I just changed to this eye doctor's office and I'm glad I did. I had been unhappy at my last practice and needed a change. The doctor (Leonard) spent a lot of time listening to me and trying to solve my vision issues. We did testing that my previous eye doctors have never done. I've got messed up vision due to a bad experience at a popular laser eye place that advertises on the radio. Because of that I have a power mismatch in my eyes that is so great, it doesn't allow for a pair of glasses to correct both eyes at the same time and give me a unified view. I like the location this place is at. It's not crowded. It's a little farther then I'd like to drive, but this experience has made it worth it. It has a big waiting area and looked like an excellent selection of frames. I just left with a couple prescriptions as my current glasses are doing fine and my vision hasn't shifted enough to matter since my last prescription at the previous eye doctor. read more

We've seen Dr Farr since his Lenscrafter days. We continue to see him, even though he moved farther away from us. He is patient and thorough, and takes time with the patients. Which is great. I really can't add much to my last review. He's not an ophthalmologist, but he is very knowledgeable about eye conditions, and even prescribed some medication for eye irritation this last time. Dr. Farr has changed locations. He is no longer in the Chandler mall. He is now at the SW corner of Alma School and Elliot in Chandler. This location is much better suited for him. It is very spacious and nice inside. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Farr is THE BEST eye doctor in town. He is so caring and extremely precise with what he does. He is the only one I trust my eyes with. If you are looking for an eye doc, I highly recommend him! All of your needs can be satisfied in one place...exam, glasses, contacts. I was previously a patient while in the mall. I opted to follow my records which meant I tried the private practice. I was very impressed with Dr. F and the thoroughness of the eye exam I received. For an exam, I definitely recommend this practice. When it came to selecting new glasses, I found the frames a bit more expensive than "mall" prices. That being said, the gentleman who helped me actually recommended places to go for lower cost frames. THAT is customer service! Actions like that are how you earn referral business! Oh my....I simply can't say enough good about Dr. Farr. I've been seeing him for over seven years and would think of going to no other. Dr Farr is the best eye doctor I have seen in my 40+years of going to eye doctors. I had one daughter that kept getting her prescription changed every visit to other doctors. Dr Farr said "why is she wearing glasses?" She had one eye that was a little weak but the other was fine. She is much happier now. He sent me to another eye doctor to have something checked on. I had my son in for a visit and I mentioned the report from the other doctor on myself. Dr Farr had me sit in the chair to see what had concerned him. He really has a passion for eye care. read more

Dr. Farr was fantastic, thorough and polite. Would definitely recommend him; however the staff experience was extremely poor. The young woman who tried to assist with getting my insurance processed was very polite and attempted to help. After 3-4 attempts of trying to run my insurance, it was obvious she was new, which was not a problem. The young man was not supportive to her. She asked for help, he gave her minimal assistance. He finally assisted but was rude, short, unhelpful, and gave the perception that it was my problem that they could not verify the insurance. After his 3-4 attempt, he finally figured it out and it went through. Another young woman who brought me back for the eye testing was also dismissive, short, rarely interacted or explained what was happening. Her cold service made the testing uncomfortable, and because she was not explaining what was happening or providing direction it took 3x longer than it should have. By the time I got done with her and the front desk, there was no level of service by the doctor that was going to be acceptable or that could turn my experience around. The doctor was great and I would like to use him again; however, the staff was so horrible that I sincerely doubt I would ever return, despite this being the closer and most convenient location. I would rather drive another hour to the next nearest location than deal with this staff again. read more

This clinic is inside LensCrafters in the chandler mall and I went in there with my husband and we both were happy with how we were treated. They were nice and quick and professional and clean. Going to an eye doctor isn't my idea of fun but the staff here is really nice and they work quickly so it went by fast. I liked them. However the LensCrafters will never get my business again. They messed up my prescription. And had to reorder my glasses. Then didn't call me when my new ones arrived. Then the lady heated up the part between the lenses to make them straight and ruined the anti glare. And was really rude. I ended up returning them and trying to just pick something else but when I did the return I found out it goes back to my insurance and I wasn't stuck buying from them so I left. And went to target optical down the street and LOVE the way I was treated. They had better frames for my small face, coach frames are really nice on small/petite faces and they had a better selection. Plus the guy there was so nice. I'm going back to target optical when I get my next glasses. Boo this LensCrafters! Lol read more
