    Hawaiian Burger
    Linda W.

I'd hate to give a low review because they were nice people. Their truck came to my workplace area and I didn't pack any lunch, so food truck it is. There were many choices I wanted to try, but I wanted something hearty, so I went with the Hawaiian Burger. They ran out of pineapple (before the lunch hour started), but that's ok, they substitute it with either bacon or avocado. The order took awhile to be prepared. When it arrived I expected some hot sizzling burger because of how long it took, but it was not. The pretzel bun was cold. The burger was hard to bite into because of how high it's stacked between the hard pretzel bun. After getting tired of biting it I just eat it with a fork and knife. My coworker had the same burger and agreed it was tough to eat and wasn't so great. Sorry, Farmer's Belly. Maybe use softer buns.

    The Lolita.
    Veronica W.

Super disappointed! My husband and I came to this food truck and ordered the Lolita and the Chicken pesto. Let's start with the Lolita. The Lolita- Free Range Chicken with Goat Cheese, Spring Mix and a Red Pepper Sauce on a sourdough bread. Special request: light on the goat cheese. $9 The chicken was so thin it looked like the pounded the crap out of it. This Red Pepper PASTE was thick and unappealing. Tasted like tomato paste more than Red Pepper. Attached picture. I ate a quarter and was done. The husband ate it but as he did he said "not waiting in a line to eat something else. it's crappy but it's food" Chicken Pesto Sandwich- Free Range Chicken with Pesto Mozzarella and Provolone and spring mix.Special request: light cheese $9 Again with the flat piece of chicken. Smothered in cheese. The only saving grace, the pesto. But really, how hard is it to mess pesto up?? Won't be coming to this truck again.

    Reuben melt!
    Celine L.

Wow. Did not expect how good their melts would be! Ordered the Reuben melt with marble rye bread, corn beef brisket, sauerkraut, provolone and cheddar cheese. Presentation itself was beautiful, and the smell of it was even better. Took my first bite... and wow. The corn beef brisket was diced into thin long strips (i dont know a better way to put it) and was so tender and juicy. The sauce was creamy with a slight hint of vinegar that just went so well with the sandwich. The cheese was melted perfectly.. and the bread was toasted- crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. I was totally and entirely impressed with sandwich that I had. Definitely the best sandwich I've had from a food truck!

I went last weekend to the Lunar New Year event in NoHo and saw that they had the truck there - it was kismet. I decided to order the Korean short rib burrito for my first dive into the Korean Mexican fusion world. I was not disappointed. Love how the kimchi and short rib work within a burrito, and it's very fair pricing for what you get. I liked that they weren't stingy with the beef. The flavor was savory and had plenty of the umami flavor you expect from Korean bbq, and the kimchi brings a great crunch. The line was long for the truck, but from what I've heard, I may have gotten off easy with only a 30 minute wait - this place is popular! Anyway, really dug it and found it something fascinating and new to me. Excited to try the tacos next.

The line wasn't too bad for lunch on a Thursday but the wait for your food can take 15 minutes. The popular things I heard being ordered were the short rib tacos and the short rib burrito. My go to is the burrito and it is still delicious. So much Korean bbq flavor! It was large and stuffed with the short rib goodness, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes and a little cheese. Sounds like a breakfast burrito doesn't it? With a side of kimchi, my lunch was perfect. One of the few trucks I would consider a favorite. If you see it, don't second guess yourself. Get the burrito or a taco at the very least!

The thought of the two teaming up seems unattainable but it's been done and it's called Dulanville Food Truck! Yep, they serve up delicious eats from both establishments on one food truck! It's a cute truck that I was able to try at Infatuation's Eeeeatsfest. Of course what they offer depends on where you are catching them, but they will always have some form of that signature Prince's hot chicken recipe on the menu and if you're smart, you'll get that. I also highly recommend their Mac & Smokin' Cheese if it's on offer...omggggg. Mac & cheese is one of my guilty pleasures, childhood classic comfort foods, and this version is fabulous. Creamy pasta baked with four cheeses but having that signature soul punch with a dash of Hotville's sweet heat seasoning. Obsessed! I saw they're going to be at Winterfest today so am going to try to swing by for some more yums! You can see where they are on their website or ig! :)

It's excellent. I hadn't had Hotville since their brick & mortar space closed last year. Other than the food coming out of a truck, nothing seems to have changed. I tried the Dulanville truck for the first time when they were at Three Weaver's Brewery. I had the fish sandwich, fries, collard greens, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. The fish sandwich was spicy, fresh, and delicious, and the portion size was very generous. The sides were tasty, and the desserts worth ordering. I really enjoyed the banana pudding, which had nice slices of fresh banana and was topped with a Pepperidge Farm chessman cookie. The peach cobbler was really good, too. Service was friendly - just like it was at the brick and mortar space. And the wait time was short. I'm glad Hotville is back - even if in food truck form - and look forward to eating with them again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- especially for an indecisive person like me -- pointing out what's popular, what they personally like, and what they recommend. I chose to go the "build your own" route and landed on: 1. Base: Chili Garlic 2. Noodles: Yakisoba 3. Protein: Fire-grilled chicken 4. Toppings: Carrots, cabbage, red peppers, sesame seeds, crunchy chili garlic The portions are solid -- I easily got two meals out of one bowl. Since I like spice, they gave me a side of their spicy sauce, which added both sweetness and heat. With all the sauce, it was definitely a bit messy, but the flavor was bold and the kick was real. The noodles and chicken were cooked well, though next time I might choose something a little less intense so I can better appreciate all the ingredients. With that much heat and garlic, some of the other flavors got lost. All in all, lunch for about $25 on Abbot Kinney is a great deal, and I'll definitely be back to try more combinations!
