The brushes and drying system in gentle on my car and the vacuuming after the wash is self vacuum. Facility is clean and staff is professional. Got a wet wipe to clean my interior. Great price, good wash. Like the air hose for drying inside all the cracks. Wish they had some sort of system where you can have a transferable account and maybe limit it to one wash a week. I drive company cars and they switch out every 2 months. I can't get a monthly subscription because I won't always have the same car. I get that some people would claim a work car but then just use one membership for a bunch of people. But if it was regulated to only 1 wash a week, I don't think many people would try to scam The system. And even if they did, it would only be 4 washes a month instead of daily. You could even make it so you show ID and then it would require the same person each time. That would be a huge pain in the neck for people trying to scam. Also please please please open another location in Glendora/ San Dimas/La Verne area. read more

Just recently at my job in Pasadena I've heard so many complain about their paint after getting their wash here over some time. That's what initially triggered me thinking about my car. As much as I love the convenience of this place and many others. The FACT that the expensive paint job that needs to get done after treating your baby to nice bath really makes it hard to find a place to go to where your car can be safe from such harsh damage from the water and solution jets. I find myself looking more towards HAND WASHES anywhere they are offered. I understand the willingness to wait for the many I see going for that over the wash in a tunnel. Despite a nice price point your really opening to other kinds of issues once your paint and sealants come off. In my case you can tell it was from a car wash where my damage is. It's pretty much at your own risk considering what the cost of things are now. It's really so disappointing to do many cars in such bad shape. Blessings to those who enjoy. read more

Tried this car wash for the first time, friendly customer service and clear prices. I paid $11 for the "silver" package. There was an attendant in the car wash to help drivers get situated. The wash was quick and when I exited, found that there were still a number of spots on my car that hadn't washed off. The silver is probably suited for those whose cars are already fairly clean and just need a quick rinse. Vacuums were nice and I was able to get the mats clean. read more

I have driven by this place a few times, and pretty consistently they have a long line, so I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I definitely like the concept and it's worth a try. PROs: Whenever I go to a full service car wash, I take out my sunglasses, spare key, and any valuables so that there are no misunderstandings later. At Fast5xpress, you don't have to do that because you are always with your car. I got the basic wash for $7 and it was exactly what I was looking for. Your car goes thru the wash (with you in the driver's seat) and then you do a self-service vacuum, blow away leftover water in door jambs, etc. I tend to get a lot of grass in my car from golf clubs, and these vacuums are really strong! Picked up all of the dead grass with ease. CONs: I generally don't like car washes with bristles or brushes, because I've heard that they have a tendency to swirl your paint. However, I didn't notice anything when my car came out of the wash, so maybe car wash brushes have come a long way. If you need to windex the insides of your car & wipe down the console you'll be doing that yourself, but you already knew that because this price is way cheaper than those full-service car washes. Overall, I'd definitely go to Fast5xpress again if my car's exterior needs washing but I was confident that the inside was in pretty good shape. I'm intrigued about the monthly plan, which seems like you can get unlimited washes for 1 month at a fixed price. Maybe that's geared towards Uber & Lyft drivers. read more

As much as I love the drive thru concept, I wasn't impressed with the quality of the car wash I received. This was my 1st time here and I purchased the $16 platinum wash. After the wash I immediately noticed that it didn't remove the bird poop and bug carcasses off the paint and the brake dust from my front tires - they were still black. So I got back in line, asked the gal if I could rewash my car and she gladly allowed me to. After the 2nd time, my wheels were clean, but the bird poop and bug stains were slightly removed but still noticeable. Also, since they offer Super Dry & Shine + Spot Free Rinse options you'd think your car would only have a few streaks...wrong. My car has water spots all over it. So now I'm going to have to pay another $20 to receive a full service car wash - but at least they'll take care of the vacuuming for me. read more

Drive-thru car wash, good if you just want your car to get somewhat washed, but overall, just didn't do a great job in cleaning the car. The drive-thru did a bad job in drying my car and left multiple water spots which just creates a different sort of problem. My recommendation would be to wash your car yourself or take it to a hand wash/dry car wash for a better overall car wash experience. read more

This was my first time at this car wash. I feel like the ratings are off for this listing. My car was in really bad need of a carwash so I decided to come to this place because of its high ratings. The line wasn't too long and the line moved pretty quickly. There's a cash line and a debit/credit card line. They have deals. I decided to go with the Gold wash which was $13 + a free wash if used in 3 days (really now? 3 days.... There is no way my car would get that dirty and in need of a wash in 3 days unless I decide to drive in dirt road). I thought the wash would be GOLD, but it was basic. After the wash, there were still some dirt left on my car and my windshield wasn't as spotless as I thought they would be. The machine with the cloth didn't even touch my car! How ridiculous. If I hadn't been to their Monrovia location a dozen times first then I might have considered 5 stars. First of all, they charge a dollar more per service than the Monrovia location... why would that be? It's not like the cleaning service experience is any different. The vacuums seemed to have better suction but the air extension wasn't long enough and kept getting cut off, so I would consider that a wash (no pun intended). I do like that you do it yourself and that whole concept but to hike up the price just because it's Pasadena doesn't seem ethical to me. I'm sure it's legal, but seriously? I'll stick to the Monrovia location at $6 a wash and complimentary if you get your car serviced at oil stop across the street. I would suggest they are consistent within a certain distance radius like other chains. A great drive through wash option with 4 different wash options depending on what you need. They have DIY vacuums and the little air sprayer thingies that I love using to get the water out of the cracks and mirrors. I'm here on a Saturday morning and it is jam packed! Recommend coming on a weekday. My one complaint: not sure if there is a windshield dryer brush, but my windshield was left wet. read more
