Every time my wife and I go here it's always amazing. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the service is great. This time we went and our server SEEMED to only be interested in bachelors. Been waiting for over 1/2 hour for an oder of nachos. Over serving a group of people with way too many shots of whiskey. People staggering out to their car. Someone should make sure they don't over serve them. They are all drunk and are a risk to others when they drive home. I read the reviews before going and should have listened. Yelp is brutally honest, but Google had mixed reviews. So I went. My fettuccine Alfredo was good, but they didn't put the chicken in it that I requested. Nor were we charged for it. Lol so I guess our waitress just forgot... My side Caesar was huge and had bacon on it. Nice surprise there. My date got a mushroom burger and took two bites. "The fries are good." House red wine tasted old. You've been warned. And last but not least... they were playing weird music for a restaurant on a golf course. I didn't mind listening to Incubus and Eminem during dinner, but I feel like other people might? Finally tried this place, we had a really nice experience. Our waitress went the extra mile and was very friendly. It's a cute spot, it was a tiny bit noisy but we were sat a little closer to the bar. I had their chicken Marsala fettuccini and I loved it! I want to go back to have it again! Wow... has this place gone downhill! We decided to sit outside and grab a drink and some food after our round of golf yesterday. BIG Mistake! The only bright side was the terrific young lady trying to tend the bar and also serve food all by herself. The picture attached herein is of what was supposed to be a shot of tequila... barely enough to cover the bottom of the plastic glass. The margarita was just a glass full of ice and some mixer. The pink drink in the picture was supposed to be cosmo for my wife that was just a half full glass of lemonade. We ordered a burger and fries to share that was acceptable, mainly because the fries were done correctly and season nicely. All in all - $46 total so basically a 46 dollar hamburger! Similarly to the course, this place has been managed so poorly for so long that it is in a downward spiral of failure. A great facility that used to be popular with wonderful views and decent food has been run into the ground. The outdoor space was even roped off with yellow tape as if someone had been murdered. One of the most accommodating places to hang out. We never have to wait for a table, even on an Easter sunday afternoon. I love sitting in the sun, watching the golfers with my family and my dogs. The bun and the roll from both meals were very greasy !! The burger was sliding off the bun . The onion rings oily . The French dip bun was greasy as well . We both consumed only half of our meals :/ Shortly after we left we had to consume tums . The after taste of the meal was just bad and made us feel not want to eat anything else that day . This place was recommended to us by chance. My wife and I were going somewhere else and the place was closed until September, and there was a guy standing outside the tanning salon who saw our plight and told us to come check this place out. During lunch you seat yourself so that was a plus for me as I am picky about where I am seated. Our server was very prompt in asking us our drinks and let me tell you what! The beer list was HUGE!!!! Major plus for me as I am a beer snob at heart (of course I ordered a Mac N Jacks on tap). The lunch menu was phenomenal from first glance and I ordered their main burger (the fire creek) simply because it came with a fried egg and jalapeño!!!! As far as the ambience, I can see how it would be intimate if not for the lunch rush, so that was another plus for my wife and I. We have been eating here for many years and the last couple of years the food and service has gone downhill. This morning we stopped in for breakfast, no waitress anywhere, no greeter or hostess anywhere. After a few minutes I went in to the kitchen and asked someone if they could get us a waiter, he said they don't have any in the morning anymore andthe bartender was responsible to wait on tables, she came over took our order, the food came up in the kitchen, heard the bell, no sign of bartender even in bar, got tired of our food getting cold so I went into the kitchen myself and got the food, again absolutely no one around, had to go get our own silverware, this place is ridiculous, you've got one bartender serving alcoholics at nine in the morning while restaurant patrons are ignored. They already had eliminated all the experienced waitresses and hired a bunch of kids with no experience who will work for less. This is the perfect neighborhood bar. There's a restaurant off to one side and a bar with open seating on the other. The servers are super friendly and helpful and attentive. It gets pretty busy in the early evening on Tuesdays for taco Tuesdays and Wednesdays for their steak special, but somehow I've always been able to grab a seat. If you're there in the earlier times of day, there's the golf clientele of course but in the evening it's locals stopping in for a drink and dinner. It's a nice comfortable place to grab dinner and a drink. Love it. I personally tend to order the cheeseburger with extra pickles with fries. I just love them! Same terrible service (by a select few servers) and management refuses to make any changes despite several complaints from so many people. Back of house (cooks) still don't abide by food handling safety. No hair nets, no hand washing, no gloves. Just disgusting. Get the prime rib, trust me. It was perfect however I did have to send the first one back as I ordered rare- md rare and would have been happy with anything in that range. Heads up, after our last complaint about slow service, we came in today and were refused service because we had made a comment about slow service last time we were in and they remembered us. So if you have a problem with anything, don't say anything because they may refuse you service too. So our family of five that drove from Tumwater just to eat there because it was a neighborhood gave when we used to live over there, now have to go find somewhere else to eat. So I guess keep your comments to yourself. Came here for dinner with five family members. The place is pleasant and comfortable. We sat near the entry and even without a reservation a table for six was immediately put together for us. The food was quite good. I had a New York steak and it was tender and delicious. I had asked for it medium rare and it came more medium. For what it's worth it didn't impact my enjoyment of the meal. The mashed potatoes were plated with an ice cream scoop, a little 'diner' appearing. The vegetable medley was very good. Started with a salad and blue cheese dressing, that was typical and good. I had a nice glass of hearty red wine that went well with the steak. One of our diner's had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. Now, I have commented on servers in past reviews, but never by name. I am going to break that here. Our server was a woman named Savannah, and after eating in many restaurants around the US and the world, she was outstanding. I was so impressed by her professionalism and personality, with the clear intent to provide exceptional service. She never missed a beat and made the meal ever so nice. We tried This restaurant for the first time last night and it was not a good experience at all. It's very loud, which is possibly to be expected. The patrons next to us loudly cursed the entire time we were there, F words left & right, comfortably calling people pu$$ies all evening. Then came the food. We ordered two steak, both medium rare. One was Raw in the middle and the other one was medium well. When the waitress set my plate down she tipped it and spilled steak juice all over my white pants.
