I really wanted to like this place. It's a great location, easy to get to and parking on the street was plentiful. The inside was charming, with many gift items available for purchase. After a procedure at the local hospital not too far away, I stopped in for some breakfast. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich to-go and was a bit disappointed in what I got for $12. The toast was not toasted well enough so the bread became soggy (I unwrapped the sandwich within minutes of leaving the place so it wasn't that the sandwich sat in the wrapping paper for very long), the yolk of the egg that I had requested to be "hard fried" was gummy and not hard-cooked at all, and the bacon didn't have much flavor. Overall, it could have been a much better experience and had I not taken my sandwich to go, I would have gone back and asked for better toast and a harder yolk. I'm willing to try them again sometime - maybe it was just a fluke - but their prices are such that spending that much money for a so-so sandwich is not something I do on a regular basis.

Fresh, delicious, consistent, and fairly priced. What else could one ask for? Service with a smile? Check! (Every time) Great, cozy, vibe? Check! We live about 30 minutes away and drive over for a simple yet delicious sandwich as often as we can. (You should too!)

Stopped off for one of these burritos I've been hearing about. Great ambiance, service was amazing, and the food. Wow!

i paid $17 for the Philly sandwich. it was small. Two thin slices of beef. it was a small average sandwich for way too much money.

Our selections were the Italian sub and the turkey avocado, both of which were delicious.

The barista was nice and accommodating as well! We went during our stay in Silverton, and we all felt that the food was just ok (outside of the donuts - those were delicious!) and the coffee was perfectly adequate. The service was pretty quick - even whenever it got busy. The coffee didn't rewrite any history books and won't be added to a list of best shops in Oregon, but it's a great space to support a local shop and get a decent cup that's worth the price. Strong suggestion to order any latte half sweet - it'll be a good level for more serious coffee drinkers!

Although the woman behind the counter said she didn't make many cortados (even though they're on the menu), she said she'd give it a shot (see what she did there? ). It was tasty but had too much foam on top (cortados are equal parts espresso and steamed milk without foam), although now that I think about it, maybe it wasn't foam at all but simply the steamed milk bubbles rising to the top. Typically a cortado is served in a clear glass large shot glass but since they didn't have any of those, it was served in a small espresso cup. In any event, the drink was good and the bite-sized frosted mini doughnut was a perfect mouthful. I'd give them 5 stars if they had had a cortado cup, especially since it's actually on the menu, but overall, a charming place to stop for a pastry and a coffee. With several comfy nooks, tables for your laptop, live-edged wooden bars at the front windows, and a nice selection of pastries, I'd definitely come back here... and maybe next time they'll have cortado cups

That said, I wanted to share my experience in the hopes it's taken as constructive feedback. I brought my niece and her partner, who are visiting from Georgia, to this spot after a beautiful day at Silver Falls. We were hungry and looking forward to relaxing with some drinks and food. We initially sat at the 21+ section, but had to move since one of us forgot their ID. Totally understandable. Before heading downstairs, the employee asked to see my niece's ID. Since she's from out of state, they also asked to see her debit/credit card to verify her name. While I get the caution, it did feel a bit unusual--especially since we hadn't ordered yet. It made me wonder what would've happened if she only had cash. Downstairs, we were greeted by a new server who seemed... off. Not necessarily rude, but distant, as if they didn't want to be there or didn't really want to engage with us. We ordered drinks and food--drinks were great! But food took about 30-35 minutes, which we understood. What was odd was the service flow. Our server came back to ask if we were ready for the bill... but we hadn't gotten our food yet. Eventually, another employee brought our plates and asked if we needed anything else. We asked for forks, but they never came back. When I asked someone again, our original server casually mentioned that utensils were still being washed--no reassurance or clear follow-up. It just felt like, "Oh well." My niece ended up asking for plastic utensils, and instead we were handed wet metal forks. We dried them ourselves and ate. The server didn't check on us again until the very end, and by that point, we just wanted the check and to go. The food itself was really good--but overall, the atmosphere just didn't feel warm or welcoming. I truly hope this feedback helps. The place has potential, and I'd love to give it another try someday, but this visit left us with mixed feelings.
