0/10. I don't know if people still read these or not. But hopefully I can save someone the disappointing experience we just had. The server completely butchered our order, both food and drinks. My wife ordered and pointed to a non alcoholic drink, and the server brought her a drink with alcohol. I pointed it out and he took her drink back, only to come back with a new drink that had alcohol AND a separate shot with it- the complete opposite of what we ordered. I ordered a Rajun Cajun Bloody Mary and it didn't even come out until the end of our meal. I almost canceled it due to how long it took to come out. But I tried it, and really wish I would've just canceled it. All of the toppings were cold, old, and totally bland. The sausage was a cold grease ball. The bacon was cold and disgusting, and bacon wrapped shrimp was the size of a penny and cold, rubbery, and tasteless. The rim of the glass was smothered in tajin, making the drink way too spicy and unenjoyable. My mole chilaquiles was an absolute disaster. The server upsold me on adding carnitas. When the dish came out, there wasn't any carnitas. The server took the dish back and when it finally came back out, the chips were soggy, the carnitas was dry and rubbery, eggs were straight cold, and everything was just mushed together. It was down right gross. The server dropped the ball, and the kitchen and bar didn't do anything to make the situation any better. $84 for a disgusting meal and terrible service, ensures we will not be back any time soon. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Village, that will get your order right and have good food, and I highly recommend you support them instead of Farmer's Table. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places. Today was disappointing. I ordered the salmon Benedict which comes with house potatoes. The Benedict was decent. Not the best. Not the worst. Here is the disappointing part. I tasted the potatoes. I thought they tasted strange. I got the sense that they were fried with meat. I asked how they were prepared. The server told me they were fried. I asked if they were fried with meat. She said that she would check. She came back and said, "They were fried with other potatoes, oh and just chicken. Would you like me to get different potatoes." I replied, "Not if they are fried with chicken!" They should disclose that potatoes and chicken are fried together. People have various food allergies and preferences. I'm a pescatarian and didn't appreciate that information being withheld. Second issue is that we received the bill. The Benedict was a weird price. Not what I recalled. We inquired about it, and she replied that there is a surcharge for eggs. I understand the Bird Flu had an impact on the cost of eggs. Just increase the price for the Benedict. The surcharge is ridiculous. Anyway, maybe they caught me on a bad day but today was not a good day for me at The Farmer's Table. read more

I tried the mole chilaquiles and it was super flavorful, I even had leftovers for my flight the next day. Went last night with some mom friends and we had a great experience! Decor and ambiance were very unique and farm fun - even the glassware were nice touches. Service was the best I had in a very long time anywhere! Our server was fantastic, kind, super funny and patient! He made our well deserved night out that much better! He deserves a bonus :) All wait staff were very nice and welcoming! We went for the happy hour menu and chose chicken pesto pizzas, which were yummy, especially loved the crust. I went here for breakfast with my boyfriend and this place was so good! I loved the location and the inside was really warm, inviting and comfortable. Our server was super friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. I got the Tijuana Birria Benedict with black beans and it was delicious! I cleared my plate. My boyfriend got the Tijuana Birria Omelette and it was super meaty, the server actually recommended this and it did not disappoint. He got the potatoes as his side and they were super flavorful. We both got Mexican mochas which were delicious and they use cafe moto coffee which is a plus, because they are local and have amazing coffee. I would like to preface this by saying I've never given a bad review on Yelp. But, unfortunately, I feel the need. We went there on a late Sunday afternoon (myself, my daughter, and my granddaughter). We asked to be seated on the patio and were told no. They then seated us in the area that lines the street side. The waitress came by and said someone would come by with water and she'd be back to take our order. We asked her for crayons for my granddaughter and she stated "they were all out". My granddaughter had seen a bucket of them at the stand outside where people are greeted. When the younger woman came to give us our water, we again asked for crayons and she said no problem, that she would bring them to us which she did. We waited for the waitress to come.....10 minutes, 15 minutes, and at almost 20 minutes, we walked out and took our business elsewhere. During the time we were waiting, the waitress walked by our table to another table. My daughter said to her "we are ready to order", thinking she would come by after she went to the table she was going to. She did not. I was very disappointed as we had been to this restaurant at least five times prior. I don't think we will be going back. As we were leaving, my 8 year-old granddaughter said "why don't they like us?" Not what you want to hear. One good thing.......we discovered a lovely restaurant just down the street named Limoncello. read more

I have been here for dinner a couple of times and it was great! I came for brunch for the first time today, the service was terrible and the food was not much better. Our server was mostly absent, the big brunch rush was already cleared out and the lunch crowd had not arrived yet. Our drinks came after our food and probably only because I tracked down a manager to ask for it. My omelette was cold and the cheese was congealed by the time I got it. No one ever came by to ask if we needed a refill. It took an excessive amount of time for our server to come take our order and again was after we had to flag her down. I do not recommend. read more

I ordered the pull pork omelette. size was small in my opinion. It came with a side of potatoes and choice of bread. Problem is it came with a side of ketchup and butter. the ketchup had old ketchup on the bottom and on top newer ketchup (same with my husband's plate) It was also dirty. Did not appreciate that. I came here on Christmas Day 2024 with three other ladies I didn't know. I ordered Chilean sea bass for $34.95. Not many restaurants have this fish on their menu which I was kind of surprised because it's supposed to be a natural food restaurant serving sustainable crops but Chilean sea bass is one of those fishes on the do not eat list because it's overfished. Also, it is notably high in mercury content and "not recommended to eat this fish (AKA Patagonian Toothfish) more than 2 x a month. So I found having this fish on their Chef's Special menu not in sync with this restaurant's focus. But the fish was very tasty and the broccolini was real sweet and crispy. But the mashed potatoes were cold... so cold that I decided not to make a scene with a very busy server by sending the mashed potatoes back in front of these new ladies I was just meeting. I would just take it home in a box and heat it up at home. Cos long ago, when I went to a restaurant with Sierra Club Singles, the leaders of that group kicked me out of SCS because they said I embarrassed them by making demands of the server, about my food not being right. Otherwise I would have given this restaurant five stars. The server Virginia B. was very efficient and she took great care of us and came to our table many times to pour us in our glasses over and over again. Very attentive . Pictured below is my Chilean sea bass fillet on top of broccolini all on top of the beet mashed potatoes. Second picture is another diner's filet mignon blue rare and third picture is her caprese salad which looked like a Hostess snowball. We even looked up Hostess snowball on our phones and the shaved cheese looks like the coconut flakes on the Hostess snowball. The food taste was excellent except the mashed potatoes were cold. Tiramisu was very good too. I rate the food taste five stars but the cold mashed potatoes kind of made my entree not want to eat it when I was there cuz I could only think of making it all hot when I go home. One of the ladies even commented you didn't eat your entree . I told her that the potatoes were really cold and I was going to heat it up at home and besides that I went to a lunch buffet with another family of 25 people that ended at 1:30 and we had an early dinner at 4:30 here at Farmer's table. read more
