I ordered a three egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast for my husband, who is at home in a wheelchair. Yeah, as we know, prices are going up everywhere so when it comes in farmer boys, I'm not quite sure you'll get what you pay for. I got a breakfast with an omelette. The omelette is about the size of a tamale or smaller not good. Kind a takes a long time to get your food here considering no one's here a little messy in the dining room to customer services. OK this wouldn't be the first place I choose to come to. On that note, I noticed my wife ordered chicken tenders that are way over cooked we decided not even to complain. I figured they know what they're bringing you. I also got toast with my breakfast it's just bread that got warmed up. This location lives up to the chain expectations of quality and service. They do many things with the primary categories being breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, salads and a few entrees. My favorites: **Breakfast: The omlette plate with hashbrowns is HUGE. (2nd fave-the breakfast burrito...try the chili) **Burgers: The Barn Burner...it's got pepper jack, fire sauce and jalepenos. **Sandwich: The tuna melt! (sorry - I'm a sucker for this sandwich). Their freshly brewed tea is some of the best tasting out there, a touch stronger than you'll find at chicken sandwich places, and usually fresh. It takes 30 minutes & for some reason the order is always wrong and burnt. Yvette is a racist who always seems it's okay to raise her voice even to my kids. I was upset when I initially decided to post a review. I hope this was a fluke with how horrible my order was. I ordered the French toast breakfast with a side of zucchini (which I never received). Clearly their cook does not know how to cook French toast. I also did not get any condiments. Imagine! And they refused to substitute the zucchini! I have been eating at this Farmer Boys location for several years no, and it is always a great experience. The food is always great, prepared correctly, served hot, and always very tasty. The portions are generous as well. My 2 faves are the Bacon Turkey Melt Sandwich, and the California Omelet. I always make it a point to eat here when I plan to be on that side of town.
