Farmer Boys is an interesting place because it depends on what you get and how you order that can make or break the experience. Years ago, I would have 1-starred or negative starred this location for a drive thru order that ended up having me wait at the pickup in front for 30 min for a relatively simple 2 item order. Hence - I did not return for a long time. Recently I was craving breakfast in the afternoon and decided enough time had passed and I would give it a go. There's a good 2 egg special that is a promo via the loyalty app, it was $7.99. There's also some other great deals shown on the app for other breakfast items - it's worth checking out. Given the drive thru experience, I was definitely going to walk in to order. The cashier was very nice and put the order in. Chili Breakfast Burrito - slightly pricey but it came out hot and the chili was very good. 2 egg breakfast - it came with 2 pancakes (they are Ok, not great, not bad), eggs, and bacon. My biggest complaint would be the bathrooms they're so nasty the toilets, floors, walls and the sink gross !! Also the soap dispenser wasn't even working. We ordered and it took about 20 min to get our food. They weren't overly busy so I'm not sure why it took so long. The food was hot and fresh and correct. The little pancake meal surprised me. I didn't realize it came with eggs. That little meal hit the spot.Their pancakes are pretty darn good. It was honestly all I really needed but I ordered a burger as well. The burger was really good. The fries were fresh. The salad was good and fresh which is hard to find at fast food restaurants. My family enjoyed their meals. It wasn't too busy when we went on a Wednesday around 6:30PM. We ordered fish and chips and a side of zucchini, I guess the guy taking my order thought I wanted to substitute fries for the zucchini. We also ordered the Cobb salad, and sourdough chicken sandwich. I also placed a separate order for my hubby, a grilled chicken sandwich. Needless to say, the only thing that we all agreed that we liked was the zucchini sticks. It seems like they used a whole zucchini, cut it in 4s, breaded it and fried it...the best thing we got. My mom of course enjoyed her Cobb salad. Other than that everything else was eh, just ok. I was going to rate it one star but at least the servers were nice, hence the 2 star rating. We dined inside the restaurant so we were given a number and the food was brought to our table. Unfortunately the burgers were lukewarm warm at best. Immediately upon biting into it and not feeling any heat I was super disappointed. The patty clearly had been made some time ago and had barely any warmth to it. The bun was also not warm, it was waxy looking and wasn't really soft. Spending that much money for hamburgers that are served cold is infuriating. This should never happen at this price point. I ordered the Avacado Bacon Cheeseburger. I paid $11.15 for just the burger. The guy at the drive thru told me this burger is amazing. I was the only car in the drive thru and it took 15 minutes to get my burger. I figured it took so long because they cooked it to order so I was ok with the wait. When I got home and opened the burger the cook had smashed the burger down to the thickness of a McDonald's cheeseburger. You know how thin those are. The burger extended over the bun an inch all around. This is a 1/3 pound burger. It was beyond overcooked (see picture). It was as black as night and as hard as a rock. I am blown away that a cook would do this and then serve it to me. My visit was Saturday 03/14/26 at 9:15PM. If management knows who the cook was she should absolutely be FIRED!! Contacted Farmer Boys and went back for a replacement burger. Was still a little excited to experience this all natural $11 dollar Guacamole Bacon Cheeseburger. About a 12 minute wait for our food to come so once again I expected a hot fresh burger. I was wrong! The burger was so cold that the cheese didn't even melt. The bun was too firm as well. The fries were not fresh either. Bottom line is I will never eat at Farmer Boys again and unless you want overpriced subpar food you shouldn't either. Every time I go to this specific Farmer Boys, I always have a good experience. The food is terrific (I always get breakfast). The dining room is rarely crowded. And the staff is so attentive, accommodating, and generally cheerful. I don't know about all Farmer Boys locations, but I love this one. read more

I ordered 2 burger combos, Bacon Boy without lettuce and tomato and an avocado bacon . We were asked to park, which we did. Once our food was brought outside, we drove away, only to realize we didn't get our drinks, and there was lettuce and tomato on my burger and the Avocado burger did not have lettuce and tomato (they got it backwards). I returned and went into the store, to tell them they forgot my drinks and my burger had lettuce and tomato (basically just a statement so they did better next time). The girl from the drive-thru window just shrugged, like she didn't care, no apology, she just proceeded to ask what my drinks were. I told her Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. She gave me the drinks; once I got into the car, the Dr. Pepper was Root Beer. I had to go in a second time to fix the drink myself. I spent $34 and change on mediocre food and a shitty customer service experience. There was no service recovery, no one apologized, no one offered to fix the mistake with the burgers, no one cared. Decent spot to get some decent quality fast food, although I'd recommend not going through their drive thru, as sometimes orders can take a while here. I love getting the Farmer's chopped cobb salad, however, they seem to only give you a tiny cup of dressing so be sure to check and ask for more if needed! I made the mistake once of not checking before driving home and the tiny dressing was definitely not enough for even half a salad! I love the variety in their menu. However the food that we ate wasn't all that great. We had a burger, patty melt, a chicken sandwich and a fish platter. The chicken sandwich was bland and rock hard due to being overcooked. Fish platter was bland but the portion was huge, which was great if you're really hungry. Patty melt was fine and the cheeseburger was just average compared to places like Shake Shack, Smashburger or In n Out. The fries were nice and crispy and we are fans of their zucchini fries too. The restaurant was clean, staff are friendly and service was good. But due to the overall quality of the food we ate, I doubt we'll be coming back anytime soon. read more

Their salads are beyond what I was expecting and for the portion size i ended up with 2 full meals. If you love fresh fast salads I highly recommend them. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, but "Jose" forgot the mustard and the sandwich was completely dry. Since we planned to eat our meal at a kid's ballgame there was nowhere to get mustard. I also ordered a sourdough chicken avocado sandwich, suspiciously missing avocado. Lastly, I ordered 2 orders of fried zucchini. Jose asked us to pull around to parking spot #1 while they made the zucchini. I was furious when I took the zucchini out of it's container. After waiting 15 minutes for it to be cooked, it was as raw and hard as the day it was pulled from the ground. We threw all 8 zucchini sticks away. The entire meal was a bust. I tried calling Farmer Boys at the number listed on the website, but I was quickly disconnected. We debated going to BJ's right across the parking lot but didn't want to wait. Ironically, we waited anyway, the food was just as expensive and we would have gotten a decent meal from BJ's.
