Was craving pizza on New Year's Eve as I just got into town. In the way home I went here to get me a few slices for dinner. They have a lot of variety to choose from and they reheat it for you too. My favorite is the chicken bacon pizza. Has the right amount of saltiness, I recommended eating the slice there while it's hot because once the pizza cools the cheese hardens and you'll have to reheat it again to really enjoy it. Eating Pizza My Heart and ordered a super veggie which is loaded with all different vegetable toppings on a nice thin crust. Came in around 7:00 PM. The inside is nice and clean, the staff is friendly and overall the slice of pizza was like an old-school pizza style. Wish there was more sauce than cheese but I think this style is also quite popular. It's so nice when you can get all your favorites in one place! We went here for an early dinner after leaving the convention center on our way home to Sacramento. The staff was nice, turned out we were talking to the manager and asking her when they were going to build a shop in Sacramento. We love the Big Sur pizza! We've tried and like some other ones. Saturday night downtown San Jose we wanted Pizza! As a California native for many years now living in Vegas we scoped Yelp and found PIZZA MY HEART! Yummy and always Amazing! PMH is a solid pizza place with a great gluten free crust! If you like crispy, this is the way to go. However, it's best eaten fresh and while the crust is crispy. The next day, the pizza crust wasn't as good. I really love their sausage, it's def more flavorful than most sausage toppings. The service was bad walked in there My son needed to use a restroom I was looking at the Yelp pictures on my phone to see what other options they had My son asked for the restroom code and the young lady answered with there's no public restrooms, first reason to contact health department once she figured that I demanded the past code for the restroom she walked away without taking my order and let another gentleman take that order for me, she personally dropped off a portion of the order which was some chicken wings and walked away with no words or friendliness at all thereafter we waited for our pizza and waited and once we received it it looked great from the top but on the first bite I tasted burnt flavors my children had already bit into theirs as well and I flip the pizza over and noticed that it was disgustingly burnt that's another reason to contact the health department we stopped eating I went to the register and asked for a refund for my entire purchase and the young lady that rudely denied having public restrooms without a word voided my transaction and gave me a receipt so I'm hoping my money was reversed back into my bank account I personally think that either the oven has not been cleaned in a while or maybe she maliciously Left my pizza in the over to ruin our family day either way it sucks I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and I've never had this experience before first thing tomorrow I will be contacting the Santa Clara county health department to report this incident I just don't know if it's something done maliciously or if it's the actual ovens that need major cleanup and also it is illegal to say that you do not have public restrooms restaurants legally have to have public restrooms . read more

I was on campus at San Jose State and needed to grab a quick bite to eat before class. It is literally like 3 min away from campus so its a great option for students. (Also the slices are only $5 which is student budget friendly hehe) As soon as you walk into any Pizza My heart you can see the precooked pizzas waiting there to be reheated. If you order a full pizza you will get it made fresh btw. But for single slices its a lot faster. The cashiers were all super friendly which is a big plus. Also don't forget to bring your stamp card because you can get a free soda, salad and slice of pizza The overall location is a 5/5 for me because they keep the tables clean, plenty of seats (indoor and outdoor) and they always keep their bathrooms clean as well which is appreciated. The pizzas that they had out looked like they had been sitting there for a while so I was a little iffy on the taste but when they reheated it, it tasted pretty good. Definitely an 8/10 on the texture of the pizza but 10/10 on the flavor! I was craving a vegetarian option so i got the pizza that had ricotta, basil and tomatoes. I can eat like 2-3 slices and I'm good. With girls night and some drinking involved, we all were craving some pizza. Luckily my friend lived nearby PMH and we placed a phone order for pick up. Somewhere between a 3 and a 4 but rounding up since my mom actually liked the Big Sur combo Craving pizza one evening but too lazy to drive I checked out what was available on DoorDash to use some of my credits. I haven't been to PMH in over 15 years since taking some classes at SJSU so opted for them. I think his name was Andrew, and I must say he is an asset to this place. More employees need to be like him! I called because it was late and I know in the past PMH closed at like 11 or so and Google said midnight when I checked online. I called and asked what time they closed and what pizzas were available. A nice guy answered and said we can make whatever pizzas you like and we also reheat any pizzas out in the oven to have them hot for you. So, I set on my late night adventure for pizza since it was after 11 and the South Bay sadly doesn't have many options for food except the same places. And who doesn't want pizza after a few cocktails? We get there and excitedly order a veggie, a pesto, and 3 of tomato basil and ricotta slices. They were all sooo good. We ate two in the car before arriving home. My roomate is vegetarian and loved the veggie but IMO it could have been baked near the fire more because of all the veggies had the dough more soft than crunchy. Everything else was amazing. I'm hoping his name is Andrew because he had like a teal or blueish beanie that was woven on, and he just matched our energy so we just totally ecstatic and ready to try the pizzas. He asked if we ever tried their pesto because my roomate drunkily wanted all this ranch and he threw in some of this amazzzing creamy pesto along with a cute PMH bag with handles that had cheese, peppers, napkins, and ranch. Called in to place an order for a large Big Sur pizza. Was told that it would be 20 mins and picked it up in 15 mins. Customer service was good, was able to be in and out in less than 5 mins. Opened the box and it was 8 pieces - looks like they sliced it very uneven because there were some huge slices. The pizza was fresh and warm but the bottom of the pizza was still soft.. wish it was a bit crispier. The pizza seemed a bit more on the oily side - some of the mini pepperonis were filled with oil. Overall, the pizza was okay - I should've put it in the toaster oven to get it crispier but I was too hungry. Also, I had to use a napkin to soak up some of the oil - yikes. read more
