Was craving pizza on New Year's Eve as I just got into town. In the way home I went here to get me a few slices for dinner. They have a lot of variety to choose from and they reheat it for you too. My favorite is the chicken bacon pizza. Has the right amount of saltiness, I recommended eating the slice there while it's hot because once the pizza cools the cheese hardens and you'll have to reheat it again to really enjoy it. It's so nice when you can get all your favorites in one place! We went here for an early dinner after leaving the convention center on our way home to Sacramento. The staff was nice, turned out we were talking to the manager and asking her when they were going to build a shop in Sacramento. We love the Big Sur pizza! We've tried and like some other ones. PMH is a solid pizza place with a great gluten free crust! If you like crispy, this is the way to go. However, it's best eaten fresh and while the crust is crispy. And who doesn't want pizza after a few cocktails? We get there and excitedly order a veggie, a pesto, and 3 of tomato basil and ricotta slices. They were all sooo good. We ate two in the car before arriving home. My roomate is vegetarian and loved the veggie but IMO it could have been baked near the fire more because of all the veggies had the dough more soft than crunchy. Everything else was amazing. I'm hoping his name is Andrew because he had like a teal or blueish beanie that was woven on, and he just matched our energy so we just totally ecstatic and ready to try the pizzas. This review is long overdue. I frequent this place whenever I'm downtown as I live out of the area. The food is great including the sauce and the crust. From there it only gets better. They carry a variety of different types of pizzas, but my favorite is the Big Sur. Although the veggie pizza is really good, especially those artichoke hearts generously applied to each slice. The staff is really friendly here and they also employ a frequent flyer card so that you get free drinks and free slices and they offer salads also. All in all, this is a really good place to come and spend some time. The atmosphere is really nice with all the surf memorabilia all around and the place is nice and clean. Called in to place an order for a large Big Sur pizza. Was told that it would be 20 mins and picked it up in 15 mins. Customer service was good, was able to be in and out in less than 5 mins. Opened the box and it was 8 pieces - looks like they sliced it very uneven because there were some huge slices. The pizza was fresh and warm but the bottom of the pizza was still soft.. wish it was a bit crispier. The pizza seemed a bit more on the oily side - some of the mini pepperonis were filled with oil. Overall, the pizza was okay - I should've put it in the toaster oven to get it crispier but I was too hungry. Also, I had to use a napkin to soak up some of the oil - yikes. read more
