I accidentally ran over something sharp on the 91 freeway causing a flat tire. I managed to drive my way into their lot. I was greeted by Edwin on the spot. Although they were pretty busy, Edwin could see that my tire was done. He said that I would probably need a new tire. When we went inside to check the computer for prices & inventory, I had my husband on speaker to ensure everything was going to go smoothly. Since my car was an AWD, Edwin stated that I should get the exact same tire instead of a cheaper option. He explained to us how it's best to use all of the same brand and type of tires to prevent future complications, which made sense. Lucky for me, he had the tire I needed in stock. I waited for less than 1 hour and paid about $270 for a new tire. Not a bad deal! The lobby was full of other people waiting for their car. Since there was no further damage to my car, he was able to get someone on it immediately! After inspecting the damaged tire, Edwin explained that there was a large puncture in the middle of the tire. It was not repairable any way. I always get the standard maintenance from the dealerships, but recently I was recommended to go to American Tire Depot for an alignment check and service. I was quoted 1 hour, and within that time frame, they checked my alignment and confirmed I would need to get the service done. Unlike other shops, they did not try to upsell me on additional services which I appreciated. Overall my experience with this location was good. They do have a small waiting room but the room is very cold so bring a jacket. read more

Edwin is always so friendly! He maintained a professional attitude and demeanor even when a lady he was talking to on the phone was giving him a hard time...I noticed he was very patient with her! I have purchased quality tires here, had my oil changed, tires balanced, aligned, and rotated and the staff tries to give you the best price...I believe they price match, but you can check. Also, I overheard another customer say she came back to this store because they were honest about something she didn't need to replace which apparently some other mechanic/shop said that she did! A new chapter in this saga (see previous story). I called the store and spoke with a rep who sounded just as flustered as I am, which I did not appreciate. He hinted that my Yelp review is based on just a free tire patching. Did he not understand that Yelp reviews are based on the customers' overall experience with goods and services? Also the last time I checked, I had paid considerable money for a set of 4 tires...plus additional money for the Lifetime Replacement/Repair/Refund Certificate. The tires' age were in the boundaries of the Certificate which I had purchased, so this isn't a Yelp review for something free. This rep also irritably asked what I wanted the store to do to my tire. What kind of question is that? They're the experts. I simply wanted them to fix the leak, and if they can't fix it, to replace the tire, per the Certificate I had paid for. Anyway, a short time later, the store manager Edwin and regional customer service rep both reached out to me with the shared interest of resolving the issue of this single tire. Edwin tried to accommodate my busy schedule by booking the appointment before or after my work, but I'm tied up all morning dropping off children to school and preschool and all evening picking up children. So the only thing I can do is unfortunately take time off work in the middle of the day for this 4th appointment (just like the other appointments), but it's probably worth it since the manager offered to personally supervise the repair work. I watched as the technician poured soapy water over the patch installed from the 1st appointment. Yep...BUBBLES! I knew it all along...it was a botched patch job (see previous story when I called it out). They determined I needed a new tire, which wasn't in stock, but Edwin made some phone calls and the replacement tire arrived in an hour. Edwin was a pleasure to work with! While the 2nd and 3rd appointment was a complete waste of time as they didn't bother to check their initial patch work, this particular yelp review is based on my experience regarding this specific appointment which would have been a perfect 5 stars if the store rep wasn't discourteous. read more

I had an appointment for a wheel alignment. I waited in the waiting area for my car to be serviced. I saw my car still parkered where I had left it 30 minutes after my appointment time. I asked the employee at the front desk about my car being serviced. He said the mechanic couldn't get my car started and took it upon himself to connect a scanner to it. I was very upset about this. First off, I was only there for a wheel alignment. I had no other issues with my car. Second, I never authorized anyone to connect a scanner to my car to search for a problem its never had. Needless to say. I left without my car being serviced and my car started right up when I left. read more

Edwin is a true gem! My Tesla warned of low tire pressure, so I exited the freeway. Got off to see my tire flat on the floor. I called this location immediately after AAA, but he didn't have the same tire in stock. After I explained that I had an event to attend this evening, he made an effort to get me the tire within the hour from their warehouse. He went above and beyond. He even called the location where the tire was supposedly fixed yesterday. As a woman, men like him make me feel that we are safe when we deal with car issues. I hate writing 1-star reviews for businesses, but my husband and I were extremely disappointed with the work and service at this location of American Tire Depot. We took our car here to get our 4 tires replaced. After picking up our car, we noticed that there were scratches on the rims of our wheels. My husband primarily drives this car and is very particular about the rims because they are larger so we know for a fact that there were no scratches on them before we came in. When we told the employee this, he told us to come in the next day to talk to their manager, Freddie. Freddie was initially friendly saying that he would fix one of our wheels, however, we later noticed that was a second scratch on another wheel that we initially overlooked. When my husband brought this up to him, his demeanor changed and he became extremely rude and dismissive. He began saying that we were "expecting too much" and "looking to get free things". We found this response to be completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I don't think it's asking too much to receive a service and to not have my car damaged after said service and I don't consider it looking for "free things" by asking them to fix what they had damaged. We've had our wheels replaced at other places before, and no one has scratched our wheels before, so it really shows that it's truly this shop that is being careless. He eventually offered to fix one of our two wheels (which is still ridiculous considering they damaged two wheels), but we decided to not take him up on the offer because we were scared that they would somehow damage the car further given the poor quality of work we've experienced with them so far. Overall, I'd say the quality of work that they do here is extremely poor alongside having bad service. I would not return here and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I hade an appointment at 9am on DECEMBER 2 2nd and they didn't finish till after 2:00pm! Only for the free break checks and free tire alignment and the free check options, they said it would only take 45min. Then after they were trying to overcharge me for new breaks and sensors and I said no thank you I have a place I can take it to for a fairer price and they took that personally I guess because he said multiple times that I should have just went to the guy I new in the first point and why I would even show up here. I just wanted to check my brakes real quick before I take a long drive and they are purposely working slower with my truck because I didn't want to pay extra for anything. The gentleman giving me trouble is named mihr I believe. Then the owner/manager I didn't get his name but he then gave me his number to contact him to make it right and he just ended up ghosting me and never replied till this day so do not come here for any free checks unless you want to get screwed over read more

I initially came here because I'd been getting alignments and tire work done here, and I thought they were a reliable shop. I returned again due to a nail in one of my tires and dropped off the wheel for repair. When I came to pick it up, the workers seemed nervous as I brought my wheel to my car and inspected it. Upon closer look, I noticed a large scratch on the outer lip and dents in the inner barrel. I was very disappointed, especially since my wheels are relatively new. I had the worst luck ever, and got two nails in car within a few months. Since it wasn't a serious leak, I took some time scouring yelp for some good options for repair and stumbled across American Tire Depot. They told me they could repair it for free! It was easy enough to set up an appointment and come in and get the tire plugged within 30-45 minutes. EJ was helpful and very professional with his customer service interactions. Reached out to the email provided and spoke to Ro who is a regional manager for American tire depot. He apologized for my experience and offered me a discount on future tires. I didn't need tires since I already bought them elsewhere. Ro says to reach out when I'm ready. So a few months went by and my wife's car needed motor mounts. American tire depot does have an automotive repair section along with a lift and mechanics so this shouldn't be a problem. So I thought. I called Ro who has since moved on to a different position in the company. He was less receptive this go round. He referred me to one of the American tire depot managers who told me to text him the car info to see what he could do. After texting him I never heard from him again and just did the motor mounts myself. So long story short American tire depot is unprofessional from the leadership down to the store clerks. Just save yourself the headache and avoid them all together. I'd rather pay more for better service. read more

Very disappointed in my experience at this America Tire Depot location. Carlos the manager shared that I could arrive on Sunday at 9 AM. He assured me that he would be there. After waiting 40 minutes he never showed! In fact, the shop did not open on time and there were other customers standing outside looking just as confused as I was. I called on a Sunday and needed a new set of tires. Edwin answered and explained everything so well and in detail to me. He gave me a few options and at different price points. So we settled on a new set of 4 tires and an alignment which racked up to around $1,200. Service was a quick about an hour. There was a heavier set guy who was being very loud and cursing in front of customers which was awkward. The next day I noticed I'm missing a cap on my tire valve so I call to ask them if they had an extra one or what happened. The guy who answered was rude, unprofessional and made me feel like I was the stupid one for calling and missing that part. I think his name was Manny but I couldn't hear clearly. It made me instantly regret doing business there but I was in a rush and he told me to come by and get one. As I'm waiting in the lobby there are 3 other customers and he's already being rude with them and I get super nervous so I just walked over to an older man working on the tires and explained my situation. I'm not usually one to write negative reviews, but my experience with this shop was beyond unacceptable... Took my Tesla Model 3 in for an alignment (car was pulling heavily to the right) and a tire rotation. When I went to pick up the vehicle I requested the before and after alignment specs and was told that the technician never printed it out (invoice clearly states electronic copy available upon request). Employee then stated that if I wanted the "before" specs I have to wait another 1.5 hour for them to put the car back on the lift (how does that even make sense?). This was a $169.99 service After leaving the lobby/waiting room. I go outside to see my car in the exact same parked position that I dropped it off in (6 hours before). I get in the car and drive off and car still pulls to right heavily (as if nothing was done). I pull over and inspect all wheels and tires and notice that my front passenger tire still had the curb rash from months ago. In addition I have the wheel cap kit for my Tesla and you can tell that the lug nut covers were never taken off since the layer of dirt was still present without any signs of someone touching them (they claimed to rotate my tires) I immediately went back to the shop and told the employee at the front desk what I just experienced. To that he says that I don't know my car and he's been in this business for years and that my car pulling to the right is normal. (I think everyone can agree that a car pulling to the right by itself is clear indication that something is wrong) I've been driving my car for 3 years on the same roads around here and this just started happening a few weeks ago. Horrible experience with this shop. All in all, save your money and go to a more experienced and less shady shop that actually has knowledgeable employees and delivers on what is clearly written on invoices read more

Awesome to book a free repair online and yes, end up with a free repair indeed; I went to the Ford dealership the day before and was quoted for $45 for the same work.
