Great pizza place for a fair price! I always stop there before going to the movies! I always do Tony Jack, cuz I go the movies on Tuesday! But this time I went on Thursday to try the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were great. Seats are limited which means when it's busy, you'll have to ask to share seat or you'll have to take your pizza to go. I was truly reluctant to come and provide a bad review, as I have had nothing but great experiences with Tony Gemignani and his location in SF, the establishment Pizza Rock in Vegas and even this Slice House location previously. However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect. read more

wow such great pizza. We do not venture up to SF very often. Mostly its traffic and parking so we have not yet sampled Tony's award winning pies at the flagship location, but if this slice house is any indication we are in for a treat. This review cover a few to go visits The food DET Wiseguy: wow so good. The sweet spicy sausage combo has a such a nice taste and hits the heat balance perfectly as does the hot oil. The ricotta cheese helps with the balance and the green onion adds a tiny crunch plus helps cut the richness. its thick but just the right amount of chewey and crispy cheese sides. oh yeah DET Combo Americano (no Mushrooms): another great pie. SUper rich pie with just the perfect amount of everything. The roasted cherry tomatos added a nice sweet sour taste helping cut the richness and the stripes of sauce helped balance each piece. Same glorious crust as before Medium 12" Hawaiian Hit Man: OMG so good. The big twist is the smoked ham which well adds a nice smokiness to balance the sweetness of the pineapple. I've been wanting to try Slice House for a while and I have to say, I was not disappointed. I got a slice of their NY Style Wiseguy and the Special Slice of the Day, Picante. Both were really similar and good but I preferred the spiciness of the Picante. I liked the Wiseguy but it pulled a little sweet for my liking. Both pizzas were delicious and texturally, some of the best pizza I've had. The dough was light, airy and crispy, which was great because it didn't feel heavy or too doughy at all. And while there was some oil from the pepperoni and cheese, it wasn't overly oily, considering most NY style pizzas are dripping with oil the moment you pick it up. Each slice was $7.25 but they were both massive so I asked for them to be double cut, making it the perfect serving size. I also ordered the pistachio cannoli ($6.50) which was good but I probably wouldn't get it again for that price. Besides the food, the service was great, the employees were nice and attentive. My food came out quick and was really hot and tasted fresh. There was also ample seating both inside and outside. Overall, if you're craving a good pizza, I'd definitely check out Slice House. 10/10 would recommend. read more

A friend introduced me to this chain, up in Walnut Creek earlier in the month. Had been talking up the place to the wife ever since - and thought, how wonderful that we have a restaurant close to us. Tl;dr - It was not good. Upon leaving, she asked me how that was any better than a Whole Food's slice and then added that she (and she's not a pizza person) prefer's Dominos. And I have to agree from the slices we had: Walker's White Pie and a DET Motorhead. Firstly, it took a long time to get our slices ( it wasn't busy ). The slices were not hot, they were room temp (so why the wait?). The vibe inside was also off. Back to the food - the bread was not what I experienced up in Walnut Creek, it just felt old and tired. And honestly, couple of hours later into the day my stomach felt off ( I not saying... but....) The restaurant was dirty. For example, when I went to throw out our plates, the trash can was over flowing. I counted three people behind the counter ( again, not busy ) just milling about. Going to visit that friend this coming week, to work on a project - but have now told him that we're going back to the Walnut Creek restaurant, as I have to know - was I just lucky that day or what. Looking at some the other reviews, perhaps there's a management issue with this location (i.e. a lack of management ) and that's the reason for my poor rating. I just know that I let my wife down, and regret really talking up the near religionist experience had earlier. ( If I could recommend one 'easy' change to management, walking an order to a table should be stopped immediately. I think there's something to be said about ordering and physically collecting the slice is important. There's accountability, as the customer is looking a human being in the eye during the entire transaction. Slice House in Mountain View is such a solid spot if you are craving creative pizza with serious flavor. I love that each location has its own signature pie, which makes it feel unique instead of just another chain experience! The apricot pizza at this location ONLY completely surprised me! It had that perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the cheese tied everything together so well. It did not feel gimmicky at all and bite felt intentional and balanced. I also tried the Little Italy Detroit style and DET Motorhead style slices. The Detroit crust is thick and fluffy with crispy, caramelized edges and a cheesy center that does not feel overly heavy. The bread to cheese ratio is honestly just right. The DET Motorhead with the sauce layered on top was rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. The Italian sausage was juicy with a slight sweetness and a little spice that added great flavor! Beyond the food, the employees were so nice and attentive. They were patient, helpful with recommendations, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. Just finished up at a restaurant nearby and was walking around the plaza - the smell of pizza wafted over and convinced me to give this location a try. Got the cheese slice and the New York style hot honey pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The cheese was solid but nothing to write home about. The hot honey slice was definitely better, nice flavor overall, though a bit on the salty and greasy side, but it's pizza so it's kind of what you sign up for. Crust is on the thinner, hard and crispy side. They also offer Sicilian and Detroit style pizzas, which we'll probably try next time. The pizzas here are super tasty and the portion sizes are huge! For the price, you really get your money's worth. We also tried the buffalo chicken wings and they were perfectly cooked. The service was top-notch, too. Even though we ordered a large pizza, it was out in under 20 minutes. Just a heads up on the food: the pizza is quite oily and the ranch is very rich/fatty. However, the oil actually seems to indicate they're using real, high-quality ingredients, so it still tastes fresh. I live about a 3min walking distance from Slice house (MV) so I frequent this place every so often. They have a large selection to choose from. Today I tried the motorhead (detroit style) and "big papas" which apparently is not always served and only served on select days of the week I believe. Motorhead pizza 4.5/5 - classic tomato sauce with a ton of meat and cheese (think pepperoni, bacon, italian sausage, ricotta, salami, mozzarella). Well-made and I loved the crunchy cheesey crust. I also love that they re-heat your pizza without even asking. Big papa 4./5 - Heavier, more unique toppings (cheese, seasoned beef, purple potato, calabrese aioli, ranch). this was more unconventional with different types of cheeses. Also very well-made. My buddy knows I like pizza especially Detroit style so I had to try this place out. I was in the area and didn't know how the parking would be around noon time so I ordered from the website which was pretty simple. I ordered the Detroit style Wiseguy and the XL 20" Apricot Fields to go. Estimated time was a 20 minutes. When we arrived, there was a parking garage and street parking. We got lucky and were able to fond street parking right next to the pizza joint. We got there a little earlier so our pizza was not ready yet. My wife was hungry and she decided to get the BBQ Chicken slice while we wait. The crust was soft but the chicken was more on the sweet side. I don't like my pizza sweet so I was not a fan of this one. I ordered the Apricot Fields since it sounded interesting. It had an interesting taste. A little on the sweet side. I gave a slice to my parents and they thought the same thing. It wasn't bad but I don't think I would order this again. I had 2 slices leftover the next morning and heated it up. Honestly, it tasted better the next day after in the fridge where it wasn't as sweet as the first day. I checked Yelp and everyone was raving about the Wiseguy so I decided to get this in Detroit style. This had a lot of flavor. It's your traditional type of pizza toppings and did not disappoint. My kids and parents enjoyed this pizza a lot. The square slices are big so you can actually share one slice if you are not a big eater. For me, I didn't mind the big slice. The dough was good also. They do not give the Tony's Hot Oil for free so decided to buy the 8oz bottle to see what the rave is about. The initial taste was bland but after a few seconds, the flavor did come out with the heat. Still don't understand the rave about this chili oil when there really isn't anything special about it. They have another location that just opened up in Milpitas so if Mountain View is too far, you can hit up the other location. If you like detroit pizza or just pizza in general, definitely try this place out. My favorite pizza was the Apricot Fields, definitely recommend. It was packed with flavor in every bite. The crust is on the thinner side since the pizzas are more flat, but still really delicious. I was a little disappointed with the hot honey pizza though. It might have been because my pizzas were delivered stacked in a to-go box, and the one with honey was on the bottom. When I tried it, I could not taste the honey at all so it ended up tasting like a regular pepperoni pizza. Even with that, it is definitely still worth trying. I've driven by this place so many times, but tonight I had to check it out. There's a nice vibe Keith indoor & outdoor seating. Came on a Saturday and it was super busy. Was greeted immediately upon entering and staff here is dope and friendly. Never been here before so asked for recommendations and was told try a pepperoni deep dish and I believe it was Detroit slice as well and they both were delicious. The staff there has been a wreck every time I've gone. They always serve me my salad at the same time or even after my pizza instead of first. They're already ready but I guess they just want to bring everything at once because it's easier for them. This last time they walked around and told everyone they had to leave at 9pm, which is when they close. A few people had just ordered and gotten their food. So rude. I discovered Slice House when looking for parking around Mendocino Farms. I got one of those 15 min pick up spots right in front of SH and decided to check it out. They'd just opened for the day and I was able to grab some daily specials. Monday slices of the day: *NY style Veggie *Detroit style Popeye Both were vegetarian and pretty tasty! I like how the NY style had so many colorful veggies like rainbow bell peppers, red onions, olives, mushrooms, etc. along with classic red sauce & mozzarella. Detroit style was thick with a crispy crust and pillowy inside with just the right amount of chew. Popeye of course had spinach, cheese, and huge dollops of creamy ricotta cheese! It didn't take long to get my order after they heated them up. Staff were very helpful with a smile. Both indoor & outdoor seating available. The place isn't huge but a good addition to the eateries around here. I think they had two influencers taking professional style photos when I stopped by. Despite originating from an award-winning chef, this pizza place is actually quite affordable! Coming at ~$8 per slice, our $25 dollar order fed my family of three--with leftovers for a one person dinner the next day! When you come inside, you can either order a whole pie or order by the slice. If you want to order by the slice, you are limited to the flavor selection in the display. Typically, the display is large pizzas and a slice truly is one slice. If there's a small-sized pizza in the display, one slice is equivalent to half the small pizza as seen in my picture !! I thought the traditional was just okay. Nothing special about the sauce or toppings. The Detroit dough is pretty good but felt a little too air fried. The grandma sweet gino was fantastic. I'm not the biggest fan of thin crust, but this makes me reevaluate my opinion on thin crust. It's crispy and the perfect texture to make you really enjoy the flavors and opening. I liked the sweetness of it and how juicy it is. There's a lot of sauce but it still doesn't get soggy, making every bite super yummers. The ricotta is good too. Besides being a fantastic deal of $7 for like 3 slices, the NY style Genoa was great! I will admit that the dough is a little chewy and dry, but it is a sauceless pizza. The juicy cherry tomatoes and olives do great at making up for the lack of sauce. The pesto swirls make for interesting bites. It's like the flavor of the pizza changes depending on what you bite off, making it a fun experience. This shop is at a very nice area situated by some townhouses, a hotel, and some offices. There's a lot of seating by the shop. There's seating indoors, seating right outside the shop, and seating across the street by the office buildings. Despite being a fairly new area, it's very lively with families walking around. There's a park and dog park that's a short walk away as well as a few shops nearby. Even though it was dark after we finished eating, we still felt safe walking around the neighborhood which is definitely a big plus! Would come back!! We ordered a Webbs double sausage NY style pizza 20 inches, two slices of the sweet Gino grandma style, 3 cannolis, and a Caesar salad. Let me start off by saying one slice is already sooo filling. The pizza is great - I love the crust on the pizza and the toppings for this one was great. It wasn't too meat heavy but also had enough toppings to satisfy me. I haven't had a lot of New York style pizza but I really liked the one here and wonder how it compares to ones in NYC. Salad was good, pretty standard. I loved the croutons on top because it was thin slices of croutons instead of your standard square bits. The sauce was hard to fully get out of the container but was also very delish. Cannolis were good, standard cannoli can't go wrong. Overall, I would go here again. The service was quick, it's has an indoor and outdoor area which is perfect for bringing my dog. I'm not a pizza person but I love their pizza especially the Rosa. Tried the Rosa, Apricot Fields and Sweet Gino. I like that they have different types of tomato sauce for their pizzas so you're not just having different toppings but the tomato sauce had different flavors too. The Rosa had a yummy thick crust. More savory sour sauce. It had pepperoni and fresh basil. The Sweet Gino looked similar but noticeably different flavor. The sauce was on the sweeter side. Crust was half the thickness of the pan pizza. The Apricot Fields was good, too. It had apricots that caramelized, sausage, bacon, and drizzled with honey. And their desserts did not disappoint. One of the best cannolis I've had. The filling was not gritty nor too sweet. I got the pistachio cannoli. I finished it on the drive home. The chocolate chip cookie was also so good. It was thin but soft, almost tasted like it had brown sugar. Slices were priced from $7 and up so it's pricey for a pizza slice but good quality and even better taste. Staff were nice. We ordered a whole hot honey pepperoni and sausage pizza to go. It did NOT have the hot honey. It was greasy and oily with no hot honey. The worst pizza we have from here. Disappointing! 5-stars all the way! I am a huge fan of Tony's Pizza Napoletena and Slice House! I am so glad we have one near home. I'm so happy they have many individual slice options to choose from. Each pizza ranges from $6-$8 a slice with whole pizzas costing around $30. The service here is fast, straight to the point, and they are friendly. Great experience overall here. I am a huge fan of their Hot Honey and Little Italy pizza. The hot honey has premium slices of pepperoni and house made hot honey! The slice is huge with so many layers of flavor. I love pairing this with ranch. The Little Italy has an amazing white cheddar flavor with oregano and sweet sauce. The pizza is basically on this Detroit-style focaccia bread. This is one of my favorites for sure. I wish they didn't charge for ranch though; it would be nice to have at least 1 complimentary sauce of choice. For dessert, I highly recommend trying their pistachio cannoli! This is so creamy and flavorful. I want this again! I can't wait to come back here and order a whole pizza. I think I have found my new favorite pizza place! :D I first heard about spot from a TikTok video that showed up on my fyp. This girl was raving about the Apricot Fields pizza, and I'm a fan of savory and sweet pizza so of course I immediately bookmarked this place on my Yelp app. I stopped by here on Monday about 11:30am, and I was greeted my the staff. I got a slice of the Apricot Fields and Traditional Sicilian. I waited for a few minutes before I got my pizza slices. OMFG... They were sooo freaking yummy! Hot, flavorful, crunchy, soft, and the perfection! I ate them in the car while driving to work. The place is warm and welcoming. There are seating inside and some outside as well. There were some cute artwork on the walls. I think there were some TVs there too if I remember correctly. I can't wait to have more pizza again from this place! This will be my new go-to spot for pizza now! :) read more

Very happy to have Slice House in the South Bay. The pizza is delicious and they offer different styles: traditional NY (like they serve at AT&T Park), Sicilian (focaccia crust), Detroit (thick pan pizza with a cheesy, crispy crust), and Grandma's (J have no idea what this is but I'm sure it's great). This place doesn't have the same vibe as Tony's in North Beach SF, even though it offers the same pizzas; it's more modern and has multiple TVs.
