We passed by here a couple weeks ago for the first time. The food was delicious! I got the burger with avocado and bacon with fries and a tasty chocolate shake. My bf ordered the chicken sandwich with fried zucchini. We both enjoyed our food. It was plenty and didn't get to finish it all. We definitely recommend eating here specially when everything is made fresh to order. The service was excellent and they were super helpful. The ambiance was like a burger joint. We definitely would eat here again if there were more Farmer Boys close to us in San Diego. read more

If I could give this location less than 1 star or zero stars I would. Do not waste your money and go eat elsewhere. The customer service and the quality of the food is terrible. We ordered two burgers and they were over seasoned and barely edible. When I let the cashier know the issue she said she would not eat a burger there, they are not very good and suggested a salad. She had a hard time understanding what I was trying to say. When I let her know the issue she laughed and went to the back to laugh with another employee. I went through the drive-thru last night. Tired after a 12-hour day, as well as daylight savings time. I ordered a drink and a hamburger, no cheese, no tomato. I but received my order and drove home. I was astonished that they charged me a little over $4 for this. The employee even repeated my order back to me and I looked at the receipt and it said hamburger no cheese no tomato. I was sad to see the yelp ratings for this location are so low! Clearly these people did not get the privilege of having Eduardo at the drive-through window like I did today Super friendly voice, very well spoken! Took my order and repeated it back to me. Explain to me the extra ranch dressing would be a little $.20 charge, which is so totally fine because I am addicted to their ranch dressing. When I have it in the fridge. I tend to eat more celery That's a win. Today I just got onion rings and they were shockingly better than any other onion rings I've ever had. I loved the crispiness of them. But when I got to the window, Eduardo was still pretty impressive! When he was filling my drink, he asked me how much ice I wanted. I love that when I have a coupon for food and the drink ends up being as expensive as the little food item I want to get as much out of it as I can. I can always add ice at home Thank you, Eduardo. Well the guy who took our order was great! He was like you got it boss! To my hubby and we felt so welcomed. Loved the service n vibe. First time trying a Farmer Boys and our salad was not like a fast food salad. It was fresh and deeeeelicous! Chicken was good and sauces were good: their Italian was great!! Next time we will try something different sorry guys that's all I got but service alone was great and yummy fresh food. I got the Cobb salad and I normally don't eat the egg but this was one yummy! O got a regular cheeseburger , onion rings and the caramel coffee... it was very good. The guy who took my order made my meal into a combo so I got the drink for 20cents which I thought was kind of him. While watching them put together the " for here" plates you took the time to make sure the presentation was on point. Just okayyyyy. If you have the opportunity to go to another Farmer Boys, I'd suggest that. This one is sorta meh to be honest. I think the previous reviews speak for themselves. Heed everyone's warnings about this spot. They aren't lying lol Service was kind of slow. Person taking the order had an attitude. When I asked to confirm that they heard me say "no mayo" the lady just said "yes" in a rushed voice and you could tell that she didn't give a $hit. They weren't slammed with customers or anything, at least from the drive through. So I don't understand why she couldn't just take the time to confirm and check with the cook. But whatever. I won't be going back ever. When I got to my friends house, I unwrapped my food to find that they had put mayonnaise on the sandwich. Soooo that means I couldn't even eat it. I was not happy. Eddy has the best customer service I have ever experienced. I never really have been impressed with Farmer Boys in general. But decided to stop here for a bit of a "healthy option". I order a breakfast burrito but didn't want pork, and he offered to replace it with chicken breast to respect my request. Eddy was very kind and respectful the whole time. After I got my burrito, I started eating and realized my burrito has pico de gallo in it and I'm just slightly allergic to tomatoes. I've never been one that likes to complain or take food back, but I did just because I would have thrown it away and wasted it. When I walked back in the restaurant, Eddy asked "Uh oh. Did we do something wrong?" Which immediately signaled to me that they were ready to fix any "mistake" they had made, when it was really my fault for not asking what would be on the burrito. I apologized a lot for taking it back, and he assured me that it was okay and that they would fix my order. I have never been one to leave reviews at places, but my positive experience here moved me to download this app and leave a kind word. I will definitely be returning to this clean location! The food is alright, but the prices are very high for what you're getting. I can go to The Hat for chili fries and a pastrami and get bigger portions for the same $ if not, even a little less. The pastrami sandwich was mostly bread, and we paid 1.50 more than you would for one from The Hat. Their sandwiches are always overflowing with meat (and they taste better, too). I ordered a grilled cheese combo got back to the office only to find the sandwich was completely burned. $13.00 for a burned sandwich is not something I was expecting. I had to drive back and asked if I could possibly have a sandwich that wasn't burned? It was made fast and I was on my way. Been here about a dozen times since it's near my office. Always use drive through and half the time I'm forced to pull around and wait in a spot. Food is usually good. But today I decided to use my free time birthday reward and got a Cobb salad and it sucked. A lot. Of course you expect salads to be 80% lettuce but geeze the toppings sucked. The avocado slices were literally 1/4 and the egg was literally 1/2 of an egg lol are you serious!? Chicken was DRY...bacon bits were like rocks. Plus I told the gal at the window I wanted bleu cheese and what I got was ranch. Oh and yes I had to pull into a spot to wait for a freaking salad! I go out of my way to visit this location even though this is not the closest one. Employees are friendly and the food is consistently great! They are very conscientious about keeping the dining room cleaned up. I think the cashiers do need more training though in order to learn what to do with special promotion cards. read more

I would never send something back at a fast food place, of course, for fear of retribution. My wife got a sourdough chicken avocado sandwich. It was very small, again unlike the photo on the menu. She said there was almost no avocado (she couldn't taste it), and the tomato wasn't ripe. The only saving grace in our $21 lunch was the fried zucchini sticks, the same as I remembered them. The staff was happy and enthusiastic, but I'm afraid this is another place I will never visit again, due to the extremely mediocre food. Sebastian is the ONLY cashier that uses clean gloves to load the fries. The other cashiers handle the money then open the envelope with the same dirty glove then grab the fries with the same dirty glove touching top of the food. Management, Please have Sebastian teach the others how to properly handle food OR use a full time expeditor that doesn't handle product OR have the cooks load the fries. Previously, I gave the first review of 5 stars and I don't want to give any less over something that is easily correctable. But the fries I did not enjoy I should of gotten the union rings it seemed like the fires didn't have no seasoning. Order was a small simple one a plain grilled cheese, fries and onion rings. Total was $15.91 Drive through did not give me a receipt - said it was in the bag - it was not. Only I didn't get my fries. The store manager Lorenzo said they would not credit my card for the French fries but I could drive back from Temecula and get them. This was unacceptable to me as I didn't think it was worth the fuel (30 miles each way) or time to pick up my missing fries - it was not my mistake I don't understand how I am supposed to pay for it. I would like the cost of the fries to be credited to my card I am going to dispute the charge with my processor and file a formal complaint with the corporate Farmer boys.
