Wow I am so excited for this business! The service, music, FOOD!! Absolutely delicious. This takes bar food to a new level. I tried the Diablo burger, onion ring tower, and club flatbread and save room for dessert but definitely get the cookie skillet!! My husband and I came here for a date night and decided to try Good Intentions--it definitely lived up to the hype. The Good Intentions Burger was so good..... juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they don't cut corners on quality. The wings were just as impressive, fried first and then smothered in sauce, which keeps them nice and crunchy. The mango habanero wings had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the BBQ wings were classic and packed with flavor. We also both ordered Modelo micheladas, and honestly, they were some of the best I've had... super refreshing and made just right. What really stood out though was the owner, so kind and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and treat you like family, which makes the whole experience even better. Stopped in for a late dinner last night. It was close to home and we had been wanting to try it. In spite of some of the online reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. We were seated right away. Our server was courteous and friendly. She brought us waters while we read the menu and decided on drinks. We were a little bummed that it wasn't a full bar but we tried the wine based cocktails and they were pretty good. Next came our food. There were three of us and we each ordered something different. We started with the pretzel and beer cheese. Excellent! Pretzel came out piping hot and the beer cheese was delicious. My son got the bbq burger and fries. Nice cook on the burger and the additions made for a well rounded meal. My wife had the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. Tenders were pretty standard fare but the fries were a little bland, overall satisfying. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings. The portion was very nice and the wrap was tasty. Misleading name, this is a dive bar with restaurant prices. We came thinking this was a hot new restaurant in Beaumont, but we were severely disappointed. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and it came out 30 minutes later luke warm. We politely told the server it was luke warm and we didn't like the taste. The server took it back and immediately another woman (who didn't introduce herself, didn't introduce her title, but who we later learned through asking, she was the owner) confronted us and asked "what was wrong with the dip" we explained it was luke warm and we just didn't like it. She said word for word, "well I tried it and its fine". Never in my life of WORKING IN RESTAURANTS and going to restaurants has management 1. Ever ate something AFTER a patron ate it, I think that's a health issue, and 2. confronted a patron like that. This wasn't led with curiosity like, "hey we're new and we'd love to hear more about why you didn't like it so we can learn". It was a shocked confrontation. Which is weird because reading some reviews, this dip has had complaints in the past. Even IF the dip was hot and fresh, patrons are allowrd to not like the taste of something and request it to be taken back. A restaurant isn't entitled for everyone to enjoy everything. She walked away in a huff and our meal took an extra 45 minutes. 2 sandwiches took almost an hour from when we actually ordered them. My chicken sandwich was cold upon arrival and looked like a frozen chicken patty you could get from a grocery store. We over heard the server apologizing to every table around us about the wait times of their food. I understand being new. I understand working out the issues. I don't understand being rude to patrons especially as a brand new restaurant hoping to make it. Avoid this place. If I could leave 0 stars I would read more
