Since patches are generally around $20, I am unclear about the pricing. Was it $10 per patch plus a $2 debit-card fee? I also could not help wondering whether I was treated differently because I am a woman. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR EV / TESLA TIRES OR RIM REPAIR (and alignment for that matter), READ THIS: On Sunday, I noticed a sock caught on my rear tire. Upon further inspection, I saw the sock was caught on the metal coming out from inside tire wear from my stock set of Michelins on my TESLA MYP. I panicked as you would imagine. The next day, I drove down Katella Ave (starting from the Disneyland area) stopping the various tire shops (including Sam's Club and Costco) asking for quotes on the various tires, everything from Michelins, Falkens, Bridgestone etc. Every quote I received was more than 1500 since my tires are different in the front than in the back and they are 21". I live in Cypress and found my way to Fast Tires based on a recommendation from a friend that knows his cars and local shops. Gustavo, from Fast Tires, took the time to check out my car, explain the different tires he had, what the treadwear rating meant and also made a good suggestion on extending the life of my tires (for offset, he suggested I flip the tires on the rim since I couldn't rotate them. I ended up passing up an 1800 set of Michelins for a much less expensive set of Otani's from Fast tire. The Otani's have a similar treadwear as the Michelin set I was going to buy and drive as nice if not better. To top it off, Gustavo threw a package together for me that included rim repair (check out the before and after pictures) and an alignment to make sure my new set of tires wear evenly. Beware do not come here, especially if you're a single woman going in there by yourself this is not the place to go. I have been coming here for years. My whole family has, today my tire light came on and I decided to go there to get it checked. The gentleman had stated to me that my two front tires needed to be replaced and my sensor. This gentleman never looked at my tires checked the air pressure on any of them so it made me question. Like how do you know? I need a new sensor and new two front tires if you have not done a thorough check. He told me that he did and that there were no nails and that there was no puncture nothing on the tires. Everything was good except the two front tires were measuring low and the sensor for sure the sensor needed to be changed. I felt like there was something shady about this and I just did not feel comfortable so I went to another shop where I had a second diagnosis. These gentlemen actually took the time to look at my four tires. Check the air pressure on all of them individually, and they actually told me that the back tire on the left had a nail and a slit on the tire they actually removed it and I took a picture so that you can see it attached to this review. I was extremely upset and very bothered at the fact that they tried to upsell me. They tried to get me to get things I did not need and they apparently thought that I would just be dumb enough to say yes go ahead and run my credit card or whatever. I did end up going to the shop. I spoke to the manager. The guy that assisted me was sitting right next to the manager and he did admit and told me that he did not check my two back tires. Keep in mind I had repeatedly told him that I was taking that long trip which makes me feel like if I wouldn't have gotten a second opinion what if something would've happened while I was on the road and for what just because you wanted to upsell me on a sensor it's not cool dude. Do not come here it's not worth it. Workers forgot to tighten the lug nuts when doing a tire rotation, and now vehicle is high risk of total loss. Wheel went flying down Walker Street. Crooked shop that won't work with you on all damages they created, and refused to provide any insurance. Blocked our phone numbers temporarily to try to avoid the problem. Owner was laughing when we provided them an invoice for the cost of damages over $4000 in repairs, and refused to take liability. Asked for insurance and owner refused. Once police involved, owner wanted to state "I Left it at home have to look for it" when every automative business should carry it at all times in the event they're negligent with their service and cause damage to a vehicle.
