Came here for the first time. Monday morning. Two pairs of pants. Guy comes out, does his thing, tells me it will be done Friday. Friday? It takes 5 days? I've never been to a cleaners that takes 5 days. FIVE. I can't come back on Friday so now it's going to be the following Monday before I get the pants back. It was 8 bucks a pair and they did a good job. But honestly, 5 days to get my pants back is not acceptable when every other cleaners in the area does it in a couple at the most. Been getting my dry cleaning done here for the past year or so. Good service, good pricing, and my clothes are always ready and on time. I'll give this local shop a solid five stars. Recently brought a light blue suit here which had many spots of cranberry juice on my blazer, collateral damage from a fun night in Vegas. Everyone said that this is as bad as wine spots and might as well throw it away. When I brought it to Marshal they were straight up honest and gave me a 50/50 chance they could get it out and they said it could get damaged :(. So I took a gamble and guess what? Horrible service, horrible customer service and horrible place! I have no words to explain the pathetic experience we have been having from last few weeks after being a loyal customer for long. The person on the cash counter refused to clean the expensive shirts after messing them up the first time. He got the shorts starched and ironed with dirty collars and when we complained he refused to help. He starting blaming us for making the collar dirt in first place. When we asked him to clean them, he refused. When we asked him to call his boss, he refused. I think he himself is the owner and didn't want to own the responsibility. If you are worried about maintaining and cleaning your expensive clothes, save your selves from going to this place. I would not have given them even one star if that was the option. read more

We have been using this cleaner for about a year or so now, and they always do a good job. I don't recommend their tailoring services, but that's mainly because they send it elsewhere and it takes days. Great service, same day when available (drop off before 9 I think?), and mostly fair prices. We have been using Marshall Steel regularly for roughly three years and have never had a bad experience. We use them weekly for dry cleaning (mostly men's shirts) and they come out perfectly clean and pressed every time. We have also used them for light alterations (buttons, hems, tears, zippers, etc.) and have been incredibly pleased. They don't know my car, because I usually walk here to drop off and pick up my dry cleaning, but they get the job done on time and in a satisfactory manner. We seem to have different ideas on the concept of "medium starch" -- I prefer a bit more than they use, but I'm reluctant to ask for *heavy* starch and get back a heaping helping of shirt jerky. It's not a deal-breaker for the convenience. My rating does not include their tailoring services, because I've never used them, and from the experiences of my fellow Yelpers, I probably won't. read more

By far the best dry cleaner in town. Responsible, helpful, patient, and most of all, the work is excellent. The owner knows my husband and I and is often prepared with clothes as we walk up. He saw my husband struggling with a big pile of shirts and gave him a laundry bag to bring in every week! A wonderful gesture. I have been coming here for years and they always do a great job. I have heard horror stories about dry cleaners ruining or losing clothes (such as the recent $54MM law suit all over the news recently). But that has never happened to me here nor do I expect it to ever happen in the future. read more

They know my car as well and pull my clothes before I walk in the door. As far as alterations, I have not had great results. Once, I needed a missing button replaced. The one they used did not even remotely match the other buttons on the shirt. It was bizarre. I recommended them to a good friend on the premise that they had never lost my clothes, which was true. Ironically, when he went to pickup his clothes, they had been lost. I called twice during the day because I was so embarrassed. Fortunately, my friend's clothing was found later that day. I continue to go to Marshall Steel Cleaners because despite a few hiccups, they do a good job overall. read more

So disappointed! Do not take your drapes to Marshall Steel. I was told it would take two weeks for my beautiful drapes to be cleaned (two sets). I called after two weeks only to be told it would take another week. Three weeks later, I stopped by to personally check on the status and was told one set was finished but the machine had broken -- that it would take another one to two weeks -- they would call me. Two more weeks passed. I called and was told my drapes were ready but they needed two more days to fold them. What? Two additional days later my husband picked up and hung the drapes. Terrible, terrible I tell you. They looked like they had been balled up they were so wrinkle and still had dust on the bottom hem near the floor. It looked as if one set had not even been cleaned. The supposedly cleaned drapes hanging next to the ones that had not been cleaned looked like crap. Our drapes are less than three years and was quite an investment. We just through $300 out the window on a rainy day. Although we expected two spots on one of the drapes to be difficult to remove, it looks like no effort was made to remove it because that is the set with the dusty hem. Totally bad experience with drapes. We will never give them a chance with other things. read more

I had used this business for simple dry cleaning about 8-10 times with no problems unti lI took a beautiful ,never before cleaned, Hugo Boss navy blue blazer here about 5 years ago and it came back shiny (as though it had been dry cleaned a zillion times or pressed by an incompetant), not a good thing. I was very unhappy about this, but uncharacteristically, for me, did not tyr to get any compensation for the damage. A year or two later, due to laziness no knowledge of better options, I gave them another try, this time on removing a stain from an argyle cashmere sweater with nice even nap. I had doubts that the stain could be removed and they agreed, but would try if I was willing. I did not know that their efforts would involve excessive rubbing that removed almost all of the knap around the area of the stain, so that even if the stain had been removed the sweater was ruined and in worse shape than when I brought it in.. I would say that they are limited in their abilities as cleaners and I would never go back, especially since there are much better options in the area as reflected in the Yelp evaluations. read more
