Went in for my first mani/pedi and was completely satisfied with the service I was given. The staff is professional and courteous, kind, and respectful. The inside felt warm and welcoming, even on a chilly day. I have pretty short nails, but they do look nice. I went with green polish because I think it goes well with my red hair. They have a very large selection of many beautiful nail polish colors from which you can choose.

I got my nails touched up after having broken a nail.(I previously got my nails done at a different salon and this one was more convenient to go to) I waited 1.5 hours, wasn't greeted, wasn't told how long the wait was... in my 1.5 hour wait time I noticed people would get done with their service and then ask to pay because the employees wouldn't come up to the desk to check them out. Had been going for over two years with my mom, grandma and aunts. The past 3 times we had appointments and every time we end up waiting over 30 minutes to an hour past the appointment time to even start! Every single time the excuse is "Well, someone called out sick" A single person should not tank your wait times. ESPECIALLY for appointments! You have 5 people working, appointments should take priority. They also tried to say a woman who came in after us and was finished before us, had been waiting an hour. We managed to ask the woman after and she confirmed she had just walked in, so they lied to us! My mom and I were called to be seated and they did mine and not hers. By the time they were drying me (An hour later) they told her "Two minutes" Obviously my mom declined because we were supposed to be getting them done together which they were aware of. Only then did they bring up the "Someone called in sick" excuse and when pressed about the walk ins they took before my mom - then they lied about the woman who thankfully came to us to tell us they were not being honest and she was a walk in and felt bad. I doubt she will ever come back there either. My family will now never return; service has gone down hill immensely and it is no surprise they are hiring. I have seen several techs that used to work there over in Nail Crew off Mid Rivers. That place will now have our business because they are efficient, honor appointments over walk ins and do not lie/blame others to clients. read more

My technician Bill, is wonderful. I've been going to Bill for about 25 years (not solely at Liz Nails) followed him wherever he went. My last visit, I did the survey for the very first time because I have not been happy with the way the shop runs. They started doing Sundays as "walk-ins" only. I sat there a couple of Sundays hearing people come in and saying that they have an appointment. Now my understanding of this is you can make an appointment with the "shop", not a certain technician. Also, this shop is busy enough to hire a Separate person to answer the phones. The same technician Always answering the phones is taking away from the customer that is sitting in the chair. Both time, and the technician being interrupted constantly. My one and only survey was again about the nail salon, Not the technician! But, since my technician got ripped apart by his boss (the owner), because of my survey answers regarding the shop and nothing to do with him directly, he pretty much told me to find another place to go. I've tried to go to this Salon 2x now. Both times, I was told a reasonable wait time. And both times, the wait was in significant excess to the estimate given. The owner or manager even let a women without an appointment go in front of me. I would highly NOT recommend. just turn around & walk out. read more

After waiting 35 minutes past our appointments, my daughter and I decided to scoot. Maybe somehow these people could learn to respect their customer's valuable time. We went about 2 miles down the road to BT Nails and was the best experience EVER. The place was clean, modern and the people are amazingly friendly. read more

months ago I gave this business a five-star review and as you can see below they responded with a thank you. I've been going to the salon for over 3 years. I usually am very happy with the service that I get. I usually get a manicure every 2 weeks and a pedicure more regular in the summer. But this time My polish came off in chunks on seven of my fingernails. When I went back to get a polish change and showed them what had happened in only 4 days, I was treated with disrespect. After spending hundreds of dollars in the salon, it ended over an argument and a $10 polish change. I no longer recommend this salon due to the way my dissatisfaction was handled. I just want to say thank you Nancy for many years of service. I wish you the best! read more

They do exceptional work and are very friendly. They may run a little behind at times because they are so busy but she will be very satisfied with the work. They make an effort to get to know you, so when you come in, they say hi and say your name. I really like it and will keep going here in the future. read more

Zero stars if I could. Horrible service. I have scratch marks on my skin from the nail tech taking the metal tool and scrapping the top of my foot instead of using the towel... directly under my foot. Then she continued to talk disrespectfully to the whole staff when I asked her to stop. Would never go back here. Would never recommend someone to go here. read more

This place sucked... they don't tell you when they are up selling then ask if you want gel (which I already had picked out)and said it would be an extra 15 on top Of the 30 for the pedicure. So I went with regular nail polish and she said she could find a color match.... came home with dirty burnt orange toenails and repainted at home. read more

This was my first time coming to Liz's and I was very happy. Christina did my pedicure and we talked the whole time and she did great on my whole pedicure. Tess did my manicure and I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did just that. She was very busy, but opened up to have a conversation towards the end of my appointment. Made an appointment because they were too busy for walk in's. Showed up to my 12:00 appointment at 11:50 and didn't leave until 1:40. The tech started my nails, barely did anything to them, only put two layers of dip, and then left me sitting there with unfinished nails for an hour while she did another clients who came in after me, finished her nails, and had her pay and out the door. My nails look mediocre at best for almost two hours waiting. read more

Never tell prices in advance and you have to pay whatever they ask you at the end. Too picky about length and price. Very bad service - my cuticles bled and for simple red nails they charged me more than required. They also dont have a wide color range - i asked for an ocean blue and they didnt have it. I got my nails done and accidentally chipped so went back again to get them fixed which should be free but since was charged again as they considered it a fresh set. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! the man doing my nails was very skilled, precious and gentle. i gave him colors and a reference photo and he did exactly what i wanted. the employees were so nice and professional. me and my sister both got a full set and it took about 2 hours. it's in a great location and i'm thoroughly impressed with the service. 100% recommend coming here! also full sets for two people was about 130. very good quality and worth it. read more

I've been going to Liz Nails for about six years, and have never been disappointed. I took my daughters there today for manis and pedis before a baby shower. They were so nice and we had a great "girls day out." The prices are very inexpensive, and the polish lasts for a long time. The only negative is that they are very popular. I would suggest making an appointment, as they take appointment people before walk-ins. They always have time for walk-ins, but you might have to wait a bit longer. They actually remodeled a while back, so it's not just a strip mall shop with bare walls and pictures of fingernails. It's very nicely decorated and a pleasant place to have your nails done. read more

Nails always turn out ok, but they NEVER honor appointment times. I just left in tears after waiting an hour past my appointment time because this was the only time I had to get nails done before my maternity photo shoot. 4 people walked in after me and they all got helped before I finally just left, I always make an appointment and its the same bullshit every time. Im done with the chances im never going back. read more

It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?

I came back to ask about it and was told I must have caused it.This was a 5 min conversation .I've been getting pedicures for 30+ years and take normal care of them. While they offered to ONLY repaint, which I thanked and appreciated. I was again told I did something wrong.I kindly disagreed. Disappointed in both the quality and the customer service. I will be driving out of town to my regular salon.

I would say they are comparable in price with other salons, but so much better! They also run new customer specials, so look on line for the coupons. The salon is large and can accomodate a group! I will not go anywhere else!

One word...YIKES! The woman in booth 1 did my acrylics, I started by giving her my regular polish (as I don't use gel) and showing her the design I wanted, she nodded she could do it and continued. I'm not the type that likes super thick nails and she piled on acrylic with the brush. I mean coke bottle thick. The woman was on her phone every 5 minutes checking her texts with no gloves which I felt was unsanitary and unprofessional. At the end, when it came time for the nail art the nail tech got out the gel light and I reminded her I wanted regular polish. I was told she could only do the design with gel. When I tried to press more on the issue she literally screamed at me and made a scene. I'm from out of town luckily but 0/0 would recommend in my book. read more

I have been very pleased with Liz Nails during the time I have been a customer. Their ability to schedule for an appointment and keep within that time frame is astounding, compared to the 30 - 60 minute wait I have had at other salons (with an appointment)! I appreciate the relationship building that is apparent each time I go...it is like a family atmosphere...comfortable and inviting. I went in to get a gel manicure from the technician Bill. I didn't have an appointment but the staff greeted me right away and were very professional. I showed bill a picture of a design I wanted on my nails and he told me he could get very close to the design but not exact. I appreciated his honesty and how realistic he was about the design. He did excellent work and was very quick, I was in and out in 30 minutes. Fair pricing, very clean environment and professional people! I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I've been going to Liz Nails for close to 17 years now. This place is by far the best nail salon in St. Charles. I always look around as I'm getting my mani/pedi's and these techs are legit! All of them have been there just as long as I've been going and they are all true professionals. Trish is my "go to" gal and she never disappoints! She always puts a smile on my face with her cheerful personality too! They are usually pretty busy bet get you in pretty quick. They are worth the wait! read more

I have been coming to Liz Nails for longer than I can remember! A few times, I have tried other places but always come back. The staff is friendly and almost every one greets me by my name (or a Vietnamese nickname they have given me!). I have used Kim as my tech for years and I absolutely love her. On the rare times there is a problem (usually my fault), Kim will fix it at no charge. If you haven't been here, give them a try. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. read more

I'm extremely picky about how my nail get done , the shape(s), color, jewels , etc. so when I was in st Charles area to take my niece with me to get our nails done I chose the 3rd shop down on google (idk why) which was Liz nails & ' . I didn't catch his name but a male did my nails . He took his time and made sure I was especially happy with his work. They turned out better than when I go to my original nail shop. they should tell their staff to stop asking customers questions about their private life, ex) "are you married?" "Do you have kids" Every time I'm there (most recent being last Thursday) the same nail tech asks me personal questions and complains to me about her dating life "it's hard to find a man" she always tells me. I have been to just about every nail salon in the greater St.Charles/St.Peters area and I always find myself wishing I had gone to Liz Nails. I have been going there for a good 5 years and they are always so nice and inviting. I also love the atmosphere, they don't seem cheap and don't rush you. I recommend Liz nails to everyone!
