He cancelled one of them in order to do the other two (it made no sense to me) and then I had a lot of trouble with them receiving the fax from my doctor's office for the one cancelled. We ended up bothering my doctor's office three times over two days and the test was never completed. Further, the one test that was done was delayed by 10 business days due to the cyclospora outbreak, which is understandable - but Labcorps never informed me of the delay or the reason. I had to call them. When I wrote to complain, the supervisor of this Labcorps office called me but she was more interested in defending Labcorps rather than in helping me or seeing from my point of view. She did apologize for some of this. I was sick and needed the tests for treatment. This caused my illness to go on weeks longer than need be. I will not be returning to this Labcorps.

I provided them with forms and labels that LabCorp provided and printed out. I was asked to check-in using the kiosk and additionally verified my information with the person at the front desk. Yet, somehow, they were destroyed because they couldn't validate who the specimens belonged to. And so they called my doctor to inform him. Here's a question. If you didn't know who the specimen belonged to, how did you know to call the doctor and give them my name??? Furthermore, they didn't contact me themselves to admit their mistake and passed the buck to my doctor. These tests require days of preparation, which leave me feeling ill. I also need to go off important medication prior to this test. The loss of my specimens requires me to go through the preparation and go off my medication for an even longer time, which puts my life at risk. I also need to take more time off of work for collection and drop-off. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this location again. I plan to make it clear to as many people as I can that the operators of this location are incompetent cowards. I hope there is an inquiry into how this could happen so that it never happens to anyone else again.

Frederick office too busy- it took 2 months to get an appointment. 16 weeks after my appointment…read morethe office still hasn't scheduled for a colonoscopy as ordered. I have dealt with self diagnosed IBS-C for most of my life. I made an appointment with a GI doctor per my primary's recommendation for colonoscopy. It took awhile to get an appointment with Capital Digestive in Frederick. I called in June and got an appointment with an NP on August 30- not surprising given that I'm a new patient. I really liked NP Nicole Mitchell. She ordered me for a colonoscopy and interviewed me about my chronic "stomach issues". Nicole informed me that there are great medications to manage my issues. I was a little reluctant but agreed to try....WOW. The medicine that has changed my life living with irritable bowels! I was told someone will call me to schedule my colonscopy as I was leaving the office. Today is December 4th and I'm still not scheduled for a colonoscopy. I called the office in early October to inquire about colonoscopy and was told "it takes a while to schedule but don't worry someone will call you". I called again in early November and got the same response that it takes a while but someone will call soon. I asked what time frame is "soon" since it'd already been 10 weeks and I hadn't heard anything. She said it does take a long time. I apologized for bothering and asked how long I should wait before calling back, 4 months, 6 months, a year? She said I should hear something before December. I called the office a week ago without response. This time I left messages for the medical assistants of Nicole Mitchell and Dr. Strongin asking for help getting colonoscopy scheduled.....still nothing. It's been 6 months since my primary recommended a colonoscopy, and 16 weeks since it was ordered by Capital Digestive but I'm still not scheduled for colonoscopy. I really like Nicole Mitchell but their office of obviously too busy to take on any more patients because they can't manage what they have.

Dr Strongin is great. She treats myself and daughter. I have very good doctors and I was referred…read moreto her. I understand why.
