I ordered an iced matcha, while my friend kept it simple with an iced coffee/cold brew? I don't know what the official name is. What I do know, however, was that my matcha was excellent! Smooth, earthy, refreshing, and thankfully not overwhelmingly sweet like some matcha drinks can be. It was the perfect thing to sip on while standing outside watching the longhorn cattle make their way through the streets of Fort Worth. The shop itself seemed pretty busy, but the staff handled the crowd very efficiently. Our drinks came out quickly, the line moved smoothly, and the overall vibe was that of a great coffee shop. The prices also looked pretty reasonable, especially considering the location in a heavily visited tourist area. All in all, this was a great little coffee stop in the Stockyards, quick, tasty, and exactly what we needed in the middle of a fun afternoon exploring Fort Worth. I'd absolutely stop back in next time I'm in the area!

They offer small first floor to place and pick up your order. On the second floor is a small seating area to enjoy your stay. The variety of coffees offered here are full of bold flavor that tastes so much better than a lot of big corporate coffee chains. This Roastery proudly supplies their bold flavors to Hotel Drover, Autograph Collection, located within five minutes. While you sip on your coffee, you can step outside and explore Fort Worth Stockyards and explore what a true Texas looks like. Be sure to time your visit between 12 Noon and 4 PM, each day, to watch Texas Longhorn cows walk the Main Street of The Stockyards. It's quite a sight to see. If you're looking for bold flavors and a Texas southern hospitality, you should probably come visit this spot.

They bring in breakfast items from local small businesses - I love that they support the local economy. Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.
