Listen... Food delivery services have gotten so much of my money after becoming a mom of THREEE. Sometimes, I just don't feel like cooking dinner and handy dandy food delivery apps are right there at the tip of my fingers and then it's right at my door! Doesn't take too much convincing for me. We decided to order from Fast Pho Teriyaki because it was later at night and the only other spots open were fast food spots. We wanted to try and be a littttllleee healthier than that. In the end I'm not sure how much healthier it was because I got an orange chicken bowl and my boyfriend got the general tso's chicken bowl. That said, both bowls were sooo good. The orange chicken was great flavor, chicken was cooked perfectly, and the fried rice was delicious. We'll definitely order from here again in the future! I'm curious about the pho as well... Interesting, Pho is in the name, but they don't make Pho. This is basically a standard Teriyaki shop, but they do also offer ramen as well. The last time I was here, I was going to order 4 or 5 dishes, but after seeing their prices, I limited myself to just 3 dishes. After getting home and eating our meal, I came to the conclusion that I should have just walked away, the food was not worth the price I paid. The food is good here, but inconsistent. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and all the breading was coming off the chicken. I ordered online for a pickup and when it said it was ready, I went inside. They acted like they never received the order and it was a huge inconvenience to them to even make it. I ordered the broccoli and beef and teriyaki chicken combo with a side of gyoza and a mango bubble tea with jelly. The chicken and gyoza were great. The quantities were huge which is always nice, but I would have appreciated better flavor. There was lots of broccoli in the broccoli and beef and it had a perfect crunch to it. Sometimes the broccoli can get really soft and it's not that appetizing. The problem for me in the broccoli beef dish was the sauce didnt have much flavor other than just being sweet. It could have had some depth. Maybe some tang with more ginger or spice. I almost poured my soy sauce packet on it too see if that would help. The Bubbke tea just tasted overly sweet and I didn't really get a mango flavor from it. Positives were friendly quick service with large portions of hot food cooked appropriately. Fast Pho Teriyaki has sure declined in quality over the years. Orange chicken now is kind of hard and crunchy. Not a lot of meat under the breading. I wish they went back to their old recipe. Came here last night half an hour before closing and got a hot, delicious meal considering how late it was. The owners seemed like kind, polite people and the service was very quick. I only got the general tsao's chicken so I can't say for any other dishes but it was very good. I've seen other reviews talking about bad experiences with their son but I haven't met/interacted with him so I can't say that I've been deterred from their business. Overall the people I met working were honest, humble people and I just wanted to extend my gratitude for them accommodating me so late last night. Please give this place a shot if you're ever in the mood for some Asian food late at night in the Tacoma area. read more

My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. We like to support our local businesses as much as possible. The teriyaki is ok. The pho is what we usually order. Prices are high, even for beverages. And they charge you if you want any type of sauce. Ambiance is lacking. We never have eaten there and the parking lot is trashy/unkempt. Anyway, the service is usually good. But now the son is the one we have been dealing with the last 4 times we have been there. And he has no social skills or manners. I called in tonight to order our usual large raw beef pho and he abruptly scolds me and says "we don't have large or small anymore!" I said "ok". Then he asked so what do you want? I said raw beef pho. He said "ok 15 minutes"! I said thank you he says you're welcome. My husband went to pick up the order and the kid is swearing with a family there. Looks at my husband and acts annoyed he's there and says Yeah??! He is so rude. We decided to cancel our order. And never return. The kids gonna run this business into the ground. He never has said thank you to us. Or shows any appreciation for our business. So yes, We will no longer support this local business. read more

I wish I liked my experience more here but alas it just wasn't meant to be. I saw that teriyaki was one of the specialities here and I go with a recent favorite of chicken teriyaki. The rice and the chicken weren't bad and the teriyaki sauce wasn't all THAT bad but it did have somewhat of a gelatinous characteristic to it that I didn't care for. The boba tea that I had here I was very disappointed with. The avocado boba tea I had seemed more prepared from a powder. The tapioca balls stuck together at the bottom of my cup and it was a struggle to get them up the straw to eat. I took leftovers home along with the boba but as much as I tried to enjoy that tea... the tapioca in particular the more clumped together they got. read more

Fast Pho Teriyaki is on my way home, so I made the stop for dinner. I had the chicken katsu and my wife got the beef yakisoba. When I saw the sign for the shop I didn't really know what to expect... but I was a bit surprised at how clean in the interior was. The owner is very nice and easy to talk to. The food came out fast. I took it to-go, which was a few minute drive from the restaurant. When I opened the katsu, I could tell right away that it was very dry. Tasting it validated my assumption. It was so dry that even with the dipping sauce it was hard to eat. The yakisoba was pretty good. It was actually tasty, but it was definitely on the saltier side. I would never order the katsu again, but I did give them another shot and got the chicken teriyaki. It was also pretty good... it's hard to mess up chicken teriyaki though. I'd recommend this place to anyone that passes this place on the way home, and wants a quick dinner option. I wouldn't come here with my family for a sit down meal. read more

Ordered self-pickup through Uber Eats App. When I arrived I waited 5+ minutes before anyone came out of the kitchen to the front (they could see me) and then they didn't know about my order. Not a huge deal generally, but they did not even apologize. So 20 minutes after the pickup time I get my food and go home to eat. The pho did not taste like pho, none of the proper seasoning. It was like just regular beef broth almost. The 1/4 filled tiny cups of hoisin and sriracha were not enough to make it taste better. I got brisket in it and 75% of the slices had a huge fat vein running through - had to feed them to my dog instead. The crab Rangoons taste like pure cream cheese, I looked after each bite and no sight of crab. Also served with gross sweet and sour instead of sweet chili sauce. Egg roll was lacking in flavor, that went to the dog too. My fiancé got orange chicken and fried rice and reported that "it's alright." We will not try this place again. read more

My family chose to try this teriyaki place out last night. We ordered from Uber Eats due to my household being sick and no one wanting to drive to get the food. This food is AMAZING. When we got our food everything was still piping hot. Egg rolls crispy. They cut a hole in the gyoza box to allow it to vent so the gyoza doesnt get soggy from the steam and leaves then crispy. The portions were more than enough even the sweet and sour sauce was ON POINT I've got to say I think I've found my new teriyaki spot. I'm excited to try other things on the menu. I know the Mongolian beef and chicken teriyaki is mouth watering good. Next I think I'll try the pho and then the broccoli beef. read more

So glad we happened upon this joint today and went in for lunch to go. Staff (owner?) was fantastic at handling a good size crowd while fixing our lunch and it seemed he was alone(sign on door they are hiring). We went with yakisoba, fried rice, teriyaki, and bubble tea....but you can believe we will be back to try their pho soon. I usually don't get great food from places that spread their menu across multiple Asian cultures and then throw in a fortune cookie for good measure...but this place will be the exception for me. Huge portions...lots of leftovers. Quality and delicious meats, vegetables, and noodles all served with a smile for a very reasonable price. You can't beat it. Highly recommend! read more

Employee treats you like garbage. We used to go here often for takeout. The food is mostly good but prices on some items seem ridiculously high, especially drinks.The Ma and Pa that seem to run this place are reasonably friendly and courteous but the younger employee (I think he is their son) always acts annoyed that we are there. He is extremely curt. We always say "hello" to him and he typically looks at us like we are scum and says something to the effect of "what do you want?" In an annoyed tone. When we get our food, we always say "thank you!" and he disregards us. Sometimes we say "THANK YOU." again to make a point and then he lazily says "your welcome". I guess he thinks us doing business with them, is him doing us a favor. The last time I went in there to pick up my order he dropped something behind the counter and was swearing, saying, " F--k..F--k... F--k...." as he struggled to pick it up. He never said hello to me or acknowledged me. After he sifted through some tickets he looked at me and said, "YEAH??" In an annoyed tone and gave me a dirty look. At that point I cancelled my order and told him he should treat his customers better. I will not give a business money that treats me like crap. You guys need to train your son in the basics of customer service and courtesy if you want to put him behind the register. read more

Love their food and the fact that they stay open late. Chicken Katsu and pork fried rice are my go to's here. The only complaint I may have is they have who I presume to be their son work the front when busy. He tends to talk to anyone and everyone about his video games and how good he is at it, even talking as if he's the actual character in the game and making everyone uncomfortable. Great new teriyaki and pho place. Good portions and flavorful. Wide selection on their menu without over doing it. I had fried rice, pho, spicy chicken, and sweet and sour pork. All were very good at an affordable price. Still new, so still working out a few kinks, but nothing major. The owners are very nice too. The pho definitely didn't come from a powder mix broth and it wasn't oily. It had a very clean flavor of bone broth. The sweet and sour sauce is typical for american chinese neon red, but it had some veggies and pineapple bits that added to the flavor. Many other places just give you fried meat to dip in a plain neon red sauce. Spicy chicken was great. Not super spicy but it had just the right amount of kick. Fried rice was favorful and tasty. A diamond in the rough. The hardworking couple that run this place do an awesome job at getting delicious food out to their customers at an affordable price with decent sized portions. It's just them two and sometimes their boy to lend a hand but it's always an enjoyable experience when I stop here. They are in high demand for delivery services especially during the evening because they are one of the few teriyaki/pho spots still open so please be patient. All I can say is I hate that I didn't get a chance to take a picture but once I opened the box and tasted one piece it was over. Most Teriyaki places are pretty much the same good but way too much sauce making the food salty and overly sweet. This was not the case at Fast Pho Teriyaki. The food was absolutely fantastic I had the combination beef teriyaki and pork and it was cooked perfectly,. So tender not rubbery, and decent portions for the money it's definitely a diamond in the rough!! So, if you get a chance to head over this way for any reason, do yourself a favor and stop in to fast pho teriyaki, grab a bubble tea and some really good Chinese food. read more

Called in a Togo order. The boy was very much rushing me off the phone. When I arrived there was a weird smell. Got home with our food and my two pho's were wrong. Ordered raw beef and NOT TOFO. Then I ordered combination teriyaki and kutus and they give us two meals one of each. Pho was gross not real broth or not made the right way. And our chicken fried rice sucked...
