I wanted to love this place, but even after a handful of visits in the last year I am disappointed with the slow service and decline in the quality of the pizza. Our last couple of visits the crust was soggy, which wasn't what I would've expected from a wood fire pizza. The wait times are unreasonably long. One of the times we left after being seated because we waited for 20 minutes and didn't even get waters. We thought we would give it one last try with takeout and even than had to wait 35 minutes for an order we had placed earlier in the day to be picked up at 5pm. I would have been better off getting a take n' bake from Papa Murphy's next door. I don't recommend this place unless you don't mind waiting over an hour. read more

This is the worst pizza we have ever had anywhere. What a huge disappointment and expensive too. The thin crust was soggy, the red onion looked liked the first layer one throws in the trash, the pepperoni was thrown into one pile and what sausage there was, was small crumbly dried bits and the Canadian bacon was less than fresh. To top it all off, it was so haphazardly sliced that none of the slices were of similar size. One was 7 inches, one was 2 inches. It was not even well presented and quite frankly, didn't taste very good! Three slices and into the bin it went. It looked like everything has been hurridly thrown on top. We won't be back. I wanted to add that this was a take out order, curbside pickup. So when my partner got home we opened the sealed box and were horrified at how unappetizing it looked. It wasnt even properly cut. Lacey location on Yelm Hwy can't even make a tasty cheese pizza. Mine was dry and barely had any cheese on it. I noticed the other takeout pizzas opened during checkout also had skimpy toppings. This was in January 2020, so the scaling back had nothing to do with COVID costs. Tiny parking lot with only one entrance makes carry out a chore. read more

Ok, so I've been coming here since the doors opened YEARS ago (Oly native!) and Farellis has always been a family favorite until about 2 years ago. It pains me to write this, but I feel we owe it to say why we no longer dine here. The food has always been so good, it's the place we treat our friends from out of town, but the past few years the pizza has been undercooked or burnt, new watery blue cheese/ranch sauce, NW Traditional now has a gross white sauce instead of the honey, and twice the pizza was cold upon pickup. I can live with all those things, but why in the world did you change your blue cheese and ranch sauces???? They were so good before and now it tastes like someone added water to both or even just mixed the two together. The staff has always been great and service is usually fantastic. I might revisit in a few years for nostalgic comfort and hopefully the recipes have returned to their formal glory. read more

Great food and beer. The pizza is always hot and fresh, other than the other crappy pizza place that's nearby(MOD). Since I live alone, I usually don't order boxes of pizzas, but I do order calzones, sandwiches and the chicken tenders. Last time I ordered, I got the country club sandwich, deluxe classic calzone and the hot n' tangy chicken tenders. Luckily I live near Farrelli's so I can walk to pick up my food to go. Even when I walk back home, the food is still hot and delicious. Sadly I don't order all that often, but that's because I always have plenty of food at home and I'm usually too lazy to walk lol. After getting glutened here some time ago, I was contacted by a manager, Clayton. He assured me that they had updated their practices in the kitchen and they are much more aware and gluten-free friendly. They only use rice flour in the kitchen now (not IN the gluten-full crusts, just to roll them out), so there shouldn't be any cross-contamination with flour flying around. He assured me that his staff has been educated in the way of gluten-free (careful with changing gloves, using separate cutters and pans). He encouraged me to come back and try them out again. We FINALLY made it back. Service was wonderful as ever! Our GF pizza came out and was delicous. But even better yet, I didn't get sick! The also added an entire GF section with pastas and such, I only had the pizza. I'm glad the manager reached out to me like that. I don't think I would have ever gone back. read more

If you think the bar area is a sports bar because they have a lot of great tvs playing the Hawks , all the customers are wearing gear, and they have pool tabs. DONT. You can't hear the game over the conversation. They don't care about the game. Good place for dinner with a group/family. Horrible for Sunday football, even when the Hawks are playing 49ers. Truthfully, I'm not quite sure how to write this review. We never got our meal, because for the first time in my life my family actually left the restaurant after almost an hour's wait for dinner on a quiet Sunday evening. I could make this a long review (and I almost did) about how everything fell apart..how after our order was taken the cooks never seemed to receive it because they continued to stand there chatting & waiting for tickets to be given to them.. and then magically, after a large party of 8+ arrived and had their orders taken, ours got put in AFTER theirs and we watched them get their food and had decided we were done waiting. How our server failed to acknowledge our crazy long wait (30 minutes for a SALAD??) after my husband had to ask if his salad was ever going to come.... You'd never get through my review. Or maybe you would, but I really dont feel like wasting any more time on Farrelli's than I already have writing it all out. I gave them 2 stars only because the server up front my husband spoke with in an attempt to pay for the drinks we had already consumed was apparently very apologetic and offered to give us our food for free. Was really hoping for delicious wood fire pizza. While it was good, it certainly wasn't great. Annie's Spicy Sausage Five Star Pizza was ultimately what we decided to try, Service was really lacking. Our server even laughed when she finally came back to take our order 15 minutes later saying "Ha Ha I forgot about you didn't I?!" Not, sorry or my bad. She then waited until we finished our pizza to ask if we wanted more beer. No, we would have liked more beer while we were still eating our pizza and once our beer ran out. Huge pet peeve of mine is allowing your customers to sit without drinks or with empty glasses. It was Thursday night and the bar area was packed because they were airing a preseason Seahawks game. We used to visit this place several times a month like once a week actually! It slowly started shifting from fast quality service to Sloooooowwwwww service. We started timing and placing bets how long it would take to get our pizza. It started with like 30-40 min from about 20 originally. Then it started taking 50-55. And unless we asked no one kept us in the loop. I decided (after we refrained from eating there for 2 months) to place an order for pick up. I placed the order an hour and a half before I wanted to pick it up. I was actual 20 min late picking it up because of construction. Guess what I then sat and waiting for another 20 min for them to finish an order I'd placed almost 2 hours prior. Pizza is good but not work waiting 1-2 hrs for. And no one ever says sorry or try's to make it right. Please bring back timely service and good customer care. read more

I called in to place an order, the guy on the phone was very unfriendly, maybe take some classes in customer service by the staff in Dupont? The food was beyond awful! Gluten free pizza almost $20 and it was chewy with no flavor. My spaghetti with meatballs, baeh! This is my favorite dish, always have it and now? It's in the trash. I left the meatballs out, but still got charged full price? My half size salad, i wanted a different cheese but I got non. For the price of $9? I got a site salad, Dupont charged me for that size , the side salad price. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. I just spend $50 to throw away. Walked in, saw a sign that said please wait to be seated so we waited. The girl up front saw us and didn't say a word while she was blowing up balloons. After a few minutes, we just walked in. Went up to the bar and the bartender was looking at his phone, then looked up and asked what we wanted. Next couple times we went up for drinks, he was still balls deep in his phone. The pizza was good and the drink selection is good, the service however was not. Probably won't be back. read more

Ordering took FOREVER. Yes, we asked to wait 2 minutes to wait to order our drinks for HH pricing... But we didn't expect to wait 20 minutes to order and receive drinks. The kiddos made pizzas which were very sparsely dressed with cheese. I asked if more cheese would be added and was assured more would be added before baking. Yeah. Right. This was some dry a$$ pizza that the kids didn't even want to eat. The Chop Chop Salad... Nothing special. Thanks for leaving out the croutons to make it gluten free. Speaking of gluten free... There really isn't much you can order gluten free unless you want a salad, skillet, or pizza. No appetizers or entrees. No pasta. Bummer. The first Bloody Mary was great... The second I asked that it not come with all the salami and cheese. Instead it comes with cheese and cucumbers doused in dressing. What?!? I wouldn't have questioned it but had already waited 15 minutes for it. Really?!? Some vodka and Mary mix?!? The service was ridiculously slow and the food was so sub par. A pizza that a child made came out 15 minutes before a SALAD. That's a problem. The server was covering way too many tables and clearly couldn't keep up. What is up with the Farrelli's Dupont restaurant? We went tonight. We were a group of 7. We were early, 4:30. The place was empty. It took over 10 mins for them to figure out where to seat us. The place was empty. I asked the waitress what a well drink was. She didn't know, so she went and asked. When she came back I told her I wanted a regular Bloody Mary. Not the fancy one on the menu, just a regular one. She asked if I wanted a good vodka with it. I said, no nothing expensive. When my bill came that drink was $8. I asked her about it and she said, "we only have one Bloody Mary" Really? Than why did you ask me if I wanted the fancy Stoli (hot) vodka? The soup and salad were fine. Except she completely forgot one member of our party's food. Forgot to put that part of the order in? When we were done we had to ask 2 times for our bill. Each time we asked we waited about 15 mins. We asked 2 different wait staff because our waitress was nowhere to be found. When she came she asked if everything was okay. "Yes, but I really need my bill" There are a lot of options for dining in Dupont. Farrelli's won't be high on my list to return. read more

I have been to Farrelli's multiple times for their Thursday trivia nights, which my friends and I find to be the best trivia in the Olympia area. The food is tasty, there is a great beer selection, the guy who runs the trivia is very good, and the crowd is always a lot of fun. We'll definitely go back to more trivia nights in the future. read more

My son and I were not very impressed with our experience at Farrelli's. The parking lot was packed (it's shared in a shopping complex), the service was really slow and the pizza was nothing to rave about. It seems the large bar on the other side of the main seating area is the focus of this place and maybe they excel at that. But not sure I will bother coming back to see for myself. read more

My husband hated their G-F pizza last time & ordered Chx Caesar salad-- so-so, fresh but NOT WORTH $16! I ordered 12" meat & cheese pizza using on-line w my phone. Went to pick up 20 min. later thinking they'd curbside deliver. No phone no. out there to call; I had to find # again! Nice young waitperson apologized they had no number in lot for customers to see. I'm truly split down the middle on this place. I've eaten here about a dozen times over the last few years. PRICES: TOO HIGH. C'mon it's pizza. DINING: Nicely arranged - choose from the family side the bar side. Bar side has the louder music the big screen tv's and pool tables! SERVICE: Wait staff is friendly BUT the service is usually slow. (sometimes REALLY slow) NOTE: As with many places... if you ask for NO TOMATOES you'll get them anyway. Just pick them off and sigh!!!! FOOD TASTE: Ranges from Good (pizza) to AWESOME (the salads! - especially the Mom's Salad!) Because of prices and wait time I'd probably go with a 2-star BUT I just learned in multiple other reviews how this place has a great gluten-free pizza and that just bumped them up a star! This place was a disappointment. We came in for happy hour and seated ourselves as directed. We sat there for about 15 minutes before we decided to get up from our table and find someone to at least get us some water. Our waitress was apologetic saying she "didn't notice us"... Okay, fine. So we order, our appetizer comes out promptly. We then wait for our pizza and when it arrives it is not what I ordered. She waitress apologizes profusely, let's us keep the pizza (which is covered in chicken and I can't eat it anyway) and scurries off to put in our original order. 15 minutes later our pizza arrives and we have a slice and box it up. Yes, okay we got a free pizza we can't eat but I felt it was silly we had to even pay for the one we ordered seeing as she made a mistake. We tipped well, but overall I would not return. Wasn't impressed with the service. From reading other reviews this seems to be a theme at this restaurant. I wonder if it has to do with what I witnessed while I was waiting for my food to arrive to my table? The pizza was yummy, our server was all things a server should be, and I'd definitely go back... if I happened to be on that side of town and needing some wood-fired goodness right that moment.
