So tasty! We were visiting family in SJ and they grabbed Cicero's for everyone for dinner. I dove right into the Cicero's special and boy was that a great pizza. There were plenty of toppings, cheese and toppings went right to the edge of the pizza, crust was nice and crispy it was a great pizza experience. One of my SJ native friends told me that she drives from East San Jose just to get this pizza. Cicero's is in my neck of the woods. I usually come to this plaza for the Safeway or dim sum. Parking in this plaza can be hit or miss, depending on time of day. You definitely want to avoid when Grand Dynasty is selling dim sum on weekends. It's great that we have local mom and pop shops still. I placed an order on the phone and paid for the order in store. We had to wait another 5 minutes or so for the pizza to be ready once we got there. Pizza was piping hot and delicious. I definitely need to come back soon! $35 pre tax for a Large Baker's Pride to go! My mother in law who doesn't love pizza even enjoyed this! It was so covered in toppings that you couldn't even see the cheese! My husband liked the thin crust! I enjoyed the crispy edges, I wish it was on top of a thick crust like focaccia but that's just because I love a fat thick crust. The toppings were VERY generous. This is the third time I've had Cicero's delivered to me. This time I just got a large cheese pizza with a side salad. But I've had the veggie and meat toppings before and I love how finally diced everything is. They always spread the toppings nicely over the pizza. When I got my cheese pizza, it wasn't piping hot, but still a solid cheese pizza. I put a few slices in the air fryer and preferred the slices that were not warmed up. I'm curious as to what the pizza is like when in the store. A large cheese pizza and side salad delievered was $48 which is just crazy to me lol but I guess that's the times we're in. I used Foodie Earth for delivery, so even if you're far from Ciceros but still in the bay, you'll be able to get it! read more

Visited from Sac and wanted to get some pizza. We looked online and many people recommended Cicero's Pizza. We placed an order online, and it was ready within 30 minutes. While the food was overall decent, it was not worth the $44 we spent on food + tip. We had also found a bell pepper sticker label on our pizza (see picture). Based on this experience and price, we would probably not come again nor recommend to others. read more

Great pizza. This is currently the best pizza in the Silicon Valley & the great San Francisco bay area. It is its own style, which is crispy at the edges & thin, with a good amount of toppings. Their spicy vegetarian is our favorite, though plain cheese is a close second. My wife and I get a large spicy vegetarian minus cheese, with extra sauce & well done. If you come at lunch, they throw in free drinks. They even have Detroit's Vernors - be sure to try it if you have not.The pizza is neither deep dish, soft NY style, or gourmet Californian. Cicero's is an institution. So much so that we will drive way out of our way to eat this cheesy deliciousness. We always get the Spicy Vegetarian so really this is just an homage to this pizza combo. They somehow perfected the crust to cheese to toppings ratio. You'd think the star here would be the jalapeños but you see it needs the tomato, onion and bell peppers aside it to really shine. Had a strong hankering for a pizza on a late Sunday afternoon. I had to have a slice. I was obviously living under a rock as I was oblivious to the existence of this place till recently. Place was not packed but their phone kept ringing away for take out orders. We decided on the spicy veggie pizza. It was ready in a box for take out in 20 mins. I decided not to wait, found a table and started digging in immediately. It burnt my mouth!! Burnt mouth aside, pizza was undoubtedly delicious, the "spicy" part was from the pickled jalapeños. This is the thin, crispy and not floppy kind of pizza. Not too much cheese and the right amount of veggies. The outer rim was burnt on one side though. I personally Love Dominoes too but Ciceros Pizza is one the best thin or medium thin crust categories. 3. They take 20 minutes to prepare. They also close at 9:00pm and stop taking orders around 8:00pm so please go around 7:00pm for best outcomes. 4. Ambience is ok not too bad and not that great.. Right in the middle. 5. They allow you to just replace one topping and my only feedback to them is to allow two topping replacement. Many veggie lovers dont like mushrooms or sometimes pineapple in their pizzas 6. Service is within 20 minutes and you pay upfront. They call your name on microphone. 7. Red Pepper and Cheese jars are on the corner table for all along with paper towels. 8. There's a reason cicero's has been a neighborhood favorite for so long! They do not pre bake any pizza because mine was super hot when I got it and the pizza took a good amount of time to come out. So the flavor was wonderful and the crust was nice and crispy. Their crust also tends to be on the thinner side which I love. Depending on who's working, the service can be really sweet and nice. Ordered a large belly buster and some Modelo, waited about 20 minutes and the guy was kind enough to bring our pizza to the table. The pizza was very tasty, very crispy definitely a low carb delight with the super thin crust. It however didn't quite live up to the name as we'd expect more cheese and other toppings in order to 'bust the belly'. We are coming to Cicero for almost 13 years but for the first time the quality was very bad. $75 for 2 large pizzas were not at all worth it. Did they change the chef ? The taste was not at all good, no flavor, it was slightly burnt at the bottom, they didn't even cut the pizza properly. This was my family's all time favorite place, and we never minded the price but this time we were very disappointed. I would ask the original owners to please see what's going on. Got takeout from this place and it was really good, especially if you're a thin crust fan. Crispy edges, good balance of toppings, everything you could ask for. Despite the pizza traveling around 15 minutes before consumption, it held its shape and crunch. There was really nothing wrong with the pizza, but 35 dollars seems expensive to me. One of my favorite pizza spots of all time! Their thin crust pizza is one of a kind. No other place can re-create it! Everything here is absolutely delicious and is a must go spot for me when I am in the area. The inside of the restaurant has a true 80's feel to it - you can tell it's an establishment with history and is loved by the community. You order at the counter and you have a freshly baked pizza within 15 mins or so. The pizza isn't too heavy so you will end up eating more than you anticipate, but you never leave feeling overly full. The pizza is really a perfect balance between savory but not over indulgent. This has been my childhood favorite pizza. Nothing compares to the crunchy crust especially paired with draft beer (for me) and/or coke (for the kiddos). I do wish it came from a fountain instead of canned. It's a classic joint, clean, and not sticky. I would probably never have known about this place if it had not been featured on an episode of "Check Please Bay Area." It's in West San Jose, in a strip mall with a Safeway on Bollinger. You order at the counter and they call your name when your pizza is ready. We ate in. Their soda's are in cans rather than out of a dispenser. The menu is small: pizza's and salad, but they do have a choice of salad dressings. The salad is rather basic, but not bad. The pizza crust is very thin and crispy. We all enjoyed our pizza. My "No Meat Treat" could have used more cheese; perhaps next time I'll ask for extra cheese. Otherwise, it was very good. I was able to finish a small pizza. My husband had the Hawaiian and loved it. My daughter really liked her spicy veggie. We came at around 4 pm, which turned out to be fortunate since they were already getting busy. I would definitely go back. read more

Saw the episode featuring Cicero's on Check Please Bay Area so I had to check it out. The pizza was okay overall, the crust was great. Got there around 2pm on a Wednesday, so it wasn't that busy. First time going there so we were not savvy to the ordering process. Counter staff not very friendly or helpful navigating the menu. They seemed impatient with us as we were figuring what to order. Half the tables were not bussed. A large party came in and had to sit in the in blocked off area because there was not enough clean tables to accommodate them. The ambiance sucked. Place was not clean. I would not go out of my way to drive across town for this pizza. Highly disappointed. read more

The sauce is flavorful and you can ask for it to be extra crispy. Our go-to is the Spicy Vegetarian with pineapple. Yes, you read that right- pineapple!! It's self serve but the staff are constantly checking on pizzas, clearing tables and refilling condiments. It gets BUSY in here! Kid-friendly. We typically dine in on Sundays or take out on other days. They are open between 3-8pm on Sundays and the last dine in order has to be in by 7:30pm. this was my first time at cicero's pizza and i loved it!! we got a pizza split with the spicy vegetarian and the belly buster and they were both soo good. i think the crust here is the star of the show -- thin enough to be crispy but has enough dough to still have a slight chew to it! the pizza came out within 15-20 min which is pretty good imo! read more
