Went to this place for the first time over the weekend and left pretty displeased. The quality of service is not up to par for what they charge, which is very comparable to other places in the area. Not sure if it's a language barrier issue or just not paying attention but the manicure with dip polish I requested was done backwards (wanted ring finger have gold glitter and color on all other). it was completed the opposite and I was in a time crunch so didn't have time to get it corrected. I also got a gel pedicure and quality of it is Medicare at best - didn't even paint within the lines of the nail bed. It's been 3 days since I got both and BOTH are already chipping and peeling off. I met my friends at the restaurant next door and because of convenience I decided to stop by after lunch. When I walked in there were three employees working. Two were already with customers so I was happy about not having to wait. The place is clean and they have a great nail polish display thats color coded. (This speaks to my minor OCD). I asked for help in picking a color and then I sat down for my pedicure. I don't know if I got a trainee but she seemed to rush through my service. This bothered me because there were no other customers besides the two ladies and myself. It wasn't like they had to rush to get to the next customer. While she was putting on the top coat she made a mistake. Rather than wipe it off to start over she kept adding more polish to correct it. At the end of my service she put so much polish on my toe that my nail still wasn't dry after sitting under the light for 20 minutes. My polish looked puffy and cracked. I know you're like, "Well, why didn't you just speak up?" You're right. For $28 + $5 tip I should learn to speak up for myself...or at least speak with my lack of a tip. read more

I have been getting French manicures and pedicures regularly from Sonita and Lee for 10 years! They are always great. Salon is so clean and comfortable. They are very COVID safe with shields at tables and spa chairs. All basic pedicures include spa massage chair! But let's talk about the EYELASH EXTENSIONS by Mimi!! I have been getting them for 3 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I tried 3 other lash ladies ladies and none were as good as Mimi (use too much glue and aren't gentle) and other places are SO much more expensive. Other places charge you by length, not Mimi. Other places also make you pay initial start cost after every few months, but not Mimi. You have to call for appointment since she only comes to salon for lash appointments. Lash Extension Costs: First Time: only $160 ($140 if you pay cash!) Refills (every 2-3 weeks): only $100 ($80 if you pay cash!) Easy to schedule and lashes so full and beautiful after first refill and between refills. Can't say enough good things. I came here yesterday for a mani/pedi and was really impressed with the precautions they are taking in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. They request that you sign in upon arrival (and provide a phone #). Then they do a temperature forehead scan. The pedicure and manicure station each had a plastic screen in between you and your technician. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was available at every turn. I was the only one in the salon at the time as well. Honestly- throw some money at them. I'd hate to see this place go under and they really are doing a great job being careful. Very nice place. I was a little worried when I walked in because there was only one other customer, but more came in, including a lot of regulars, which is always a good sign. They gave me a yummy snack and I had a great gel manicure including paraffin wax dip. I was just visiting the area but would recommend this place to anyone who is close. read more

I've been coming here for awhile. They've recently renovated making it look a lot nicer, also have added a lot more polish options. I typically get the deluxe pedicure with the works and basic manicures, but I will get gel manis for special occasions, as well as waxing. I am a hairdresser and need my feet to be taken care of. I am also sensitive to the cleanliness of a salon. I almost never get the same technician but that never seems to matter. They are all very efficient and good. They are so tentative to me and they all know I love a good rub down so they are always very accommodating to that. Also, when I decline the razor, they never seem offended or put out (razors are very unsafe, and actually illegal, but because they take off so much skin, the technician doesn't have to scrub as hard with the pumice stone). These ladies are hard working and very nice. I would recommend this place without a doubt! *for the works pedi, runs about $65 but takes about 1&1/2 hours Also, it is best to bring cash for tips since the credit card machine charges which is taken out of the tip. read more

Lee has been great all through COVID. She is conscientious of keeping her customers safe. I love my nails and I even have my own box of tools that I purchased over 10 years ag so I do not have to share. although she does take her tools out of the sterilizer wrapped so I am pretty sure the tools are clean. read more

Having gone to a few other places in the area, I have to say this one is my favorite. The place looks clean and the women are very nice who work there. I get regular pedicures and they definitely take their time during the whole thing, especially polishing. My toe polish always lasts FOREVER after these visits! Recently went to a different place and it didn't stay on at ALL! Two notable observations: 1) My girl was taking off my old polish with a cotton ball, dropped it on the floor, and proceeded to throw it out. YAY! 2) The razor-foot-scraper thing is also disposable! Also: you can drive and park here with no hassles! Always a little busy, but never packed. read more

I've been to this salon before but today really met my expectations. I went in for a mani/pedi and an eyebrow wax and I was fortunate enough to have Lori. She was so amazing and always asked me if I wanted a certain service that wasn't included before doing it which I very much appreciate. She was gentle and precise with my pedicure and put so much care into my manicure. Finally it came to my eyebrows which I am a sticker about and I must say I am so pleased. They look so uniform and full which I absolutely love. The only reason for the 4 stars is because services are a little extra if you pay with a card but I totally understand. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! I paid $60 to get a half fast mani and pedi! My toe and nails look horrible, you can see all the different layers of polish she used on every single nail. I got white on my toes and there are streaks of red on it! (2nd toes on the left foot) I was just in on Sunday! It hasn't even been 4 days and my nails are already chipping! The lady that did my manicure not only cut me with the cuticle cutter, she literally slapped my nails polish and put top coat and said I was done! I had to go back to another place to get them fixed! They have a range of nail colors, including OPI, although I've gotten into the habit of bringing my own polish. They're also pretty clean too. I believe they sterilize after each use. I've been going to Fashion Nails for many years. The staff are very friendly, very polite, gentle and efficient. They do a beautiful job with fingernails and waxing. They are fast and efficient but never hurry, unless you are in a hurry. And even when the place is hopping busy you can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. It's a pleasant atmosphere and well managed salon. The one thing I won't ever do again there is get a pedicure. I've never had a toenail fungus in my life until I went there. I was horrified, but luckily after six months of daily applications of Fungi-Nail and some time in the sunshine it went away. I did some research when that happened and found that toenail fungus is a common issue with the public tub chairs in use. The tubs require careful disinfecting and most salons are not well trained in that hygiene. Too bad, the chairs are very relaxing and the whole experience is enjoyable. In my research, lots of salons were blamed for tub chair fungal infections, but Fashion Nails was never mentioned--the problem is really specific to the use of tub chairs and lack of time/education/training on how to keep them safe. Although the above experience was very unpleasant for me, the majority of the services at Fashion Nails are so good and so reasonably priced that I strongly recommend Fashion Nails for nails and waxing. If only they also did haircuts! By the way, they also sell Orchids. You will enjoy your experience with them. read more

Was rushed out of the chair and messed of the polish because of it and they did not properly fix it so the paint looks terrible.
