I had been ordering fast pizza for over a decade (specifically the Julian street branch). The pizza was great and the owners were awesome. Then the new management took over... All went well for a few months until it didn't: I placed a substantially large order with them for a party I was having, which I did regularly (three large pies, chicken wings, multiple drinks, bread sticks, the works). All the food showed up in a timely fashion and was delicious as usual. Two hours later, I received a phone call from the young woman who was running the operation apologizing for the delay on my order. I explained that my order had been delivered and everything was perfectly fine, to which she frantically replied that they duplicated my order out of error because they thought they had not delivered. Out of respect for the establishment and fellow working individuals, I offered to cover the cost of the order so they wouldn't take a financial hit from the error. I figured I would save them the loss of income and send my friends home with the leftovers. They agreed to a reasonable price (about 70% of the original cost) and delivered. My wife greeted the delivery boy at the door, handed him cash, took the food, and walked inside (all caught on my Ring camera). I sent everyone home with the leftovers and called it a night feeling great knowing I not only fed my good friends for a few days, but helped an establishment I had been a patron of for over ten years. Then came the phone call from the owner... I was told that I tricked her employee into duplicating my order, took the food, and, according to the delivery boy, did not pay for the order upon delivery. I explained the situation in great detail, and went so far as to send a copy of the ring video to the owner via text SHOWING my wife handing the cash to the delivery boy. She responded saying that said delivery boy claimed my wife only handed him a $10 bill (it was $100) and accused my wife of pocketing the cash (completely disregarding the ring video clearly showing otherwise) and proceeded to demand she speak to my wife to get to the bottom of this. I politely asked how much the owner felt I owed for the delivery, she responded with a price, I gave her my credit card information, and she charged me full price ( on top of my original order and the extra $100 cash I paid for THEIR ERROR). I have never been so disappointed with an establishment, nor have I ever been so disrespected. While the food may be great, I highly recommend avoiding this establishment. We ordered: FPD Combination Classic Pizza [x-large] Half & Half Hawaiian pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza [x-large] Garlic Bread w/ Cheese Food came home piping hot and was exactly what we requested for. The BBQ was by far the most popular since it was the first to go but I personally appreciated the Hawaiian. Ingredients were plentiful and the XL sized pizzas were just what our hungry bunch needed [we don't play when it comes to eats!!] 5/5 stars. Pizza tasted just as good as I remembered it!! This is my favorite local pizza joint. I used to live 5 blocks away and would order delivery every week. I moved a few years back to the Rose Garden area. I still go to this Fast Pizza every Sunday and deliver the pizza to myself. The price is right. The pizza is always tasty. I have been living next-door to this place for almost 2 years and have been spending money there from time to time the little lady that owns it that is very rude. This was our go to pizza place for about 7 years. Always fast, tasty sauce, very cheesey and the toppings were perfect!! Yesterday was the last time we will be getting Fast Pizza. Fast remains but i wouldn't call this a pizza!!! -hardly any sauce on pizza. Bread was pretty white under the cheese. -2 topping pizza, each slice had maybe 1.5 pieces of pepperoni and the linguica, was on every other slice as well as the sausage. -cheese was also missing! -bread was very thin, barely even there and didn't taste like anything So not worth the money!! I put in an order on their site on fastpizzajulian.cuteorder.com It's a little tricky, but the idea is if you are ordering a combo, expect a combo. Then, it takes you to an add on page. That's where it doesn't show anything. Don't think you got nothing. There aren't pictures of the toppings to go off of, but it's pretty good stuff and a little better than what you'd get from other pizzerias. It's made to order, fresh, and the dough is not like beef jerky chewy nor soft as tissue paper. I ordered a 3-medium family pack. Immediately, I get a call to confirm. There is no way it would take about 20ish minutes to make, but I get there and it was steaming hot the entire ride to the office. Other places make you wait a long time. The owner checked in with me, letting me know what was going on, giving me toppings and plates. There's also a promotion going on for a free SmartWater bottle. We loved it a lot so we bought more pizza. Again, got a call confirming my large order. Came to pick it up at the ETA time and it was ready, super fresh and hot. This place is amazing. I tried it out of the blue one night, got it door dashed. The medium Hawaiian not only looked amazing (wish I took a picture of it) but was made well. The crust was crunchy yet soft with a little sweet taste. Prices are fair. By far some of the better pizza I've had in San Jose. I didn't get the lady's name that took my order and spoke with me while I waited for my pizza was done, was really nice. She was grateful and appreciative to be able to speak with me for a minute and get some feed back to her face.. as I was a returning customer two days later.
