First time visit and can't believe it took me so long. Really liked this place -- a place time forgot. I ordered the Michelbock omelette which was delicious. Served with their homemade bread and Marionberry jam. Hubs got the Big Brother omelette - equally as enjoyable. Perfect spot for breakfast with fast and friendly service. Highly recommend

Small-town local feel. Good portion sizes. Hat the Hobo Scramble and was very happy with the flavors and overall service. GREAT Diner experience in a quaint part of McMinville. Worth getting-off the man highways going through the

We came here to grab breakfast after staying the night at the McMenamins Hotel Oregon just down the street. My wife saw they were famous for their French toast and marionberry jam. Neither of us would typically order French toast as an entree but we decided to check them out since after looking over their menu we saw they offered a lot of other yummy looking options. We arrived about 8:30 am on a Friday morning and most of the booths and tables were full. Overhearing conversations during our visit this is definitely a locals place, people knew each other. The interior is pretty small, there could not have been more than about 14 to 16 tables and booths combined. We happened to time it right because we walked in the front door and there were several tables available, we chose one and took a seat. As we sat inside, customers began coming in and we learned there is a waitlist outside which allows people to sign in and the servers frequently step outside to check in with the people outside and bring them in as possible. The menus are already at the table, so we began looking it over. When our server stopped in, she welcomed us and took our drink orders. We asked a few questions about the menu and she was very helpful and accommodated some small tweaks to our orders. My wife ordered the main street scramble with no cheese and fresh fruit rather than potatoes. We also learned they bake fresh white bread daily and we could even see the loaves in the kitchen from our table, they looked incredible. The marionberry jam bottle is already at your table, ready to squeeze onto the delicious bread. I ordered the country fried steak Olivera which included eggs, potatoes and toast. We were shocked how quickly our orders arrived and they were big, beautiful, and looked delicious. Everything tasted as good as it looked, and we both ended our meals with the toast and jam, which was a perfect way to end our meal. We saw several orders of the French toast being delivered to various customers and it looked absolutely incredible! We believe each order includes three large pieces and suggest ordering for your table to enjoy as a breakfast add on/appetizer. Wildwood Café is definitely a must stop when visiting the area. It was absolutely delicious!

The French toast will change your entire point of view on a good breakfast. It was so big! Magic happens in their kitchen. I went in as soon as they opened their doors and they were pretty full by the time I left around 7:30. This is definitely a well loved place.

Decent menu offerings. Coffee was decent. Ordered the omelette with bacon, onion and avocado. The omelette was relatively small and didn't fully form around the stuffing/innards. The bacon was finely chopped but stuck together and the onions were fairly big. The potatoes were sliced and fried. They had little flavor, other than potato. Some were crispy like a potato chip and others were soft and floppy. The house made bread was tasty and I liked the marionberry jam.

The Downtowner (scrambled & bacon) & John's Way omelette.

It's a nice café with decent variety. Got the Downtowner & friend got the John's Way omelette. It's usually busy on weekends and I've never been here before. Came on a Tuesday morning. Some people had to wait for seating. Would be perfect if the place was bigger but great food & service.

Their food was great, service excellent and the ambiance was perfect! There are also all kinds of nice shops within walking distance!

Just an all around great little neighborhood spot. You could tell it was filled with locals and regulars. Service was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast portions were huge and it was home cooking at its finest. Don't miss the homemade marionberry jam.

Just ordered some basic breakfast, delish!

Cute breakfast spot. It's not a large place and they do get busy so be prepared to wait a bit for a table if you go during peak hours. We got lucky, walked right in and there was an open table. The menu had a lot of good items and I didn't know what to choose. We ordered some basic breakfast stuff. Eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, you can't go wrong with those. Food was great. Service was great. I have no complaints. One of the reasons I really enjoyed eating here is because it reminded me of a restaurant I used to eat at with my grandparents when I was just a small child. It has that old fashioned feel and I adore it. Can't wait to come back.

Traci is a ROCKSTAR!! Iced coffee, please'

Oh, my goodness! What a great experience! Went on a Wednesday morning and there was no wait. Traci, our waitress, was AWESOME!! I wanted an iced black coffee. They don't have cold coffee, but Traci engineered a wonderful solution (see pic). She put a cup of black coffee into a pitcher of ice and brought me another full cup of ice!! It was cool enough to pour on the ice when my breakfast arrived. Our bartender the night before had recommended the French Toast so we both got the Double Downtowner - 2 pieces of French Toast, 2 eggs, and meat. I chose bacon, he chose the sausage Patty (it's cooked fresh to order - the links are precooked). Wow! The French toast is huge! Their own fresh bread coated in granola!! So delicious! One slice would have been plenty, but I ate both because it was so good. Will definitely return when I'm McMinnville!

Crescent Cafe, kudos, you've done it again! We discovered Crescent about a year ago at the recommendation of a friend who used to live in McMinnville. We tried it then and we were very pleased with our experience. We returned again today. Met by a friendly staff, we did have a bit of a wait but that was on us... we failed to make a reservation. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait! They accommodated all 6 of us in less time than predicted. We were seated at a lovely table in the front of the restaurant and met by a lovely waitress who was so bubbly, friendly, and kind. Coffees showed up quickly and our orders were taken quite promptly. The atmosphere was lively and the staff was attentive. Food. They just do dang good here. First, yes we know what is coming now... THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK AN EGG TO ORDER! Second, the food is fresh and piping hot... hashbrowns are perfectly crisp, and the ham was delish! Overall, what more can I say? Huge portions, we each ate / drank cofee for ~$20/each and left with leftover boxes. Crescent Cafe knows how to do brunch. They thrive in all areas, you can't go wrong. Next time you're in McMinnville for the weekend, make sure you stop in for a fabulous brunch!

It was not greasy or oily in the least. It was so, so, so good. HEAVEN. I got the daily special of the pastry instead of toast and it was sour cream coffee cake - not too sweet, with the right amount of cinnamon swirl and delicious crumble on top. It was also tender and moist. So good! They also do a mean poached egg (those are hard and can be messed up easily). Friendly service, hometown feel, yummy food.

The restaurant was incredibly clean, quiet, and had a lovely, welcoming ambiance. You can tell it is a family-run business, which we loved supporting. The absolute highlight of our service was the young boy working behind the counter. He was absolutely adorable! He greeted us warmly, explained the menu in great detail, and carefully asked for our food preferences. I was incredibly impressed by his professional mannerisms and maturity. The food was equally fantastic. The Basil Fried Rice and Curry Chicken Puffs were the standouts of the night. Even my picky 9-year-old loved them, which is a huge win, though they did have a little kick for her spice preference. The Pad Thai was very flavorful. The Pad See Ew was also packed with flavor, though our personal preference is to have a bit more of that traditional wok-char flavor, which we felt was missing. We ended our meal with some boba teas. It was so impressive to watch that same young boy make the bobas all by himself and serve them to us!Overall, it was a wonderful, pleasant experience. I highly recommend that people try out this hidden gem. Let's show this family-run business some well-deserved love!
