My car has been here several times. The work is always quality and done on time. The employees are very nice. Their prices probably aren't the cheapest but you know you are getting quality work when you take it there. I would rather pay a little more and have the assurance that the job is done. I have to agree with other reviewers about Phil, he is great. Had my car towed in and he got me back on the road. We had a miscommunication about what we were going to do with replacing Rims vs. Tires but he worked in the best interest of saving some cash on my side which is always appreciated. Offered to swap out the tire if I was able to get the rim repaired and give me a break on alignment as consideration for the snafu. Just got it fixed so I'm heading back soon. I would recommend him and his shop. Hard to find good people like that. A good mechanic and a good doctor are key in life. Got both. read more

Excellent service! I called to ask for a used car inspection before I bought it, at 1:30 on a Saturday (Fast Eddie's closes at 2). They agreed to take the car even on that short of notice. They were honest and direct about what they found on the inspection, and even gave me a discount off the normal price because the car had so few miles on it! My fiance had some electrical issues going on with his civic. We were able to drop off the car on Saturday and Phil (their customer service guy) said they would probably be able to take a look at it at the earliest on wednesday. They were in fact able to look at it on Wednesday and we were able to pick it up on thursday, the next day. I took my car in for a check up in December 2015 as the front was rattling. They did a thorough inspection and I got a list of what was good, marginal, and bad. The main problems were my front and rear struts and rotors and drums. There was no pressured sales talk and Jeff made it clear it wasn't an immediate danger. It was out of our budget at that time, but by September 2016, we needed to get this fixed. Fast Eddie's did a phenomenal job, and by phenomenal, I mean my 99 Corolla drives like a new car. Jeff went above and beyond in several areas. I am so grateful to him and his crew. They use quality parts, not like the other guys that charge the same or more but go with cheaper parts. These guys are fantastic. My vehicle is under warranty so took it to the dealer for several repairs. Each time the dealer could not diagnose and fix the problem. Had to take my new 2017 suv to the dealer 4-5 times to convince them there was still a problem with the vehicle and each time they would only find one thing to fix to do as minimal as possible or they were not competent to address multiple issues at once. Jeff and the guys were able to diagnose the problem and fix the issue fast and the first time around. Communication with Jeff was fantastic. He informed me of whether there was going to be a wait for a part and keep me informed while my vehicle was in the shop. A much much better experience then dealing with the dealer. I am new to the area and very happy I found Fast Eddies. I've never had such a great experience with an auto shop before, I took my Jeep in Monday afternoon and my car was fixed Tuesday. Unlike other auto shops, Eddie's didn't pressure me to spend a huge amount of money I didn't need to, and explained in detail what made my car not function properly. I read all these positive reviews just like you are. I went in for a simple transmission fluid change because they were the cheapest and seemed to have good reviews. As I waited in waiting area for a hour and 10 minutes, for a scheduled appointment-way too long, I heard so many excuses for poor service with people calling on phone and people waiting like I was. Internet is down, computer is down, we don't have girl working front desk on Saturdays, I don't know why your card got double charged on a 500+ bill, my main technician is not in today etc etc. Maybe Saturday is just a bad day to go there, I don't know. My experience was not what I read on the right here on this page or on the wall all over waiting room. Again-maybe they were just having a bad day. The cost for transmission fluid change was quoted at 129$ + tax. The actual cost was 136$ + tax. They didn't say I would pay a 7+$ disposal fee on top of 129$. Typical read more

Was called by Ed and told they hadn't yet found the issue with my car but my front brakes were at 20% and I needed an oil change and two front tires. He gave me a price on the brakes and said "that's assuming the rotors don't need replacing, haven't got that far." Well you guessed it, new rotors needed at $68 a pop. I told him nevermind and he gave me some malarkey about them not even being "legal." I found another lace to do my brakes for less and called Ed to say I was sending a tow for my car and why, he freaks, I'm sure it's cuz my rotors were just fine, and says he " might" be able to find cheaper rotors & in the same breath says he knows he can so he'll match the price. He was rude & abrubt, and after $700, my car breaks down on my way to work the very next morning. Phil miraculously tells me within an hour of the tow truck dropping my car that it's giving a transmission failure signal, and again, more malarkey about how it was "intermittent" and that's why it wasn't found the day before. Ok. Not only that but my wiper fluid was bone dry , I had to pull back in & say $700 and my wiper fluid is empty, did you even do the oil change?? When I complained Phil said "Nobody twisted your arm to get those repairs.". He's right, I should have said no but as I told them, it was day 6 of my mom coming home to live out what time she has left with me, she's in the final stages of dementia, I admit, I should have just said no but they used my vulnerability to their advantage. So yesterday I paid them $700 for them to tell me today my car is toast. Like my husband said, it's not called Fast Eddie's for nothing. Now trying to get an 81 year old in the final stages of life to her appointments with a wheelchair on the bus??? That $700 could have gone towards a down payment, again, emotional exhaustion had my mind slogging so I take some of the blame. Just a horrible, disheartening experience. Never ever EVER go to this place, they quoted me a price on a transmission and it was about $1,100 MORE than my other quotes, they brought the price down almost a thousand dollars and quoted me another guaranteed price, then when I called to pick it up they had to add on another $250.00, wish I would have paid the towing price and got it fixed at the other place, a church I used to go to recommended this place to me because one of their members works there...go figure...can't trust them...OH and when my husband was in there he heard a mechanic talking to an older woman, telling her that she had the wrong battery in her car, she had a battery for a manual and she had an automatic.....what...since when...she was old and she did have a credit card on her so maybe THAT'S why she needed a new battery! I had my car in this past weekend for an oil change, and went there because of all the positive reviews I found online. I'm pleased to now be among those who can report an exceptional experience. They were fast (true to their name) -- I was out of there with an oil change, tire rotation and new windshield wiper blades in less than an hour. Both the mechanic and gentleman running the front desk were courteous, honest and very communicative. I got an exact rundown of what needed to be done, and they gave me a heads up that I'd need a brake job on my next oil change, and quoted me for the work, too, so I can start planning for that expense now, in advance. And they gave me a carnation on my way out the door, which made me feel extra special and like a valued customer. I will definitely be going to Fast Eddie's for all of my auto repair needs.
