I can't believe I hadn't tried Pizza Antica before! The food was so good. I came with a friend for dinner and we started with the meatballs, really tasty. The beef was tender, the sauce full of flavor, and the bread had that perfect balance of crispy outside and soft inside. The gnocchi was definitely the highlight, easily one of the best I've had. Great texture and a rich, well-balanced sauce. We also ordered the margherita pizza, which was very good and classic. The service was attentive and quick, which made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back... especially for the gnocchi!

I've come back to Pizza Antica two weeks in a row now! This is a spot super close to my workplace so I always bring my coworkers along to try new menu items. So far every dish I've had has been very solid. Definitely would recommend the burrata appetizer since it's very fresh and unique (also perfect for cheese lovers like me). Their pizzas are on the thinner side so the portion is perfect for two people. I also love their gnocchi, the sauce goes really well and they got the pasta texture down. Also nice that there's arugula on the top for some greens. The servers have also been very attentive but they do get pretty packed during lunch times. Definitely would come back to this spot and can't wait to try more menu items!

Last one came here for a dinner on a Saturday evening make sure to call in advance for reservation reservations because when we arrived, only one table was available right next to the door, but with asking for assistance, we were able to be relocated to the table next to it. Our servers were quick and patient. The Caesar salad was very tasty and great to share it paired well with the potato pizza. The potato pizza was also very yummy but we wish we could've had more. I would say the portions are a bit small for us to. It would have been nice if there was different options regarding size. Overall, the ambience was a bit loud warm, but the interior design was very warm.

The potato heirloom pizza, burratta, margarita pizza are to always a hit !! Love Pizza Antica -- The burrata is always fresh goes well with warm breads. Their gnocchi is comforting and absolutely delicious. Affogato, Tiramisu and coffee make the perfect ending to the meal. The ambience is great both inside and outside -- perfect in any weather to come with family or friends for formal dining or casual dining.

The pizzas were not bad and cocktails were fine. The prices were also decent. Nothing was mind blowing, but nothing was disappointing either. The prices were reasonable, especially for the area. In fact, the total cost of food for our group was somehow cheaper than one round of drinks, which felt like a small victory. The restaurant had a nice modern decor and seem to be super popular - at least the night we went. It was absolutely packed when we went, which is always a good sign, or at least a sign that other people had the same lack of reservations that we did. We ended up sitting outside because the wait time was shorter, a decision that felt optimistic at first and questionable shortly after. There were heat lamps, but they were more decorative than functional, and the cold definitely made itself known. In general Santana row is super nice (esp coming from someone who lives in SF), and this pizza spot is not a bad place to grab a relatively affordable bite if you want something casual with a slightly elevated ambiance. That said, if we had more options that night or a reservation elsewhere, our group probably would have chosen a different spot.

Definitely come here if you have a simple palate because nothing here has any extra ordinary flavor besides an assortment of cheese! My friend adores pesto and pasta, so the Potato and Ricotta Gnocchi was what I tried alongside her. It is her absolute favorite! However it fell flat for me but I did enjoy the chewiness and the overall texture. It would've been better had they added mushrooms or a protein in this dish to give it more dimension in my opinion.

Love going to Pizza Antica, esp in the fall and winter when Santana Row decorates. The restaurant has a casual, but still upscale vibe inside. It has a cozy and romantic vibe because they keep the lights somewhat dim. We planned to go and order the arancini which my husband and I love, but we were surprised when the waitress notified they recently changed the menu and it was pulled. Instead I ordered the gnocchi based on her recommendation and it was heavenly... comfort food to the max! My husband ordered the pizza which is always a safe go-to. ;) He also had the elderflower mocktail and he enjoyed that.

I personally really like pizza antica, especially there sausage fennel pizza. I also tried the potato pizza, that ones decent, not my favorite. Only gripe is that the price has gone up every time I've went over the years, but that's inflation for ya.

This is a cute spot right on Santana Row that won't entirely break the bank. The whole menu is about $20-30. Our wait for a table for 2 on a Friday night at 6pm was not bad at all -- about 20 minutes. As for the food, everything was yummy and fresh but THE POTATO RICOTTA GNOCCHI STOLE THE SHOW! So so so good, the gnocchi itself seemed to be cooked in a pesto, then laid on a creamy tomato sauce and topped with balsamic dressed arugula -- the layers of flavor! I remember enjoying the Heirloom Potato pizza more last time as I felt it was lacking in flavor. Overall a cute date night spot with solid food!

In the heart of Santana Row, Pizza Antica is a welcome gem. This is the closest thing to Italian food that you'll find on the Row, but let it be known that this is more of a pizza menu than Italian restaurant menu. Doesn't make it any less great! So let's talk food- The arancini are large and packed with flavor. This is a must get. All of the salads are great - and perfect for sharing! Highly recommend the Caesar or the peach and arugula. Now, pizza! They are a class act with their thin crust. Crispy, burnt edges but still chewy... perfect (for those that like their pizza that way). Highly recommend the Margherita pizza and the Fennel Sausage (ask to add red sauce, trust me). Both have tons of flavor and are perfect to share or have on your own. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Will be back for many more evenings on their outdoor patio!

On a warm Tuesday afternoon, my partner and I had been wandering around valley fair and santana row before realizing we would like pizza. We decided to check out Pizza Antica and it was great. Service was solid, but she seemed a bit busy. Foodwise though everything tasted great. We got the calabrese sausage and the heirloom potato. Both pizzas sat on a beautiful crust with a nice crispy edge and chewy center. The calabrese sausage had a great variety of toppings and was well balanced. The heirloom potato was also delicious and my usual go to at this restaurant. I don't come often, but it is probably the best pizza at the mall.

Pizza Antica, in the charming Santana Row shopping center, is a little piece of Italy in the middle of high-end shopping and eats. I was here for a work dinner, so our large team ordered a little bit of everything on the menu. Of the starters, I love the Peach and Wild Arugula Salad. So light and refreshing, and the di Stefano Burrata was so rich and creamy. Try to potato pizza, which has a subtle truffle flavor which paired surprisingly well. The corn pizza was sweet with sliced chilis, truly the perfect sweet and savory combo! The classic Margherita had a unique, almost slightly sweet, tomato sauce which was so delicious. I paired my food with the sangria, which was light and fruity!

It's hard to find potato pizza in San Jose. Discovered Pizza Antica at Santana Row has an Heirloom Potato Pizza and decided to give it a try. I added chicken to the pizza and had it delivered. It was wonderful. The crust was thin, and so were the slices of potato. The truffle oil added a nice flavor and I loved the caramelized onions. I was worried the added chicken might not go well with the pizza, but it tasted delicious. It was so filling I could only eat two slices, but I'm looking forward to leftovers.

Slice of New York? How about slice of heaven!…read more I remember my first trip to New York City and my slice of authentic New York pizza. Honestly it wasn't that good. The famous "slice" was underwhelming. So imagine my surprise when I heard rave reviews of Slice of New York on Stevens Creek in San Jose. I had to try it for myself. The service is attentive. The staff make sure you understand what you can order and very carefully take down your order and name. This is reassuring if you've ever had a wrong pizza order. No chance of that here. I ordered a large half pepperoni half mushroom olive to go and a slice of pepperoni while I waited. The slice was impeccable. Large enough to fold over like I was taught in New York City, unlike the slice I had in NYC, this one's tip didn't flop. Perfect! Next came the first bite. Hot, crispy, the perfect amount of sweet tangy pizza sauce, and the great chewy mozzarella. Hot all the way through. All fresh. All perfect. However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.
