Had the worst breakfast I have EVER had. The food was cold and it took 45 min. to be served. We saw it sitting on the shelf to be served and the waiter was busy chatting. Then when he did finally turn around it still took him another 5 min. to actually start serving it. The eggs were rubber, the potatoes undercooked when we asked for them well done and the coffee tasted like watery dirt. We had ALL the food sent back and it still came back cold, not recooked but even worse since they microwaved the over easy eggs. They just poured more gravy on the biscuit rather than redo it. The first order took 45 min to get and the second took less than 5 min....hmmmmm, yeah, they didn't recook a thing. We will never go back again. I told the assist. mgr and she said it's because they were busy. Not the customer problem and we paid full price so no excuse. read more

Have eaten here about three or four times when I am out in Banning, The food is good and plentiful and the wait staff are super friendly. Today we were served cups of their chicken fettuccine soup on the house. It was the best soup I've ever had-seriously!!! Ordered a bowl to go. The food was horrible! The service was good but no amount of good service is going to make up for bad food. Specifically, we had salads; Chef for me and steak and shrimp for my girlfriend and they both came out with a layer of water at the bottom of the plate which made the lettuce soggy and unappetizing. I honestly thought I was going to get sick from eating mine, it was That Bad. Although the food is alright, the workers at this restaurant will tell you a short wait time just to make you stay. My family came in at the busy hour of 11:10 am, and were told that our party of 4 would only have to wait 25 minutes. We wanted to eat here so we waited, but twice the amount of time they told us. Our first time here. Wasn't really impressed. Not a 3, more like a 2 1/2 star. I got country fried steak and eggs. The chicken fried steak was really greasy. It didn't taste fresh. It tasted like it was frozen. The home fries had decent flavor. The eggs were done good. I also had a side of pancakes. They were bigger then I thought. They were decent. My wife got the meat skillet. They put a lot of cheese (too much) on top. Sausage tasted a little funny. The fruit cup wasn't all that. All in all, we could've gotten this from Denny's. read more

We came here instead of Casino Morongo. We typically have good food and great service. This time is was not the case with the food. Service was great. Norma was extremely accomdating. We ordered a starter of potato skins. For lunch had a Turkey melt that was suppose to be made with swiss cheese along with potato salad. My husband ordered the super melt with fries. Our potato skins didn't come out first they came out with our meals. The skins were nothing like the picture they have posted on yelp. All nice looking potatos that were made with tender loving care. These bad boys looked as though they were over cooked or left WAY TOO long under the broiler. They were greasy and just plain ugly to look at and eat. I tried my "homemade" potato salad, which should have been called pickle salad with a hint of small diced red potatos. I couldn't stomach the taste of it and wonder if the cooks actually taste what they are making for the public. My poor Turkey melt was jipped on it's cheese, the cook prepared it with american and not swiss. It's really hard to screw that up, one is orange and the other is white with holes in it!! We spoke to our sever and the manager about these issues, she removed the charge for the potato skins that were inedible. I spoke to the manager and asked if there was this much pickles in their potato salad, he stated he does not eat that nor macaroni salad. I suggested that he go in the back to sample what his cooks are putting out for his customers, especially if there are complaints. Service was good but the food needs inprovement in my humble opinion. So, this restaruant in now on our do not distrub list of restaruants to avoid for the next 6 months. read more

We came in a week ago and had strawberry blintzes, eggs, 3 meats and pancakes. The waitress was slow, spilled the salsa and didn't replace it, and couldn't seem to remember to bring me a napkin. Breakfast wasn't as good as "Gramma's" and the pancakes weren't like IHOP's, but certainly respectable. So, we opted to try them for dinner tonight. It took awhile to be seated, both times, but not unnervingly so. The first thing asked was if we wanted margaritas (this happened at breakfast also). My husband and I both ordered the garlic shrimp dinner. After almost 20 minutes, the waitress offered us free clam chowder (to compensate us for the wait.) When the meal arrived, the shrimp still had their tails and half their shells attached. Huh? The small, obviously pre-cooked cocktail shrimp were tough, and the medium sized "jumbo shrimp" has zero seasoning. The mixed veggies had zero seasoning. The mashed potatoes were borderline cold. We were asked if we wanted gravy, and a flavorless brown sauce was presented. At breakfast, the manager checked on us and another waitress asked how our meal was. At dinner, no one asked boo hiss. Guess they already knew. Would we recommend? No. Are we coming back? No. And judging from some of the other comments posted, management either isn't reading them or just doesn't care. read more

My wife and I had visited this particular restaurant however it has been at least a year since we have been there and it is not the same place. In fact the restaurant has changed it's whole theme from country kitchen comfort food to Mexican bar and grill. But we gave it a shot because it looked newly renovated and cozy enough to give it a try. Let me first say I really don't like to give negative reviews on restaurants because I realize how difficult it is to operate same at a decent profit margin. That said however I'm compelled to place my review here today because my wife had food poisoning attack shortly after leaving this place. She ordered appetizer Egg Rolls that got her very sick. We had to stop down the road 2 miles to use the bathroom facility at Morongo Casino because it hit her that hard and fast. The egg rolls looked appetizing however had pieces of meat inside that we tried to figure out what kind of meat is was, we settled on must be pork but not 100% sure. The meat tasted strange after a few bites so she picked the meat out and ate the meal like that. This wasn't enough because the few bites she had already digested did the damage. The restaurant was almost empty and I truly believe they are not getting enough business to operate the place so they must be desperate to keep product beyond what would be considered safe however slow business or not they should know better and that is why I'm writing this review read more

Not sure why many have low reviews on this place. Went in at 10am on a Sunday. Did they brunch buffet for $16.99 (free glass of champagne) Most of their food is Mexican. (Not complaining) Plates ranged from enchiladas, to costillas, menudo, pozole, albondigas, waffles, make your-own omelet, eggs, bacon (LOTS), sausageand really good pan dulce. When this restaurant reopened a few months ago I rated it with 5 stars. Sadly, that rating is changing as the quality has gone down substantially. We stopped in for dinner, I ordered a salad with Buffalo dressing, the wife ordered a hot open faced sandwich. The dressing on chicken was so heavy and hot I could not eat all of it, her sandwich had brown gravy from a can. Service was fair but not outstanding, had to request the server provide a couple of things they forgot to bring with the meal. The restaurant still appears clean and well maintained in the customer area, it is hoped that the quality of the food returns to the same level at the opening. read more

I was driving home from palm springs with my idiot ex husband..we were a bit hungry And Unlike fatso hubby I don't like to eat fast food so ..while driving I notice this huge red rooster statue and think..that s cool let's go there Well me fatty wasn't too thrilled but I was excited,we pull in,park and make our way in. THE inside isn't fancy but right away the smell of delicious food starts making me hungry..there was a bit of a wait.we sit in the back by the bar..we order I had a salad and sandwich fatty eats a burger..we find the food was not only fresh but very very good.They have a fabulous ice tea I couldn't get enough of.service was VERY good..very attentive. 11/15/21 @ 1pm - dined in for 2; seated fast; service was decent; ordered buffalo chicken salad and Florentine skillet; the salad was difficult to eat (large chunks of tomato and large rings of onion plus super spicy chicken). Once I struggled to slice the huge tomatoes and onions in the overflowing bowl, I added the ranch dressing, and the salad turned into a weird looking and tasting mess. The floretine was delicious with tender yet crispy potatoes. I would eat here again for the floretine skillet again, but everything on the menu was way overpriced for just decent edible food. I asked for some salsa and as someone who loves salsa found theirs to be amazing. Great coffee, server brought refills on time too. (I now think he stright out lied about that!) So I pay for my drinks (two for me, one for my friend). Now I have to searchto find someone that can get my bill for the Nachos. Finally, I find a waitress (not our server) while I'm waiting outside the kitchen trying to get someones attention. Asked for the bill for the Nachos only! I finally get my bill, pay for my Nachos. 15 minutes later here they come with the bill AGAIN! for 1 Beer, 3 Margaritas and the Nachos (remember, I was told I can't pay for food and drink together on one bill). Repeat telling them the situation AGAIN!!! 15 minutes later they bring the same bill for food and drink and give it to my friend to pay!!! FOR GOD'S SAKE GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!! This was based just on the food and the great service from Elma. She was so pleasant and a great waitress. We had some really good fried chicken. The portion was crazy generous and my husband was obsessed with his turkey avocado sandwich, which came on a croissant. The outside looks really cool (a giant red barn), but the inside decor is severely lacking. Really bright fluorescent lights, yellow walls and no decorations. Outside of that, the food was well priced and decent. Consider adding some fun eclectic decorations (like things found in a barn) and turn this into a must stop in Banning CA. read more

First off, the last time we tried to come here in April, we stood at the front desk waiting for someone to help us. We finally left. went there this morning, BAD IDEA!! After taking forever to seat us ( rang front bell even though they saw us standing there) we were ignored while the three groups after us got waited on. wait, it gets worse. so after ordering the one egg breakfast which said $7.99 on menu ( Was charged $9.99), the waitress served all the three groups before us first. WTH??? when the food finally came, it was cold and bacon was not cooked enough. The worst part was my biscuit and gravy, the biscuit was so hard I couldn't even cut it with a knife! why not take some extra time cooking the bacon, and less time baking the biscuits?.. and what about first come, first served??? This place is underrated! It isn't a place a beauty and grandeur but it's very clean. The floors, seating, tables and under the tables is clean. Something that's not done at most mid chain restaurants. The food is good as well. Omelettes, burgers, soups etc. Good variety and good quality! Lastly, the staff. Went to the Farm's House last night. Two people from our group were there. They had been there about 5 minutes. No one greeted them. I came in with another one of our group. Now 4 of us. Still no one said a word to use. They would walk right by us. Several times they walked by. Now it's 15 minutes. Our group is all there 9 . Still nothing. We walked to the back of the restaurant. One table had a couple. We talked about what that smell was. There was a smell that was really bad. After about 15-20 minutes with no one acknowledged we were there we left. Applebee's is around the corner. Fantastic service greeting was welcoming. Food was wonderful! Don't waste your time waiting at the FARM'S HOUSE! Go to Applebee's they like your business! Accidentally stumbled across this gem during a trip to the casino. Wasn't sure what to expect. Walked in to see giant cinnamon rolls the size of my head. The staff was quick and more attentive than I've witnessed in a long while. I ordered pulled pork, my Mom ordered the club sandwich. We shared onion rings and zucchini, that are tossed in a house homemade batter. Nothing frozen here! We spotted the fried chicken from across the room! Everything that comes out of the kitchen looks like it is ready for a magazine shoot! Absolutely amazing! We will make the trip here with the whole family when we oak glen for apple picking. read more
