I went into the office to let them know what I needed, and I found a $10 off coupon for a certified smog test on their website (the coupon must be printed). I was really happy that they honored it. The cost was $79.75 for the vehicle inspection plus an additional $8.25 for the certification, which isn't optional since it has to be sent to the DMV. With the $10 discount, my total came out to just under $80. Honestly, though, that was on the higher end, but I guess it's still within the normal price range for the area. Overall, I was happy with how fast everything was. The only downside was that the man working at the front desk wasn't the friendliest. He wasn't rude or anything, but he definitely came across as someone who was just there to get the job done. The customer service could be a little better, but honestly, I don't usually have very high expectations for automotive service businesses when it comes to friendliness. As long as the work gets done efficiently, I'm generally satisfied.
