My mom and I came here to do a mani pedi. They didn't open until a little after 9:30 am. Aside from that, the pedi was decent, though the woman who did mine (short hair and glasses) didn't file them as rectangular as I wanted. My mom chose an OPI coral color that turned out to be orange, so her woman (ponytail and glasses) redid with another color. Then onto nails, the Essie pink color chosen was too sheer, so her woman redid it as well. After leaving her nails under the fans for a while and intermittently taking calls, she was told that she's done. So she went to the bathroom and then it messed up. And her manicurist had to redo part of it. Honestly I'm feeling bad. For my pedi, my manicurist put on someone else's flip flops on my feet. That was funny. I chose Essie 867 white but it was sheer as well, so the woman voluntarily chose 869 instead. At the end, I think she still didn't put on enough coats. And a bit of nail polish was left around the nails and my cuticles around my toes and fingers were left quite dry, so I had to ask for some lotion/oil myself. Overall, $20 for a mani pedi is a great price. Love the convenient location, pleasant interior. EDIT: "Pores" (Bubbles?) in nail polish within a day. Chipping started within a week, which is normal. UPDATE (3/12/18) Went on a Monday evening around 5:50 pm and they were surprisingly understaffed. I waited nearly half an hour. Though the ladies are sweet, my toenails were cut too short. No blood, but my rough nail bed is sticking out now. I chose a lovely lavender. However for the fingernails, I looked REALLY hard (and my lady helped too) for this brownish pink, but we ultimately couldn't find it. A new spot that opened to my place and when I saw the reviews so far, I was like why not? The nail salon is VERY clean which is a big must for me bc not all nail spots are like this in the area. (And I've scouted out a lot from the ones on 86th st and 18th ave) They even label the cuticle oil spray and all products they use on you. There's 3 pedicure stations and 3 manicure stations. The prices are reasonable. My nail lady was Tina and she was great! They don't pressure you to do anything more than you want. After my manicure, I was like let's just try their Green Tea Pedicure (higher than their normal pedicure) which is 35$ and DEF worth it!! - includes a mask for your calves, feet, callous removal, a quick hot stone massage and a legit 15 minute foot massage. Then they wrap your feet with their green tea mask. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area! Give this place a try! At least for a pedicure. read more

Normally I don't go to a salon to get my nails done and was really hesitant since the time before this was a complete disappointment. But reading the reviews, I had to give this place a try. I was so happy with the overall experience!! I asked for a coffin shape acrylic tips and Tina happily did it for me. Normally these tips are long but Tina helped me shave it to a size that allowed me to still use my fingers to type. She also gave me ample time to choose my color since I had such a hard time picking. Never once did she rush me nor made me feel like I was wasting her time. Came here for the first time on Wednesday with a co worker. I was promised over the phone that the wait wouldn't be more than 5 minutes but we waited over 20 minutes. Manicure/pedicure was very below average. 1. There were bubbles in our nails 2. The nails chipped one day after (no I did not do any activities that were rough on them) 3. The manicure was poorly done. The paint wasn't even and smooth. The extra star was for the owner who was super nice. Her name was Tina I believe. Me and my friend were looking for a spot because she was leaving for Mexico tomorrow. Literally no nail salons were open. This was a far stretch from where we lived but we gave it a try since the prices were cheap. Firstly the place is spacious and clean. The ladies spoke cantonese so we communicated well. I got acrylics and my friend had a mani and pedi. The acrylics came out super nice, just like the photo I showed her. She suggested I get a gel and was only an extra $10. And she threw in complimentary gifts. 11/12/15: Edit: far less impressed the second time around. Tina did my nails again, but this time it was a messier job. Barely touched my cuticles, didn't shape & push them back.. Right hand nails are rounder than the left. My thumb nails are 2 diff sizes and there's a lot of little nicks on my nails due to her rushing once two more people came in & not giving my nails more than one shot of UV light per coat. Not to mention the paint job doesn't extend evenly to my cuticles. Definitely going to try to go back to have the issue fixed but that's me going out of my way. I also mentioned most of these issues several times, & it becomes tiring to keep repeating yourself on imperfections to someone who is supposed to be the professional. I am writing this while I am still in the salon getting my toes fixed because the lady that did them to begin with, stuck her finger into the nail polish by accident and instead of removing the entire polish on that nail she put a BLOB of polish on top and struggled to try and clean it up with a paper towel! It was the second time and I just told her to redo it! The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because my mom got her nails done by someone else with no issues and the lady that fixed mine did a good job fixing the mess. I came here based on the high reviews. They charged me $5 to get my gel polish removed and $7 for a manicure. Acceptable. What wasn't acceptable was I kept telling the girl I have eczema so my hand is sensitive. I asked her to please mind the cuts on my hands while she was applying the acetone. Her response was "Just deal with it." She also didn't get off all my gel so my nails was disgustingly rigged and bumpy. I didn't notice it until she finish my manicure. After I told her NUMEROUS times that my polish isn't smooth, she gave absolutely no shits. NONE. Instead, she clarified to me that it was my natural nails were bumpy and kept applying top coats. I kept telling her and telling her and telling her, but she literally did not care. She went to sweep the floor and ran out to pull down the gates to close the store. There were at least 3 other people in the salon with me. There was no lotion for my hands that were dried up from the acetone. When I walked out of the salon, I noticed that parts of my nails were even painted!!! I'm not a person to really fuss but if I keep mentioning to you more than 3x, I will spend my money elsewhere. What made me so mad at myself was that they make you pay before you get your nails done (reasonable) but I tipped her way more before knowing how it would turn out. I had to go to another place the next day and spend more money get my nails fixed. WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. This is literally the worst place I've gone to and I've gone to some shady nail salons. Never have I had someone who was so adamant about not fixing something I wasn't happy about. read more

This nail salon is beyond excellent . The staffs are all very polite. I was attended by Tina who did my nails today and I have to say that they are very clean and professional. Price is affordable. I did a regular pedicure and a gel manicure in which I had two very short nails and I thought I'd have to sacrifice and cut all my nails short to match. Then Tina came to the rescue and suggested to extend and add some lenght to the two nails to match the rest. I wanted my nails in the coffin shape and she accommodated to my request. I usually don't post reviews, but this place deserves my two cents. Did I also mention that they close late at 8:30pm and is willing to stay late for their customers ? I went here a few times and while I do have to admit the place is very clean, has a good selection of colors, good price range, and is the one better nail salons in Bensonhurt/Dyker Heights area. The only thing I have to admit it is that while the ladies there do a good job on my nails most of my visits there were little or no interaction from whoever does my nails. It wasn't until my recent visit around a week ago I had a lady who was slim with glasses who encouraged me to try the gel nails. She tried on a few colors since I wanted a mint green color. She was very sweet and I fept comfortable trying something new. I gave it a go and explained me more about it and she did a great job and a week later they look amazing. I had a green tea pedicure and an eyebrow wax with Rainbow. She was very nice and detailed with her work. My pedicure polish was smooth and shiny. Best is when she did my eyebrow wax she didn't blow on the woodstick before applying it on my skin. That's my pet peeve and very unsanitize. Thank you for the great service and keep up the good work. Hot stone massage?! Heated stones rolling around my lotioned calves, feet and heels. Amazing!! So relaxing and quiet when I was there- def. will go back. This used to be my favorite spot because it was close to home, really nice staff, and always did a great job. Recently I went and got a Gel Manicure for my Mom & I. I got a light pink and the color was too transparent it looked like it only had 1 layer, I didn't say anything because I figured it was just the color that was too light but I was sort of hesitant to come back, I only came back because I really liked them at one point so we gave it another chance & went, we felt like they were rushed because when we were being helped about 5 other people came in, so I guess the girls started rushing and just wanted to finish because for example, I got the hot towel thing and my mom didn't. The end we left to be honest my nails didn't look nice, they weren't fully colored because there was still space, some nails looked like they had too much paint, and my mother's nails looked the same. Mines lasted about 2/3 days before I was at work bubble wrapping something and the paint chipped off & that same day my mom's whole finger that was painted got chipped off. Right now they look really bad and chipped I think I'd rather take them off than keep them on, that's how bad it is. Oh well I guess they've changed their ways of doing nails. read more

Absolutely amazing! The nail salon is clean and the employees are very kind. To remove old gel on my nails as well as get a new set done I only had to pay $22. The gel color and the way you do them with designs will definitely vary in the price range. However, I just did a basic CND Shellac color and got a deal for a very fair price. Surprisingly it's still on my nails and lasted for about a month! I don't know how but it is still on. I got them done on September 16th and now it's October 6th. That's crazy long. This place just opened up 2 blocks from my apartment so I went in to change my gel manicure and check them out. I am happy to report that they did an awesome job! When I walked in I was greeted by 3 smiling faces and taken care of right away. The girl who took care of me was Coco and she was just sweet as pie and very helpful. I showed her a picture of a dress I had to wear for an engagement party that night and I asked her if she could match a nail color to it and she found a perfect match. She took her time on me and did not do the one thing I hate which is when the nail technician rushes and scratches your cuticles up trying to file off old polish. She was very gentle and talkative. Asked me about work and where I'm from which was a very nice change of pace from what I'm used to. I was offered water and they have a nice basket of fruit for customers that are waiting. Nice addition. Came here to get a manicure and pedicure and I cannot rave on how good the service and also the quality is in this nail salon and good prices! It's a little bit more than your average "Asian" nail salon, but so worth it!! They are super nice and have amazing customer service they do not pressure you and they always accommodate to what you're looking for and what you want , which is a little hard to find in lot of the Asian nail salons or nail salons in general. With my pedicure I got a scrub and also a hot stone massage which did not cost me anything more it was included in my pedicure and she did a great job with my manicure. What I love most about this place is that they use brand-new filers and buffers each time you come so they have's individually packed disposable ones that they use on you. The most memorable thing is that the staff does not talk to each other when they're doing your nails or when they're servicing you , they focus their attention on you to make sure you get the best experience which I definitely appreciate.
