I had my annual eye exam today. I can openly admit that I have a very high level of anxiety being in close proximity to anyone during this pandemic. The waiting area was nicely spread out for social distancing and there was just enough staff on site to take care of the client's needs. My appointment was at 11, I got there at 10:58. I was checked in immediately and was taken to the back room to remove my contacts just moments later. The tech, Jacob, didn't touch anything, he just directed me to where I could find what I needed and offered the complimentary bottle of solution and contact case. All the pre test machines were clean and sanitized. I was offered, but never pressured, to do more than the normal tests. I really appreciate that they don't push the upsell on their patients. Jacob did a fantastic job!!! Dr. Farr performed the regular eye exam and was very pleasant to work with. The downside of wearing a mask during the exam is that all the lenses will fog up rapidly. I found myself holding my breath a bunch. The exam was quick and painless, and he reassured me that even though I am aging, my eyes are still doing well. That was a huge relief. Here comes the anxiety part. When we went back to the contact room to gather my new contacts, I noticed that my hands were very red and got extremely self conscious. I had been clasping them together so hard during the entire exam that I wasn't even aware of it. I thought I had broken out in a spell of eczema again. Thankfully the redness dissipated. The rest of the exam was completed a few minutes later and I was taken up front to order my new glasses. I requested that the lenses be placed in my old frames because I absolutely love them. On the great side, they can do that. I did have to sign a waiver that they aren't responsible for any damages, should they occur. On the not so great side, I will have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for their return due to delays related to COVID. That is a small price to pay at this point. I typically go in for both contacts and glasses just in case I find myself needing one over the other. My insurance covered part of the costs, it is never enough in my opinion, but that is neither here nor there. All in all, I can highly recommend The Eye Center. Dr. Stacy was fantastic last year, Dr. Farr was fantastic this year. You will be well looked after in a safe and clean environment. I was back in my car by 11:38. read more

I've been coming here for years. Recently there has been a change in a few staff members. My visit with the new doctor was fine, I left trialing a new script for my contacts and paid for the 2 boxes of contacts to be ordered in a few days. When I called to speak to Lorraine, I was placed on hold and then the other lady picked up the line and said "was this for insurance", "excuse me what are you talking about I asked?" She was rude and abrupt. So I let her know to please tell Lorraine to order my contacts the new script was good. My husband picks them up and brings them home and they are my old script. I called first this morning and never received an "I'm sorry this happened" or any apology of the sort, or reference to make it better. Lorraine said ok I will order the new script, I had to follow it up with ok, we will bring in the two boxes we just picked up etc. I've worked in healthcare a long time and know that people have a choice now when searching for providers. The office staff makes a huge impact on determining whether or not to return to a clinic. read more

I have been coking here for approx 9 years. I love the service and the personal feel of this place. The staff is always polite and always provide amazing customer service. Dr Stacy was always a hoot, always very personable like the rest of his staff. He has since retired so I had the pleasure of meeting dr Brian F. He was just as dr Stacy was. Very personable very relatable and you can tell he loves his job and cares about his pt's. My daughter has been going here as will my son when he's a little older. I highly recommend this place and def give them a 10 out of 10!!!!! read more

Very friendly service here--I started this review about a year ago and never finished it. However, I now have another chance. This morning, my wife awoke with pink eye and a frown on her face. A call to The Eye Center and Dr. Stacy and they were able to squeeze my wife in on short notice. The infection wasn't too bad, and won't get any worse because he was able to get her a prescription for antibiotic eye drops. Dr. Stacy has always given us great service and is my choice for eye care in the Valley. I am eventually going to need new glasses one of these days and when the time comes, I'll be stopping by his office again. Five stars--enthusiastically recommended. read more

Dr Stacy is a miracle worker in my eyes!! I have been thinking I was quite literally losing my eyesight, as I already have a very high prescription, and my vision was getting worse and worse in my glasses. Dr Stacy actually listened to me when I was telling him what was wrong. Turns out my eyes really hadn't gotten much worse, my glasses were constructed wrong. He got my prescription perfect and his tech Casey was awesome at helping me select frames and he lined up my progressives the right way!! I just got to work and I can actually read my computer screen better than ever! I honestly can not thank you and your staff more!! I will recommend you to everyone who asks!! read more

I brought in my prescription to purchase some glasses. I picked out a frame, and ordered my new glasses. When they came in they were adjusted, as normal, and I could see wonderful! Later on they were hurting my nose, so I went back... a couple of times. I'm not prompt about going back due to my work schedule. So about the 3 (or 4th) time I went back Griselle waited on me. By this time I had moleskin on my nose piece and on the ear piece. Ouch. She saw the problem, warmed them up and WaaLaa!! No more pain! Griselle said that the frame was too thick on the sides for my "small" head and it was difficult to adjust for a good fit. She contacted the company and arranged to have a NEW pair of glasses made for me. So I am going to exchange the original pair for a pair that I AND Griselle agreed on! Griselle made all the difference in my visit to The Eye Center. I had just stopped on a whim the first time, and now I'm glad I did! read more

I've been going to this eye doctor for several years now. Very friendly employees and the doctors are as well. I've only have had Dr. Stacy who did all my eye exams and just this last visit I had a different doc because Dr. Stacy was off, which he was pretty cool. Although this was the only place I've been to and its the only place I can trust, when ordering contacts of a years supply it can get quite pricey even with insurance which eye exam and contact fitting can cost approx. $300 or more. But overall I like every visit and being able to have friendly people to work with. Good customer service is a must which is what they have. And plus side I get a sample pair of contacts to wear while waiting for the rest, which usually I get the next day that's pretty cool. Overall rating I give it 4 stars just for friendly service, but pricing is a bit high. read more

Been going to Dr. Stacey for years as well as my family members. His office staff as well as the Dr. are all wonderful!!

I used the online system and was able to score a same day appointment if I didn't specify the doctor. I arrived gave my insurance and it was a about 15 min before he took me back for the prescreen. Then when he took me to the examination room. The doctor stated he was taking a walk in before me even though I was next and had scheduled an appointment. It was already 30 min past my appt time and I was told another 20 minutes. I am very upset. If your going to treat patients who make an appointment this way why would I bother confirming. Next time I'll have no incentive to show up and you can be sure I'll be looking for a new office that doesn't disrespect their patients this way. read more

I was looking for a place close to home. This place is between my kid's school and our house. I started seeing Dr Stacy three years ago and he seems pretty cool. He can get really chatty and it takes awhile to get through the appointment sometimes, but I'd rather chat awhile than have some impersonal idiot. more than 5star for this eye center. i searched yelp for cheap eye center, i found some but this is the only cheaper but worth it eye center so far. i had a stye or chalazion on my right eyebrow, i also had this bump below my right eyebrow near the edge and a swelling as well. it gives me sharp pain every time i blink. and every time i wake up, there are this hard crusts on my eyebrows and at the end of my eye between my upper nose that was really annoying. dr. stacy is the one who checked my eye and he was very nice to me and his staff as well. i would definitely recommend this to all. fyi, i do not even have any insurance at all yet i only paid $ 69.00... great job! read more

I went here for a Lasik exam and a regular eye exam. Both doctors are very nice and professional. Front office staff as well as Lasik staff are very nice and not trying to sell you something. The whole experience has been probably the best I've had of any eye store/eye doctor. I felt the need to give them a review because they are all genuinely helpful and interested in what I want and what's best for me. They are a smaller store compared to the large chains but the experience here is far better. read more
