Worst customer service ive experienced in awhile.I had an online order, I went through the drive thru they parked me. Maybe 5 mins go by they bring out my drinks they said 'theyre taking forever on your chicken sandwich Ill be right out with your food.' Which is fine as expected with farmer boys right because usually everything is nice and fresh. Another damn near 20 mins go by and nothing I walk in there and the guy that brought me my shakes is just looking at me looking stupid in the back while I talk to apparently the manager. My food was right there just sitting on the counter. Mind you this is at 4:40 I placed my online order at 4pm. I was sitting in my car the whole time just waiting for them to do what they said. All I had in my order was two combos. After I left I called wanting to speak to a manager because of course I was upset. Ended up being the same lady I talked to inside. She said she could remake my food but why would I want to sit and wait even longer after I was already waiting way longer than I should have? Both workers that were helping me out were rude. I don't normally write reviews. However I only have one thing I can offer a business and that is money. Obviously the Farmer boys in Highland doesn't want that. I ordered a BLT for dinner. The toast was burnt on one side. They put that side on the inside of the sandwich. All I can assume is that is how ALL farmer boys operate. I Will never order another sandwich from any Farmer boys again. I don't care how they try to hide it, the burnt taste over powered the entire meal. I am not a slow learner, this is not acceptable. You saved the cost of a slice of bread and lost a customer. I hope that makes you happy. read more

This place is poorly managed. Always an issue every time I give them another chance. The latest was waiting 20min for a breakfast burrito. No line in drive thru. Ordered quick and paid quick. Then told pull around front to wait. After 20minutes, I walked inside and asked about my burrito. They still hadn't made it. Unbelievable! Apparently due to a big order I was told. C'mon, dont hold up individual customers because of a "big order". I could not wait any longer due to having to go to work. So I asked for my money back. And this is last time I go here. Visited this business last night, Friday evening, the staff was helpful and friendly. They brought us our food and provided condiments as requested. There was a black gentleman working the driver thru, he was busy taking orders, in between taking orders, he came to check on us, and on the customer sitting in the booth behind us, he asked if we needed anything, I asked if I could please have more dressing and he quickly provided more, he was very attentive, and friendly. OMG!! We've really enjoyed Farmer Boys for over 20+ years. Well their exceptional performance ended at this location. We arrived for lunch and the counter person: "Lisbhelt" was unfriendly and rude. We placed our order and when asked to pay, we mentioned that the cost seemed high and out of line. She looks at us sideways and says it's correct and high because of the upgraded combo price. We are still puzzled, and get seated awaiting our order. Well she delivered our order and she entered it incorrectly! She then rolled her eyes and took our order back to be redone. After lunch, we approached her at the counter to ask for the difference back that was mis-ordered. She then demanded our order receipt. We told her that she kept it and that she would get with the manager for a refund. Lo and behold, after 5 more minutes, she located our receipt. No apology? We then waited well over another 10 minutes while she came and went two times away from us. I finally asked her how long had she worked at FB? Ohh, I'm new here. At this point another young lady stepped in and asked how she could help. She finally said she'd help us and gave us the amount difference in cash. Surprised by the mixed reviews, I didn't think this place cpuld have a bad one. Based on my experience here, I have no complaints. Farmer Boys is a place that I've come to love when wanting all American food. With a variety of menu options, I've yet to gome wrong on ordering something I didn't like. Valuing service, farm fresh ingredients and a winning taste, you can't go wrong here! Customer service is always on point here. Friendly smiles and always greeted. I can't think of a time I walked in and wasn't greeted. They go the extra mile to make sure you're noticed. Drive-thru can be daunting as expected. Although this isn't a fast food joint necessarily, although it feels as though it is because they have a drive-thru and there's always a line. Upon ordering food, expect it to take more than 5 minutes as they prepare your meal as everything is vookd fresh upon ordering. Very accommodating if anything is needed. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, as you see an associate cleaning often when a customer leaves. The decor is ugly, but I get they're trying to make it like a farm motif. Bathrooms always clean and well stocked. One thing about it, I love their sink os stainless steal. I wish more restaurants or establishments followed suit. Today, I came to the restaurant to have lunch. I normally order the bacon boy combo and a patty melt combo for my wife. Their food here is usually delicious, and I don't mind paying their high prices for their very good quality food. However, this time around my wife and I were waiting at the cash register to be served. Nobody was ahead of us, when suddenly a cashier walked right pass us and went to the cash register next to us and began to take her buddy's order ahead of ours. I could tell they were friends because she and this female customer, that came out of nowhere from behind us, were talking intimately with each other at the register as the cashier took her order ahead us. As this carried on, no other cashier step forward to take our order. After this cashier took her buddy's order, she did not take our order either. Finally my wife and I were forced to leave the restaurant because of no service from the wait staff. They all ignored us and left us standing at the register with no help. As a result of this maltreatment from the restaurant, we ended up eating somewhere else for lunch. Later on this same day, I returned back to the restaurant to make a complaint against this cashier. The cashier remembered me and at first she attempted to deny this incident had occurred (she later apologized to me for her rude behavior), however I was insistent that I needed to report this incident to a manager. At first the cashier did not want to call her manager. But upon being insistent I got to speak with a shift manager who said they apologized for their rude treatment of me and my wife but that they do not give out free food. I was not satisfied with this answer because it was clear to me that the shift manager was not going to do anything about my complaint. So I asked to speak with the head manager of the restaurant, so she could make this right. The head manager refused to speak with me about this incident . As it turned out, the head manager was worst in conduct then the cashier and shift manager combined. Instead of addressing my complaint, this head manager yelled at me from across the fryers and the griddle in the kitchen to leave because she was "too busy" to take care of my complaint. This head manager was on a power trip and I saw her yell at her staff to call the police to have me physically removed from the premises because she did not want to address my concerns. Now mind you, I am a regular customer at this establishment, longer than the head manager has been around. So I asked for corporate's phone number and they did not give me that number either and told me to go look it up on own on the internet. There is an old saying the fish rots from the head down. And it is clearly the case here at this restaurant. If the head manager does not care about customer service at this restaurant then why would the workers care. Beware of their lack of service here it will ruin your food. And beware of this rotten head manager, she definitely does not care. read more

This review is for the order online/pick-up in restaurant option they offer on their app. We have always had great food and service from this location. It's about a 10 min drive so I thought I'd help cut our wait time down by ordering ahead. My confirmation said our 'Order Ready Time' was 7:09 pm. I got there a couple minutes early and noticed a 'to-go' box in the window and the cashier was reviewing the contents against the receipt. I thought perfect timing! It took a couple minutes for the cashier to help me, she was running around helping bag things for the drive-thru. I told her I was there to pick up my order. She took my name, and started checking the box again and said they were out of the two milkshake flavors I ordered. I said it was no problem, to just give me a refund. She said she couldn't, I would have to reach out to the third party that handles the online payments for them. If the third party is handling the payment, I'm assuming Farmer Boys gets the money for my order, so why can't they give me a refund? I didn't want to hassle with that, so chose a substitute (that I didn't really want) instead. Meanwhile, the cashier is still running around, filling drinks and bagging orders. I figure I must have been mistaken about the box in the window, it's been sitting there for 10-15 minutes by now. Who knows how long it had been there before I walked in! Turns out it was my order. I finally got my food and when I got home the two parm-crusted sourdough burgers were so soggy and lukewarm. I can overlook the missing condiments, but the sad fries and burgers that had been sitting too long were so disappointing. Didn't even finish my burger. If you don't have time to dine-in, take the time to sit in the drive-thru and skip the order online/pick-up in restaurant option. Farmers Boys pricing is a bit high for us, so we don't splurge often. Finding ourselves on the far side of the San Bernardino Airport and seeing the Farmer Boys was a relief. Quickly turned into the parking lot and inside the restaurant. Nice and cool inside with clean restroom. The lovely missus orders the juicy cheeseburger and French Fries and I did the zuchini. Large drinks rounded out our orders....hey that lemonade is nice and tangy..and we took the time to check where we are and how to get to our next destination. It was good to stop at Farmer Boys.
