We are frequent customers at this location and absolutely recommend! They changed there menu recently which is even better than the amazing food they already had. My least favorite Farellis I've been to. Here's why: Small parking lot with only one exit. Big trucks beware... Small inside - our party of 16 took up a booth and 3 tables pushed together right up front. Okay. I've never liked Farrellis pizza that well. I always got a bad aftertaste in my mouth and indigestion. Those turned me off from going there much and only out of convenience to satisfy a craving and/or meet friends at a central location. Well today's meal served up by Makaylah, including her being our bartender, was INCREDIBLE. She was great, to start with. Friendly, knowledgeable and clearly oriented towards meeting our desires. And it was happy hour so the personal pizzas were 1/2 price. We ordered an array of pizzas including their NW traditional. Each one was perfect and if you like meat they each provide a great hit. Not too much to be overpowering. But the highlight was Makaylah. Her service was impeccable and as a bartender her margaritas and lemon drops were the bomb!! Wow, horrible horrible pizza,!! Super expensive and horrible, ordered a caramelized onion pizza with mushrooms and garlic. I can't even believe you can be so tight on the toppings for a 35.00 pizza. A couple crumbles of garlic, most pieces didn't have any. So caramelized onion? A red onion with the outside pealing still on it! Cheese? Hmmmm didn't see much. I ordered pickup here one night and was really pleased with both the food and the great customer service. I called in and let them know that I'm allergic to gluten. They have a gf crust and was easily able to accommodate me. I also requested that they do their best to prepare my food in a clean place and with clean gloves. The man taking my order took this very seriously and made several notes and alerted the kitchen. Food was very affordable and I was able to grab my noms and run home to my cats. Super easy pick up. Once I got home I was very impressed to find that the boxes and salad had been labeled gf, no croutons, prepare with clean gloves etc. it was just great they took my allergy seriously. I'm surprised I've not written this place up-- been to this specific location twenty times...... Pizza is almost always excellent, service is again pretty darn good. Location is awful, in the end of a culdesac almost, tough to get turned around, outside seating faces the parking lot. However, I certainly would give it two thumbs up, and will walk over later. Their closest competition in this area pizza wise is Mod, which isn't much competition, frankly. Mod is pretty good, tbf, but Farrellis is much better read more

The pizzas are renowned so stick with those. The appetizers can be a little hit or miss (fatty wings, bread stuffed mushrooms, stale nacho chips). But if you get one of their margaritas... believe me, ALL WILL BE FORGIVEN. One other thing, when I went they seemed a bit short-handed. It's probably due to the Rona. I think they had the bartender serving tables. The guy is a bartender. He is not used to friendly "whatll you have?" with a cheese-eating grin. He is more used to sloppy drunk mofos that know exactly what they want (things he knows how to make). So be a little patient if you get a bit of attitude or feel rushed (you are being rushed). Izzy was serving us and although the service wasn't the most attentive, we had no issues with her and the 7 of us left a collective tip of 15% (some 10% and some 20+%). Carrie brought our food out and was also rude to one of us and making unnecessary comments. We didn't want to inconvenience her about sides so we asked her for our server. After we left, she messaged one of our friends about how we left a terrible tip. It didn't make sense to us but we found this unprofessional and needs to be addressed by management. When cooked right, the Pizza tastes great. Unfortunately, they burn the crust quite frequently at the Yelm location whether you ask for it or not. The cooks send it out anyways so when you pick it up for takeout, you don't realize it until you get home. 2nd time it's happened. To be clear I know wood fired pizza get a little char, a little char is good but when the whole bottom is black about a 1/16" thick, that is burnt. And unlike burnt toast, it's hard to get out a butter knife and scrape off the burnt part. Please train your cooks to remake burnt food rather than serve it. It makes for a bad experience and people don't want to pay top dollar for inedible pizza. Would give 5-stars if not burnt. read more

Dropped in today (Sunday) with wife, Cathy and we were both served by Carly as wait staff and Dan as bartender. They both recalled what we liked from our previous visits and service was amazing, as usual. Carly and Dan worked in concert with each other and we commented all the way home about how they get customer service right. This was our first time at Farrelli's Pizza. Our family was very pleased with the service. The food was hot, fresh and served with a smile. Our server Josh Josh was friendly, suggested a dish and was very attentive. The floor staff stayed busy, the venue was really clean. The ingredients in the medium Meat Eaters pizza toppings were fresh and proportionate. The cheese bread was delicious and my daughter really enjoyed the Spaghetti & Meatballs. The pizza is far superior to any in the area! Yesterday we pick up a pepperoni pizza and it had so much pepperoni that was amazing! We order pizza from the rock and it was burnt and barely had any pepperoni on it! Definitely between the two farrellis is the best! No more rock for us!! We've been to the Lacey & DuPont locations and also grabbed take out from here. We are not from this area and have started a "Pizza Friday" tradition with our kids, trying out different local pizza places. Farrelli's is the best we've found. It's just so, so, so good. We really like the NW Best pizza-- the sauce they drizzle on top, a honey cream cheese-- it is phenomenal. Came here last week for their lunch special, started with caesar and their dads bacon and cheddar salad, so much flavor! Then we got the James favorite as pictured, it was incredible, my mom and I really enjoyed the food. The server could've been more friendly, there were only 2 tables ours included, she seemed to be having an off day. Our bill was 33$, we paid 40$ cash and she asked if we wanted our change, we said no, although my mom felt uncomfortable as my mom has been in the industry for years, she thinks it's impolite for servers to ask this, as we always tip our servers well regardless, we just like to be the one to decide on the tip. read more

The waitress took my phone (w/ my permission) she and 2 other staff tried to get the app to work - the $10 off, after 10+ minutes returned my phone unable to make the code work. My heir apparent (daughter) meets a group of friends here on Thursdays for trivia night in the bar section of this restaurant. I got invited to help her team on American War trivia night (I am a little bit of a military history buff). Each week is a different topic. The winning team gets a $60 Farrelli's gift card. We had a pre-game meal of pesto pizza with tomatoes. It was baked in a wood oven and the crust had great chewi-ness with smoke flavor from the oven. Top notch (I am a stickler for chewy crust, NY style!!). They have gluten free pizza and other options too - if you don't want to associate with glutens. During the match, drinks and service kept us well hydrated (it was grueling and we did not want to get behind on our electrolytes). Again, top notch. This was a ton of fun with a really great crowd plus pizza, food, pool, tavern games. The staff made this a even a better weekly event. I suggest you try your trivia skills here, or just hang out and make this your "local". Food, service and "regulars" won't disappoint you. But I will warn you - do not challenge my daughter's team! This has been our second home for fifteen years, so I guess it's about time to write a review! This place is solid. It's comfortable, the service is great, you can always find parking relatively close, and the food is worth coming back for. We like to sit on the lounge side, although both sides can easily accommodate parties of any size. We love, love, love Ashley and Stephanie for servers, but can honestly say we've never had a bad experience with a server. Now for the important part -- the food! Our favorite pizzas are the Deluxe Classic, the Italia, and the Americana. We've been particularly hooked on the Italia lately. Their salads are good too (Mom's or the house with the blue cheese) and if you're there during happy hour, give the brat in a hoodie or the focaccia bites a try. I did struggle with a 5-star rating. I've had pizzas occasionally that have sat in the fire a little too long, so if we could award half stars, I'd give them a 4.5. They took 25 minutes to give me my to go pizza. I got the margarita pizza the tomatoes were cut into unappetizing squares. The pizza was way to salty it tasted like they dumped a cup of salt on top of the pizza. The brown liquid they sprayed on top was sticky and added additional salt. I regret going there. We tried the pizza of the month - carne something - it was spicy and flavorful and the toppings were plentiful. It was recommended by our awesome server who was on point the entire time we were there. Super friendly, efficient, and professional.
