I have been here twice and both times, the baked goods were awesome. When you walk in, you are immediately hit with a wave of delicious smells. My first visit I tried the Lemon Doodle. It was like getting two desserts in one! My second visit I tried one of their savory cupcakes and went with the Little Italy. It was ginormous. It is more like a meal. The location can be tricky to get in/out of because of the busy road and the post office across the street. And the park lot is a bit small with all the businesses there. But once you find a spot, the reward is totally worth it. :) read more

Incredibly disappointed. Went on a friends rave review and bought a variety of 6 regular sized cupcakes. All were terrible. The cake was hard, as if they were very old, and lacked flavor. Strawberry cream filling on one tasted "fake" and chemically. What I found to be the worst thing was the very thick, hard and overly sweet frosting that left that horrible greasy feeling in your mouth like you get from a cheap store bought birthday cake. I LOVE cupcakes but it was one and done for me, and my husband, who will eat anything and everything, ate only 2 and said they were pretty bad and tasted old. I love this store. Cute, vintage like shop. A good space! Paper on the tables to color, for kids and adults alike. The choices of treats? Wonderful selection. My fave is the banana one and my son adores the President! Cause oreo cookies are amazing. The savory selection is great too. Every time I go in for one cupcake, I leave with at least a dozen. This place did a completely awesome job of creating exactly the cake and cupcakes I asked for! I sent pictures via email of what I wanted them to look like to go with our "Oh The Places You'll Go" theme, and they result exceeded my expectations. They were also packaged in way that made them easy to transport with nothing getting messed up. At the party we were hesitant to cut the cake because it was so adorable, but once we did, we found the pink champagne mixed with the lemon filling was amazing. The icing on both cupcakes was delicious. I had a salted caramel and The Charlie Brown (peanut butter/chocolate). The cupcakes themselves were good but could stand to be a little more moist, in my opinion . They are comparable to the size you make at home. My biggest gripe is the packaging they put the cupcakes in. We bought four cupcakes and they packaged them in a large plastic box-the kind more suitable for a takeout order of burger and fries. Most cupcake places have cardboard boxes with individual holders for each individual cupcake (this makes transport more convenient and is more green, to boot!). They are doing OK but could stand to make some improvements. read more

Wow, best cupcakes we've found in the greater Portland area. We bought a sampler of minis, giving us a chance to try 12 different flavors. The lemon was my favorite, followed closely by German chocolate. Love how the frosting complements the cake. Well worth the drive. read more

The only word to describe FAT cupcake is INCREDIBLE! The variety and creativeness of each and every cupcake is equally matched in their amazing taste. Few things as delicious as these cupcakes have entered my mouth. The savory cupcakes are my favorite, they taste like a legit home-cooked meal, but in the form of a cupcake (what more could you want out of life). The staff is amazing, friendly, and always joyful. It is never a dull moment at this bakery. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone with taste buds, you will not regret it. Five Stars doesn't even begin to do this place justice. We stopped in yesterday and bought 4 different flavored cupcakes----first of all they are overpriced at $3.50 each! I first cut in 1/2 the lemon cupcake which had a faint lemon flavored frosting and literally I couldn't find the filling at all! The 2nd was 1/2 of pink champagne cupcake which had a thimble full of filling. This morning we cut the chocolate raspberry one and at least it hd a nice amount of filling, but it was a frosting type of filling not what I consider a filling! It was okay, but no better than a box mix. We haven't cut the Reeser's peanut butter filled one yet. I want you guys to succeed, but you must improve the amount of filling and certainly the amount of frosting. It was not what I consider a "fat cupcake". Also, the size of your cupcakes might be the standard size, but they are still on the small size. Please take this to heart because I don't think you will make it with this quality/quanity of cupcakes!! Anyway, any of us could go to Albertsons, S/Way or Fred Meyer and not spend $14.00 for 4 cupcakes! Fair review????? I'd like to hear your response------ read more

We have eaten here before and the cupcakes taste great!! So we decided to share this little spot with family and ordered a dozen and a half cupcakes for easter. Upon pick up I was disappointed in the presentation of cupcakes I was given as the ones in the case had more love and effort. I feel that what I ordered wasn't a lot to not give the same amount. Next time I will do same day pick up from what has been made and displayed. Lushes amount of frosting, drizzle and esthetically great presentation. I won't be making an order again. :( read more

My wife has a gluten sensitivity and some gluten free products quite frankly taste like sawdust. I purchased a dozen of these gluten free Jems for her for her birthday instead of doing the same old thing. These cupcakes were absolutely WONDERFUL !!! They were moist and the flavor was AWSOME .!IN FACT THEY WERE SO GOOD THAT THE ENTIRE FAMILY ATE THEM and we are not gluten intolerant. My wife was absolutely thrilled. I'm not sure how they achieved a gluten free product that tastes like a normal cupcake but they certainly did. These ladies have a great product and the people were friendly nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone who has a sweet tooth. read more

I have been going here since it opened in 2014. They have the BEST cupcakes in the world! I love the different favors and the fact they have savory as well we sweet is a bonus. Ordered a dozen custom "beach" themed cupcakes a couple months ago. They were so cute, star fish and oyster pearls. Half dozen chocolate, half dozen vanilla - I don't recall what they call them on their menu. OMG. They were amazing. I'll probably ask for less frosting next time but the kids AND adults loved them. Placing another order next week for a birthday. I disagree with the review who called them "diabetes" cupcakes, hello, that's what cupcakes are - all sugar. Reasonably priced and easy to place order and pick up from my first experience. read more
