I don't know why I love this food truck so much. I'm really not a smash burger guy preferring the more traditional patty. But somehow the flavor of the burgers makes up for any hesitation that I would have. They do burgers right. I just enjoy them as a comfort food favorite. I go for the double smash burger and add a egg. It is absolutely delicious. Occasionally, I will add mushrooms instead of the egg. Never done both although not sure why. Do wish they had other options like avocado or perhaps grilled onions. But overall, I find this to be a wonderful meal. I also have tried the WTF fries and enjoy them very much. Simple food made perfectly and pretty darn quickly considering how busy they are. They are very pleasant and have some tables outside to sit at. It is conveniently located. I ordered their Smash Fries and Smash Burger, both were sensational. The Smash Fries are going to the very top of the list for "loaded" fries, made up of two smash patties with onions on a bed of fries and their smash sauce. The fries are made to a perfect crisp ( they are consistent with this, I had them again this past week and they were also nice and crispy). Easily one of the best burgers I've had, and I've had a lot! Got a basic double patty. The burger took less than 10 minutes and it tasted delicious. The tender meat, the soft bread and the yummy house sauce. It became my go to for a late meal. The truffle fries were amazing too. Ordered two burgers, fries, and pastelitos. The pastelitos were literally hamburger buns with some sauce in the middle -- nothing like what they advertise and honestly gross. The two burgers were supposed to come with cheese, and they came with no cheese at all. On top of that, the burgers themselves were mediocre and definitely not worth the price. I left an honest review, and instead of taking feedback, the owner decided to respond with attitude (and lie saying we got cheese which we did not) On top of that, the place itself is disgusting -- the tables were super dirty, and the location is just ugly overall. Terrible place, do not recommend. You're better off at McDonald's. This food truck is parked in the back parking lot next to the Vista Lago Ballroom. We were the only ones there as they just opened up, but from order to service was super fast! The food was incredible! Best burger I've had in a while! They have a variety of options and fountain drinks too. We got the tres leche that is only available Friday and Saturdays. Amazing!! I love smash burgers. But for me this place is a hit or miss. First time I had their burgers they were great . Second time they were burnt, another time they were so salty me and my friend couldn't eat them. Best burger in South Florida imo. I live way up north in broward so I really wish it weren't the best. I've tried to dethrone it several times with closer options , but FBR just won't fall off. So I'll keep taking the 30+ min drive as often as I can (usually once a month) as long as FBR keeps dropping these hot lava burgers. My go to is the smash burger in case anyone is reading this for a food recommendation. Also, one thing I do wish FBR would do is a mini fat boy basket.
