Truly wish I could scrub the Karen's off! Let me start by saying this is a diner. It looks like a barn! We love it. My family and I have been coming here to eat since the 90's. The food is America diner greatness and lots of light options & really good Mexican comfort food! All the staff is so kind, patient, and friendly. They always have ice cold drinks, good music, and so clean. Who doesn't love a comfy booth?

We had a great time Saturday night line dancing! Great food, inexpensive drink menu! $5 beers! Super nice owners! Highly recommend!

It's a bit empty but I have high hopes.

I feel terrible giving only 3 stars but they earned it. The service was just terrible. There was almost no one in the restaurant but we were sitting for at least 5 minutes before anyone approached us. Coffee please. And never came by to refill. We had to ask. Our server brought my pancakes (I ordered omelet with pancakes) and no syrup. My husband had to go and ask for it (we did give it time). Several minutes later I received my omelet. I'd like to say the food was AMAZING!! The pancakes could be the best I've had. The omelet, while a tad overcooked was quite good and loaded with veggies. The home fries were just this side of burnt and I love them that way. I cannot figure out what took so long...the restaurant was practically empty. If you look at my reviews I almost never say anything negative. I figure anyone can have an off day and I don't want to judge based on that. But this was extremely disappointing. It's near our home and I have reviewed before. We will give them another chance but not sure when. Also it smelled funny. I hope they can fix that. Sorry Farms House but I'm only stating my experience.

    Not good

Very disappointed in my visit today at farmhouse, been a couple years since I last came but the food is not at all how I remember. Food was cold and the price is not justified at all. Spent almost $70 and still left hungry because the food was inedible. The server noticed how displeased I was with the food but didn't even offer to take anything off the bill or give a discount at least. Very cold / soggy and reheated food. Used to only have a problem with the lunch/dinner of this restaurant but sad to see the breakfast has also taken a massive hit. Used to love this place but very disappointed to see what it is now.. not good and do not recommend

Well decided to try this place and it was definitely disappointing. First its actually in the building with another restaurant/bar that serves seafood. So if you see the sign for Mariscos you'll have to go to the bar that's only open for dinner. The food was disappointing for each of us (wife and teenager). Each meal was not worth going back for...only positive was the gravey on the chicken fried steak and the Chile Verde on my eggs. Oh and it was over priced to begin with but then we discovered the tiny noticed hidden on the table that the prices on the menu are the cash price...card price not shown. You had to use the QR code to see the true prices. Mind you this was not printed on the menu...at least not that we saw. We will not be going back. On a positive note the server was nice.

I have no great or amazing things to say about this place, nor any negative. This place serves a variety of things. Mexican, American, there is breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our waitress was super nice and friendly to our girls and was patient with me... I was having a difficult morning with my stomach since I had stomach surgery. She was very helpful and let me even order from the senior menu since I couldn't eat a lot and the foods are meant for older people with slower digestion. Our girls pretty much and all their good and my husband had no left overs. He liked it. The ambiance was bad either, it was quite and the old barn decor and build is nice. Clean and modern remodel did it justice. Overall not bad, but it wasn't like knock my socks off great.

Excellent Mexican breakfast with home fries that are cooked and seasoned to perfection. Don't trust the Karens giving this place low ratings.

On our way back to Phoenix from Disneyland. After 14 hours walking around the park, we slept in and took our time getting back home on a Monday. Wanted to get out of the LA/Anaheim traffic madness before stopping for a late breakfast/brunch. Found this big, red barn on the north side of I-10 and figured we'd give it a try. It was a great convergence of convenience, time, and family-owned comfort food. Great, friendly service, breakfast served all day, and a pretty good bar service. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary and I got a $4 margarita for the Margarita Monday special. It was almost 11am. Don't judge. Technically, we're still on vacation. Drinks weren't anything to write home about, but they were flavorful and you can't beat the price. We both ordered breakfast. My wife got the spinach, bacon, and cheese omlett with home fries and biscuits and gravy. I ordered the Ortega chile and Swiss omlett with Hash browns and a side of pancakes. Each of the entrees come with two sides of your choice. My wife liked her omlett, but we both agreed the Ortega Chile omlett was the better of the two. They were a good size. Not those oversized entrees some places serve, but just the right amount. Home fries were better than the hash browns. Both could use a little extra seasoning. Pancakes were standard and tasty. The Farm's House restaurant isn't a destination, but I give it an extra star because of you're travelling on I-10 to escape LA early in the morning, or have a late night craving on a late drive to or from LA, this is just a great and convenient place to make a quick, sit down meal. Why would you go to the Denny's next door when this place has better service, better food, is family-owned and served drinks all day with a pretty good, non-craft beer selection (they had one selection from Hangar 24 which is craft). I think we found a new pit stop between LA and Phoenix!

We were in the mood for some Japanese food and this place popped up so we headed on over! The street looked completely abandoned so it was a little weird. We luckily found parking right up front and were greeted by the lady bartender. She was chatting with a few guys at the bar but otherwise the place was empty for a Saturday night, maybe because it was still during the holidays. The music was loud but played some great classic r&b and hip hop songs. We walked to sit at the high tables at the back and Leslie, the bartender, came over to bring us water and menus. We ordered some small stuff, house dumplings and their crunchy roll to share. I guess I didn't read it properly but didn't expect the roll to be soy paper which wasn't a big deal at all! The crunchy tempura bits on the top were yummy and overall a solid roll but could barely finish it. The gyoza were great though! They had some game shows playing on the tvs like ninja warrior and all that. Not a bad spot and probably better for drinks rather than food. Leslie was super sweet and made sure to keep checking in on us! IG: @ammysalamii

I only did that because we had my 83 year old handicap grandfather and our small dog with us on a hot day so I was hoping to just get some water for both of them. Instead she continued to have the worst attitude I ever experienced from a restaurant staff member. To the owners, I highly recommend you watch tape of her attitude towards me, and watch my poor grandfather have to hobble out of your establishment due to your terrible employee. She claimed to be the only one working so it should be easy to figure out who she is, she didn't have a name tag on. She should be fired. We were there today, which is 6-1-26 at 11:40am if you have any aspiration to better your business, I encourage you to watch camera footage of her terrible attitude towards your customers. Anyhow, all that talking got us hungry, and I had to be careful with what I could eat thanks to a temporary crown from a root canal. Yikes! As such, Dad suggested this restaurant in a shopping center in Beaumont that's easy to overlook because it's surrounded by healthcare offices. It was a Sunday evening, and we could watch sports, and unbeknownst to us, lots of karaoke (varying degrees of talent), while we dined. My soft food of choice was the lasagne. Our friend got the Mac and cheese, while Dad went for the spaghetti and sausage. Service was good considering how busy the restaurant was. Lots of families and groups were there, and the food arrived before too long, so props to the kitchen staff. Full marks for portions, appearance, and how warm the meals were upon arrival. I had to be careful, but with some enjoyment lost from eating slowly in one side of the mouth, I realized this was a very good lasagne. The Mac and cheese looked great, too, and Dad commented on how good the sausage was. I ate everything except for the garlic bread, due to my situation. A small nibble suggested full flavor, but it wasn't worth the risk since my dentist office was closed until Tuesday. All-in-all, I would come back if I found myself in the area.

However as we sat seated for about 5 minutes I saw her seat another table (2 guests) and when the female asked for a booth same hostess looked around and said ok and moved them over from the table to a booth again quite a few booths were open. Our server was very attentive and informed us of the dinner for 2 special (salad, asparagus, loaded mashed potatoes, lobster tail and bone in rib eye) for $208. Not a bad deal and we were already going to have the rib eye and share. He also substituted the loaded mashed potatoes for wedge potatoes for my husband. We ordered our steak med-rare however when it arrived it was pretty dry, I cut the fat cap off and found it dry, chewy and tough for a rib eye lacking flavor, I had to ask for salt. The lobster tail was a good size but also was overcooked (rubbery) when we tried to cut through it we found it had a tough texture and even though we used a steak knife it didn't easily cut. The rib eye had a heavily charred crust almost burnt on one portion, between the 2 of us we didn't even finish 1/2 and only had 2 bites of the lobster tail. We had them pack up all the remaining food. The table bread and 2 flavored butters were our favorite part of the meal sadly.

We then waited atleast 5 minutes to be given a menu by a different waiter. When we asked if we could order our food, the bartender snapped at me and said, I asked if you wanted a drink first. (Mind you I had asked for a non alcoholic so I wasn't drinking) The bartender seemed unable to manage making drinks and taking our food order and it wasn't very busy in the restaurant. There was no reason for the bartender to respond rudely or even make us wait when we were the only 2 patrons at the bar. Good customer service goes a long way, and this experience left me feeling very unwelcome. I hope that bartender improves his customer service and communication because the way we were treated was disappointing.
